zThis device may only be repaired by specialist personnel. Inadequate
repairs can lead to considerable hazards.
Should your device need to be repaired, please contact WAECO
customer services.
zPull out the plug:
– Before cleaning and care
– After use
zEnsure that the ventilation slots are not covered.
zOn boats: if the device is powered by the mains, ensure that the power
supply has a ground fault interrupter circuit. Mortal danger!
zDisconnect the cooling device and other power consuming devices from
the battery before connecting the quick charging device.
zCheck that the voltage specification on the type plate corresponds to that
of the energy supply.
zThe cooling device is not suitable for transporting caustic materials or
materials containing solvents.
zFood may only be stored in its original packaging or in suitable containers.
Electronic devices are not toys.
Always keep and use the device out of the reach of children.
2.2 Operating the device safely
zBefore starting the device ensure that the power supply line and the plug
are dry.
zDo not place the device near flames or other heat sources (heating, direct
sunlight, gas ovens etc.).
zDo not fill the inner container with ice or fluid.
zDo not immerse the device in water.
zProtect the device and the cable against heat and moisture.
zDo not touch exposed cables with your bare hands. This especially
applies to when operating the device with the AC mains: mortal danger!
zWAECO cannot be held liable for damage resulting from improper usage
or incorrect operation.
