APPLICATIONS
Suitable for outdoor wall or pole installation in plazas, parks, gardens, courtyards, streets,
walkways, pathways, campuses, airfields, farms, and perimeter security.
INITIAL ACTIVATION
Press the power button on the light. After this, you can use the remote control to change settings
or switch between modes.
Power Button
BASIC OPERATION (QUICK START)
Press the power button on the light to select the operating mode:
• 1 time for Constant Lighting Mode
• 2 times for Motion Sensor Mode
• 3 times for off
Notes:
• The Light turns off at sunrise or when the battery has been depleted.
• The Light has a memory function. When the Light turns on the next night, it uses the
previously set mode.

BASIC OPERATION (CONTINUED)
Constant Lighting Mode

After 4 hours working
Press the On/Off button located on the light 1 time or press the Constant Lighting Mode
button of the remote.
Default setting: The Light will automatically turn on at night and maintain 60% brightness for 4
hours. After this, it will switch over to the default Sensor Mode (see next section).
Sensor Mode
Press the On/Off button located on the light 2 times or press the Sensor Mode button on the
remote.
Default setting: The Light will automatically turn on at night with 100% full brightness when
motion is detected. After 20 seconds of no movement, the light will dim to 30% brightness.
Notes:
• These are the basic factory default settings. The user can customize the brightness and
operation time by following the instructions in the Advanced Operation section of this
manual.

ADVANCED OPERATION (CUSTOMIZE)
Follow the instructions in this section to customize the light settings such as brightness and
duration in the Constant Lighting Mode and the brightness in the Sensor Mode using the remote
control.
The light will flash once after each button press.
Advanced Constant Lighting Mode
The light will stay on for the duration of time and brightness selected. After the selected time
period has transpired, the Light will switch to Sensor Mode.
1. Press the Constant Lighting Mode button on the remote
2. Press one of the 6 time buttons (2H, 4H, 6H, 8H, 10H, 12H)
3. Press one of the 3 Brightness buttons (60%, 80%, 100%)
Example Scenario:
1. Press button
2. Press 2H button
3. Press 80% button
The Light will turn on automatically at night and stay on at 80% brightness for 2 hours
and then switch to Sensor Mode.
Advanced Sensor Mode
When motion is detected, the Light will turn on at the brightness you choose. After 20 seconds of
no motion, it will dim to 30% of the previously set brightness.
1. Press the Sensor Mode button
2. Press one of the 3 Brightness buttons (60%, 80%, 100%)
Example Scenario:
1. Press button
2. Press 60% button
The Light will turn at 60% brightness when motion is detected and then dim (30% of
60%) after 20 seconds of no motion.

DEVICE INSTALLATION
• Install in a location where the solar panel gets adequate sun exposure for proper charging.
• Recommended installation height is 3-6 meters (9.8-19.5 feet).
Straight Pole:

Make sure these
screws are tightened.
1. Before installation, make sure the 4 bottom screws are tightened.
2. Attached the light to the pole using the included U-bolts, nuts, and washers. Pole diameter
should be 50-60 mm (2 to 2 ¼“).
After installation, the light angle can be adjusted.
Light angle can be adjusted by loosening the bolts on the side of the bracket, as shown in the
diagram below.

Curved Pole:

Tighten these screws.
Loosen these screws.
1. Remove the metal mounting bracket (it will not be used for this installation type).
2. Loosen the bottom screws until opening is wide enough for the pole.
3. Mount light on 50 mm (2”) diameter pole.
4. Tighten the four bottom screws to secure the light to the pole.

Wall Mount:

1. Before installation, make sure the 4 bottom screws are tightened.
2. Drill 2 holes 4 inches apart.
3. Mount to the wall with expansion bolts (not included).
After installation, the light angle can be adjusted.
Light angle can be adjusted by loosening the bolts on the side of the bracket, as shown in the
diagram below.

SPECIAL NOTE
• Please allow solar panel to charge in bright sunlight for over 5 hours before first time use.
• If the sunlight is not strong enough, it may take longer to fully charge the light. This is normal
for solar products.
• Lighting time depends on sun duration, weather and lighting mode.
• The battery in this light is replaceable. Please contact Wagan Tech Customer Service for
details.

• Keep the device away from fire and oil in order to avoid any explosion hazards.
• Avoid severe shock or impact.
• No one except professional technicians should attempt to disassemble the light in order to
avoid damaging the light.

Product is warranted to the original purchaser for a period of one (1) year from the

WAGAN Corporation be responsible for any amount of damages beyond the amount
paid for the product at retail.
Warranty Performance:
During the warranty period, a product with a defect will be replaced with a
comparable model when the product is returned to WAGAN Corporation with an
original store receipt. WAGAN Corporation will, at its discretion, replace or repair
the defective part. The replacement product will be warranted for the balance of the
original warranty period. This warranty does not extend to any units which have been
used in violation of written instructions furnished.

APLICACIONES
Conveniente para su instalación en paredes exteriores o postes en plazas, parques, jardines,

ACTIVACIÓN INICIAL
Presione el botón de encendido sobre la luz. Después de esto, podrá usar el control remoto para
cambiar la configuración o alternar entre modos.

Notas:

Presione el botón de encendido/apagado ubicado sobre la luz 1 vez, o presione el botón de
modo de iluminación constante en el control remoto.
Configuración predeterminada: La luz se encenderá automáticamente por la noche y mantendrá
el brillo al 60 % durante 4 horas. Después, cambiará al modo de sensor predeterminado (ver la
siguiente sección).
Modo de sensor
Presione el botón de encendido/apagado ubicado sobre la luz 2 veces, o presione el botón de
modo de sensor en el control remoto.
Configuración predeterminada: La luz se encenderá automáticamente por la noche y mantendrá
el brillo al 100 % cuando detecte movimiento. Después de 20 segundos sin movimiento, la luz
atenuará el brillo al 30 %.
Notas:
• Esta es la configuración básica de fábrica. El usuario puede personalizar el brillo y el

La luz parpadeará una vez después de cada pulsación del botón.
Modo de iluminación constante avanzado
La luz permanecerá encendida durante el tiempo y con el brillo seleccionados. Una vez
transcurrido el tiempo seleccionado, la luz pasará al modo de sensor.

segundos sin movimiento, el brillo se atenuará un 30 % del ajuste previamente establecido.

INSTALACIÓN DEL DISPOSITIVO

Afloje estos tornillos.
1. Quite el soporte de montaje metálico (no se utilizará para este tipo de instalación).
2. Afloje los tornillos inferiores hasta que la abertura sea lo suficientemente amplia para
el poste.
3. Fije la luz a un poste de 50 mm (2”) de diámetro.
4. Ajuste los cuatro tornillos inferiores para fijar la luz al poste.

NOTA ESPECIAL
• Deje que el panel solar se cargue bajo la luz solar intensa durante más de 5 horas antes
del primer uso.
• Si la luz solar no es lo suficientemente fuerte, la luz puede tardar más tiempo en cargarse
completamente. Esto es normal en relación a los productos solares.
• La duración de la iluminación dependerá del tiempo de exposición solar, las condiciones
climáticas y el modo de iluminación.
