5INSTALLATION GUIDELINES.
5.1 GENERAL CRITERIA FOR THE SELECTION OF THE LOCATION WHERE TO INSTALL THE
CHARGER
The recharging point has been built for interiors and exteriors. So it is necessary to foresee the
build conditions and the protection of the build location.
Respect current local regulations for electrical installations, fire prevention and
accident prevention, as well as emergency exits at the location
The installation must only be carried out by qualified personnel.
The electric charging station can not be installed in areas with danger of explosion
(enviromentEX).
Build the charging station in such a way that it is not in the direct path of people,
that nobody can trip over the plugged-in charging cable and that no flow of
pedestrians can step on or cross the charging cable.
Do not build the charging station in a place where it is exposed to ammonia or
ammonia gases (eg in or near stables)).
Do not build the charging station in places where objects could fall and damage the
equipment (ex: ladders or hanging tires).
According to the product standard, the electric charging station must be between 0.4
m and 1.5 m high. It is recommended to mount the electric charging station (cavity or
high connection) at a height of 1.2 m. It should be borne in mind that some national
regulations may limit the height. It must be taken into account, that in case of
placement in parking, put it at a height, that in case of accidental collision, do not
damage the recharging point
Do not expose the device to direct water jets (ex: due to the proximity of manual car
wash stations, high-pressure cleaners, garden hoses)).
If possible, the equipment must be build protected from direct precipitation to avoid,
for example, frost and damage by hail or similar..
As far as possible, the equipment protected from direct sunlight should be build to
prevent the reduction of the load current or the interruption of the load due to high
temperatures in the components of the recharge station.
In case of outdoor installation (ex: in an open-air car park), if the temperature rises
to inadmissible values, please disconnect the recharging point..
Observe the installation regulations of international validity (ex: CEI 60364-1 and CEI 603645-

5.2 INDICATIONS FOR ELECTRICAL CONNECTION. GENERALITIES
The electric charging station is intended for connection to a cetac outlet.
You must select the recharge intensity according to the chosen adapter.
The plug where the PORTABLE EV is connected will have an existing power line with a fixed
cable and must comply with the current national legal provisions. This line must be protected
by the following protections:
Selection of the RCD circuit breaker (FI):
Each charging station must be connected to a separate RCD circuit breaker. No other
circuits may be connected to this RCD circuit breaker.
The nominal current IN must be selected to match the line circuit breaker and the fuse.
Dimensioning the Line circuit breaker:
For the dimensioning of the circuit breaker switch, the increase in ambient temperatures
in the switch cabinet must also be taken into consideration.
Determine the rated current according to the data on the rating plate, according to
the chosen load power and the power supply line.
Sizing of the power line:
When sizing the installation, do it according to current regulations at the state level. Take into
account the temperatures that the cable may suffer within the recharging point, if it will be
exposed to high temperatures.
Activation and disconnection device:
The electric charging station does not have a power switch. The differential switch and the
circuit breaker switch of the power line act as a network connection device. The recharging
point can always be turned on, turning off only in case of not frequent use.
