Please read this instruction manual carefully and
familiarise yourself with your new Toaster before using
for the rst time. Please retain this leaet for future
references.
READ ALL INSTRUCTIONS BEFORE USING, KEEP
APPLIANCE AWAY FROM LIQUIDS.
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using this electrical appliance, especially when
children are present, basic safety precautions should
always be observed including the following.
Read all instruction.1.
Make sure that your outlet voltage corresponds to the2.
voltage stated on the rating label of the toaster.
Do not touch hot surface. Use handles or knobs only.3.
To protect against electrical shock, do not immerse4.
cord, plug, or any part of the toaster in water or other
liquid.

FOR THE FIRST USE
As there is manufacturing residue or oil remaining in the
toaster or heat element, it will often emit a slight odour
when rst used. It is normal and will not occur after several
times use, for the rst use it is suggested to operate
according to the below steps, except without bread. Then
let the toaster cool down and begin toasting the rst slice.
OPERATION
Note:
Make sure the crumb tray is positioned in place before1.
using.
Plug the power cord into the outlet. Ensure that the 2.
mains supply is the same as that marked on the rating
label of the appliance.
Set the colour control knob to your desired colour. 3.
There is 5-position level, the lowest is set white and
the highest is dark. The “3” position of control knob
can toast the bread to golden colour.
Note:
Toasting colour for one slice is darker than that for1.
double bread at the same level.
If toasted continuously, toasting colour for the latter2.
bread is darker than that for the preceding bread at
the same level.
Press carriage handle down vertically until it is3.
positioned in place, and toast will begin at once. Once
the bread has been toasted to the preset colour, the
carriage handle will be automatically sprung up.
Note:
Toasting process can be terminated at any time by1.
pressing the “Cancel” button.
Only when the power supply is switched on will the2.
carriage handle press down and stay in place.
During the toasted process, you may observe the3.
toasting colour, if it is satisfactory you can press the
“Cancel” button to cancel the operation at any time.
If the bread has been taken out from refrigerator,4.
press “Defrost” button and the LED beside it will be
illuminated, in this mode it will be toasted to your
desired colour.
If you want to reheat cold toasted bread, press5.
the “Reheat” button and the lamp beside it will be
illuminated. In this mode toasting time is xed, so

as soon as the time is up, the carriage handle will
automatically spring up and end up the reheating
process.
CAUTION
If toaster starts to smoke, Press “Cancel” to stop 1.
toasting immediately.
Remove all protective wrapping prior to placing in2.
toaster.
Do not toast food with runny ingredients such as3.
butter.
Never attempt to remove bread jammed in the slots4.
without unplugging the toaster from the electrical
outlet rst, Be sure not to damage the internal
mechanism or heating elements when removing
bread.
The bread slot is only applicable for toasting regular5.
size slices of bread.
Cleaning and maintenance:
Disconnect from AC outlet before cleaning.1.
Wipe the outside with soft dry cloth after toaster cools2.
down, never use metal polish.
Pull out crumb tray on bottom of toaster and empty3.
it. If toaster is used frequently, accumulated bread
crumbs should be removed at least once a week.
Make sure the crumb tray is completely closed before
using the toaster again.

WIRING
The mains lead of this appliance is tted with a BS1363
13amp plug which is tted with a 13amp fuse. If this plug
is not suitable for your socket/outlet it should be cut off and
destroyed and a suitable plug tted as detailed below
IMPORTANT WIRING INSTRUCTIONS
The wire in the mains lead are coloured in accordance with
the following:
BLUE – NEUTRAL (N) BROWN – LIVE (L)
GREEN/YELLOW - EARTH (E)
As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this toaster
may not correspond with the colour markings identifying
the terminals in your plug proceed as follows:
The wire which is coloured BLUE must be connected to
the terminal in the plug which is marked with the ‘N’ or
coloured BLACK, or BLUE.
The wire which is coloured BROWN must be connected
to the terminal in the plug which is marked with the ‘L’ or
coloured RED, or BROWN.
The wire which is coloured GREEN and YELLOW must be
connected to the terminal in the plug which is marked with
the ‘E’ or by the EARTH SYMBOL or coloured GREEN, or
GREEN and YELLOW.
WARNING THIS APPLIANCE MUST BE
EARTHED

GUARANTEE
This product is guaranteed against defects in material and
workmanship for a period of 24 months from the date of
original purchase or receipt as a gift.
The guarantee becomes invalid in the case of misuse or
repair by unauthorised persons.
Should this product become defective during the warranty
period, return it to the store of purchase together with your
proof of purchase for repair or replacement without any
charges to you.
This guarantee in no way affects your rights under
statutory law in the United Kingdom.
