Wearing your C-Detect Sensor
Selecting the correct strap size
The C-Detect sensor comes with two sizes of adjustable arm strap, medium and large.
Once in place, this should be secured around the upper section of your arm as tightly as is
comfortable whilst maintaining good blood ow. If the strap is too tight, it can be loosened
and adjusted to suit.
Should the medium strap size not t at its most extended length, a larger strap size is pro-
vided in the box
Attaching the Strap to the Sensor
1. Pull both velcro end sections from the main elas-
ticated section of the strap.
2. With the C-Detect facing towards you, and the
velcro side of the strap facing up, feed the rst end
through the loop on the side of the sensor.

15
1.
2.
3. Secure in place by folding back the
velcro onto the main elasticated
section of the strap.
4. Now feed the other end behind the
sensor, and through the opposite
side’s loop.
5. Secure loosely in place, leaving
enough room to comfortably slip
the strap and now attached sensor,
onto your arm.

16
Securing the C-Detect to your arm
NOTE: The sensor must sit underneath the clothing and have direct contact with the skin
to operate.

towards the oor when worn.
4. Secure the strap by folding back the velcro
section onto the main body of the strap. Do not
make the strap too tight, this should be secure

your arm, the LED strip will glow solid BLUE and ash for 1

properly, the sensors will not be able to make the
good skin contact required to carry out the continuous
monitoring of vital signs.
If this occurs and is maintained for a period longer
than 10 seconds, the LED strip will ash PINK and the
device will vibrate. This will continue for 1 minute, and
then the C-Detect will turn o.
The Device should be re-tted to ensure good skin
contact and turned on again. If good skin contact is
detected, the LED strip will glow BLUE.
