Replacing The Battery
The battery compartments are located under the padding on the inside of each ear
cup.The padding is cut for easy access. Remove the battery from compartment and
replace with a new Size AAA Alkaline battery. Note the direction of the positive (+)
and negative (-) polls.
Adjusting the Headband
PM DIGITAL QUADS come with independent headband and ear muffs adjustments.
Size the PM Digital Quads to comfortably fit your head by sliding the ear cups in or
out of the headband.The ear cups should fit comfortably, completely surrounding
your ear to get the perfect acoustic seal.

Adjusting the AFT
The adjustable Frequency Tuning (AFT) knob is located directly behind the volume
control.The AFT dial operates independently from the volume control and enables
the user to adjust the sound frequencies to his/her individual levels.
1. Place theWalker's PM Digital
Quads™ on your head, with red
volume control on right ear and
the blue volume control on left
ear, adjust the padded
headband to create a
comfortable fit.
2.Turn on the power to your PM
Digital Quads™ and adjust the
volume to a comfortable level.
3.To increase the higher
frequency sounds in your right
ear, rotate the AFT control
forward (toward your nose).
4.To increase the higher
frequency sounds in your left
ear, rotate the AFT control
backward (toward the back of
your head).

Increases Hearing
• Up to nine times with 50 dB of power for the highest rating
in the industry.
Protects Hearing
• Sound Activated Compression (SAC) circuit helps protect hearing from
harmful loud sounds, by reducing the amplication of those sounds
to a safe level. Noise Reduction Rating (NRR) of 24 dB is among the
highest in the industry.
Digital Signal Processing (DSP)
• This mu oers two-channel digital circuitry capable of processing
millions of calculations per second providing unsurpassed sound
quality and speech clarity that only digital technology can produce.
Adjustable Frequency Tuning (AFT)
• Two independent AFT controls allow the user to focus on specic sound
frequencies for crystal-clear reception in any situation. The AFT control
allows the user to ne tune the bass/treble balance.

LIMITED WARRANTY
Walker’s warrants this product to the original purchaser to be free from defects in materials and workmanship, under normal use and conditions for a period of two years parts/90 days
labor from the date of the original purchase.
Under this warranty, this unit will be replaced or repaired at our option, without charge for parts or labor, excluding batteries, for a period of 90 days after the purchase. After 90 days, the cost of
labor with Shipping/Handling and Insurance of $99.95 is the customer’s responsibility. Copy of original receipt may be required for any warranty service.
This warranty is void if any of the following occur:
1. The warranty card was not sent in at the time or purchase
2. The unit is not owned by the original purchaser at the time of the warranty claim
3. The unit has been tampered with, opened or punctured
4. The unit has been immersed in water or other liquids, allowed to be filled with dirt or dust, or otherwise physically abused
5. The 24-month limited warranty has expired
This shall be the exclusive written warranty of the original purchaser and neither this warranty or any other warranty, expressed or implied, shall extend beyond the 24-month period listed
above. In no event shall Walker’s Game Ear, Inc. be liable for consequential damages, consequential property damage, or consequential personal injury. (Some states do not allow limitations on
implied warranties or exclusions of consequential damages, so that these restrictions may not apply to you). This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and you may have other rights, which
vary from state to state.

Remember that your PM Digital Quads™ are a quality instrument and should be treated in
the same careful manner as any other precision-engineered device.
1. Never allow any liquid to enter the PM Digital Quads™ as this may damage the
components within the device.
2. Do not store your PM Digital Quads™ in any location which would expose it to excessive
heat (for example, in direct sunlight, near car dashboards, heaters or radiators).
3. Be careful not to drop your PM Digital Quads™ as this may damage its components.
4. Never insert any foreign objects into your PM Digital Quads™. This could result in serious
damage to the instrument.
5. Never permit solvents to come into contact with your PM Digital Quads™ as this can
damage the units.
6. Clean your PM Digital Quads™ by wiping with a damp cloth moistened with a mild cleanser.

If Your PM Digital Quads™ Whistle
Whistling may sometimes occur when you wear your PM Digital Quads™ with the power
tuned on.Whistling generally occurs if the volume level is set too high. Turn the volume
level down until the whistling stops.

PM Digital Quads + AFT – Standard Features
The standard Digital Quads+AFT, Digital Quads +A/I and Digital Quads +W/C increase hearing up
to nine times by amplifying high frequency sounds with an amazing 50 dB of power. All Digital
QUADS come standard with Walker’s unique Adjustable Frequency Tuning (AFT) circuit.This
control knob allows the user to focus on specic sound frequencies for his or her individual hearing
needs for crystal clear reception in any condition. Additionally, the Sound Activated Compression
(SAC), exclusive to Walker’s Game Ear products, instantaneously and automatically compresses the
amplication of loud sounds like muzzle blasts to safe levels.
PM Digital Quads +A/I (Audio Input)
This model utilizes Digital Sound Processing (DSP), Adjustable Frequency Tuning (AFT) and also has a
new feature – an Audio Input (A/I). The A/I system allows the user to attach aWalkie-Talkie, FRS
radio, or other audio source (CD player, radio, etc.) to the mu through the use of the audio jack.
PM Digital QUADS +W/C (Wireless Communicator)
This model incorporates the same features as the Audio Input model without having to plug a
cable into the mu. Instead, a neck-loop cable
is attached to the audio source and magnetic
coil within the mu picks up the audio signal.
This new feature gives the user the ability of
“hands free”communication by using the loop/
microphone accessory available through Walker’s
Game Ear, Inc. A selector switch located on the
ear cup enables the user to choose between (M)
microphone, (MW) microphone-wireless, or (W)
strictly wireless mode.
