1 Feature
The plaster silo allows the keeping of all kind of plasters, empbedding materials
and pounces in a totally dry environment free from dirt and pollution.To retrieve
stored material, simply press the knob and, thanks to an electro-vibrating device,
the material flows out constantly under close control, free from any lumps due to
integrated frequence control. The special “Clou” is the built-in tilting mechanism,
which makes refilling a child’s play. You only have to replace the entire storage
bin. This silo is a perfect addition to our Dosing Scales DSW-1.
2 For your own afety
2.1 Read the service manual carefully
Handling and operation of this unit requires detailled knowledge and attention as
explained in these service manual. This unit is designed only for the described
purpose.
Especially important notes are marked as follows:

2.2 Safety Instructions
This unit is designed for AC 220-240 V / 50/60 Hz only. ake sure
that the unit is always operated with the correct voltage.
Disconnect the power plug before doing any service or repairs.
2.3 Reliability for functionality and damages
The reliability for the functionality of the unit depends upon the owner or operator,
whether the unit will be serviced, repaired or alterated improperly by persons not
belonging to an authorized service company or when it is used for other than the
described purpose.
The unit must be operated and serviced according to these service manual. For
damages incurred due to negligence of these notes, Wassermann Dental-
aschinen GmbH cannot be held responsible.
Warranty and reliability conditions of the terms of sale and delivery of the
Wassermann Dental- aschinen GmbH are not extended by the above mentioned
notes.

3 Application
The plaster silo is designed to store all kind of plasters, embedding materials and
pounces in a dry environment protected from dirt. By simply pressing a knob, the
material flows out constantly under close control, free from any lumps.

4 Before Starting
4.1 npacking / Transport
−Remove all packing material and place the unit on an even and stable surface.
ake sure that all accessories are included (see “Specification”).
−Before moving the unit, please make sure that it is disconnected from the power
source. To avoid unneccessary transport damages, please pay attention to
proper packing when transporting the unit.
4.2 Installation / Storage
−Place the unit in a horizontal position.
−Do not place the unit outdoors.
−Place the unit so that the work area is freely accessible and so that operation is
not restricted. (Please consider the structural dimensions.)
−In case of long-term storage, the unit must be protected against humidity and
dust.
•Model WGS-25W with wall holder
Screw the unit with the supplied mounting kit onto a stable, bearing wall in the
desired height level.
4.3 Initial Filling / Refilling
1. Loosen the lock bolt and pull out the silo by holding it by the handle until the
lock bolt locks again.
2. Loosen the lever and rotate the silo 180° until the lever locks again.
3. Crank the handle downwards until the storage bin becomes free.
4. Fill the empty storage bin and place it inside the silo again.
5. Crank the handle upwards until the storage bin is placed firmly.
6. Loosen the lock bolt, turn the silo 180° until the lever locks again.
7. Loosen the lock bolt and push the silo back by holding it by the handle until the
guide bolts, connections and lock bolts lock again properly.

5 Starting
−Connect the power plug to a power outlet (220-240 V / 50/60 Hz).
−The unit is now ready for operation.
−Remove the rubber stopper at the lower outlet.
−Place the storage bin for plaster, embedding material, etc. under the outlet.
−Now it is possible to retrieve material by pressing the lower knob.
−The upper knob with the round arrow is provided to adjust the vibrating
intensity.
−To stop operation disconnect the power plug.
Di connect the power plug when not u ing the unit for a long
period of time.
6 Operation
1. Remove the rubber plug.
2. Press the mushroom-type knob.
3. Adjust the desired vibrating intensity with the regulator above.
4. Hold down the mushroom-type knob until the desired quantity is received.

7 Trouble hooting / Remedie

8 Servicing
8.1 Cleaning
To ensure continuous proper operation the unit must be cleaned regularly.
8.2 Maintenance
The plaster silo does not require any special maintenance. You only have to pay
attention so that the unit is always kept clean.

8.3 Warranty
The warranty period for all our units is 6 months. Should trouble occur during this
time, please inform your dealer or contact our service department.
Damage, caused by improper use, external mechanical influences, transport
damages as well as alterations made by unauthorized persons is not covered by
this warranty.

8.5 Repair
All service and repair works should be referred to qualified service personnel only.
For replacement, use only original Wassermann parts. The product liability expires
if any modifications or alterations have been made by others as well as if non-
original spare parts are used.
