nIntroduction
The SafetyPips isacontinuous wriststrap monitor. The person wearingthe wristband is
grounded andcheckedpermanentlybyameasurementofresistance and body capacity.
Even incaseoflowbattery,electrostaticcharges aresafelydissipatedtoground.
When measuring the inputresistance ofthe instrumenttoground,please use avoltage
above 15 Volt becauseofthe 12Volt protection zener diodes fitted inthe instrument.
nInstallation
1.Fixthe SafetyPips attheworking placewherethetwosignalLED'scanbeseen.
2.Connectthe instrument grounding cordtoground.
3.Open the batterycompartment andcontactthebattery.
nOperation
Putonthewriststrapandconnectthe coil cordsnap totheSafetyPipsfrontconnector. The
instrumentisswitchedonby connecting the coil cord.
The SafetyPips monitorstheconnecting cordsand the contactbetween the wriststrap and
the humanskinby testingpermanentlyifthe resistance and the bodycapacityofthe person
wearing thewriststrap iswithinthespecified range.
