Introduction
The SRM®200 isa pocket size, lightweight, auto ranging surface resistance tester.
Measured valuesaredisplayed on an LCD dot matrixmoduleand can be stored in theinternalmemory.
Eachmeasurement includesthe current temperature and relative humidity.
Built-in electrodeswith conductive rubbermakegoodcontact with the object undertest.
IEC compatibleelectrodescan be externallyconnected fortestsaccordingto IEC61340-4-1,
IEC 61340-2-3 and IEC61340-4-5.

nMeasuring SurfaceResistance
·To measure the surface resistanceof an object, hold the instrument onto the surface and press the
"PUSH TO TEST"button.
·The value isindicated on the display. The coloured LED'sadditionallyindicate themeasuring range if
no limitisassigned. If the limitisassigned, thelimit arrowson the displaywillindicate the measured
value being below orabovethe limit range.
·▼▲ selectsthe storage folder; OK storesthe current measurement value to theselectedfolder.
nMeasuringResistanceto Ground
·Plug in the suppliedgrounding cordat onesocket of the instrument. Theassociated internalelectrode
willbe disconnected.
·Connect theopposite end of the grounding cordto "ground"ora"groundablepoint".
·Holdtheinstrument onto the surface likedescribed above and press the button.

Maintenance
Battery condition ispermanentlymonitored in the LCD display.
Connect theinstrument to a computerto charge the rechargeable battery in time.
The unit won't switch on if the battery isdamaged. Unscrew the battery lidat the backside of the unit to
replacethe battery. Replace onlya rechargeable battery of the sametype and take care of the polarity.
Warranty
The warrantydoesnot include the rechargeable battery, battery damage due to drainage, and
mechanicaldamage of the instrument. Thewarrantyisvoidif the unitisopened.
Repair
Repairs shall becarriedout by qualifiedpersonnel only.
In case you send the instrument forrepair,please pack it safelyand stateclearlythe problem
Calibration
The recommendedcalibration intervalis2years.
