Before beginning or modifying any exercise program, please consult your physician.
If you have a pacemaker or other implanted electronic device, consult your
physician before using a heart rate sensor. This product is intended for recreational
use only and is not intended for medical purposes. Heart rate and other readings
could be influenced by interference from external sources.
If you use this product with navigation software, always be aware of your surround-
ings and do not fixate on the screen. Moreover, set destinations and other user
inputs prior to your departure to ensure your attention stays on task and your
facilities are directed to your activity and not the device.
This device contains no user user-serviceable parts and repairs/modifications should
only be made by a technician authorized by Wahoo Fitness. Any unauthorized
modifications or repairs will void your warranty. Do not leave device exposed to
excessive heat or cold.

The enclosed hardware and its packaging contain chemicals the State of California
has found to cause cancer, birth defects or reproductive harm.

The enclosed hardware device complies with part 15 of the FCC Rules. Operation is
subject to the following two conditions: (1) This device may not cause harmful
interference and (2) it must accept any interference received, including interfer-
ence that may cause undesired operation.
Limited Warranty
Wahoo Fitness warrants this product to be free from defects in material and
workmanship, under normal use, for one year from the date of original purchase.
Defects that have resulted from improper or unreasonable use or maintenance,
accident, excess moisture, insects, improper packing, lightning, power surges, or
unauthorized tampering, alteration or modification are not covered. Wahoo Fitness
will, at its discretion, repair or replace with a comparable product, at no charge to
the customer for parts or labor, so long as customer is responsible for shipping costs.
Products may be new, refurbished or reconditioned and are warranted for the
unexpired period of the original purchase, or 60 days from return, whichever is
greater. Any products replaced become the property of Wahoo Fitness.
WHERE PERMITTED, THE PROVISIONS OF THIS LIMITED WARRANTY ARE IN LIEU OF ANY
OTHER WRITTEN WARRANTY, WHETHER EXPRESS OR IMPLIED, WRITTEN OR ORAL,

Wahoo Fitness Utility App from iTunes.
Insert
fisica securely into 30-pin connector at bottem of iPhone, iPod touch or iPad.
Open
Wahoo Fitness Utility and select Sensor tab.
Select
sensor you would like to pair with iPhone, iPod touch or iPad. Ensure the sensor is
within 5’ of fisica.
Done!
Your sensor should show data from the sensor, the signal strength and the serial
number of your sensor. Since ANT+ sensors ‘sleep’ when not in use, you may have
to ‘awaken’ it - for example, a footpod can be activated by taking a few steps.
Other Apps
Each App has a unique way in which it works with sensors so there is no universal
method for using fisica with all Apps. One common feature is that each App can
be ‘paired’ with a particular sensor to avoid readings from other people’s sensors.
Check our website for the current list of Apps compatible with your fisica sensor key.
3rd Party Sensors
fisica will work with all wireless sensors that conform to the ANT+ standard.
However, third party sensors have not been tested or verified by Wahoo Fitness and
the accuracy of the data produced may not be as precise as those of Wahoo
Fitness sensors

Thank you for buying the Wahoo Fitness fisica Sensor Case! With fisica technology, a
world of sensor information is opened to your iPhone and scores of Apps are available to
access sensor information in countless ways. Provided here is a quick start guide to using

Quick Start Guide
Open the fisica Case by unseating each of the six release tabs. Remove cover. Select
and install the approriate rubber cradle for your iPhone, either the iPhone 3G/3GS cradle
or the iPhone 4 cradle (the case comes with the iPhone 4 cradle already installed). Slide
your iPhone into the Case from the top so that the slot at the bottom of the iPhone slides
into the 30-pin connector located at the bottom of the Case. Replace cover and
secure by engaging all six release tabs.
Find Sensors
Each App that incorporates fisica technology uses a unique method to pair with sensors
and you should consult the instructions of the App you are using for the appropriate
pairing technique. If you are having a problem getting your sensor to pair with a
particular App, you can check if the case is working with a particular sensor by using the
fisica Sesnor Utility App. To do this, download the free fisica Sensor Utility App onto your
iPhone from iTunes. Open the App, go to the Sensors tab and select the appropriate
sensor you are trying to find - ensure the sensor is within 5’ of fisica. Your iPhone should
show data from the sensor, the signal strength and the serial number of your sensor.
Since most ANT+ sensors ‘sleep’ when not in use, you may have to ‘awaken’ it - for
example, a stride sensor can be activated by taking a few steps.
Bike Mount
The fisica Case comes with a semi-permanent Bike Mount. The Bike Mount is secured by
threading each of the two Cable Ties through the mounting eyes on the bike mount
(located under the body of the mount) and wrapping around either the handlebars or
the stem, depending on preference. Pull the Cable Ties through their self mating
receivers and pull tight (excess length can be trimmed with scissors). The Bike Mount
can rotate in 90 degree increments by loosening the set screw in the middle of the base,
turning as desired, and re-tightening the set screw.
Auxilliary Battery
Any iPhone compatible auxilliary battery that utilizes a microUSB connector can be used
by plugging the battery into the microUSB port located at the bottom of the Case.
Useability
The Case is designed to be weather and impact resistant. However, Wahoo Fitness does
not warrant against damage to the Case or your iPhone as a result of water, impact or
other factors. It is your responsibility to determine if the Case will provide adequate
protection given the conditions in which it is being used.
3rd Party Sensors
fisica will work with all wireless sensors that conform to the ANT+ standard. However, third
party sensors have not been tested or verified by Wahoo Fitness and the accuracy of
the data produced may not be as precise as those of Wahoo Fitness sensors.
