1. Introduction
We would like to thank you for having acquired the Proxima system. We are convinced
that this product will give you satisfaction as it has been manufactured with extreme
care.
The Proxima system is delivered in a box and includes a by-pass valve. Please inspect
carefully your device in presence of deliverymen to be sure it has not been damaged
during transportation.
Before starting up your Proxima system, please read this manual carefully. Handle
your Proxima system carefully.
This packaging can be recycled.
Please find a few hints that will allow you to use your Proxima system in the best
way.

2. General advice on the installation
Pressure
A minimum pressure of 1.8 bar is needed to allow the valve to regenerate properly.
Please do not operate over 8 bar. If this is the case, use a pressure reducer
upstream of your installation.
Power connection
Be sure that power cannot be switched off accidentally at a wall switch.
If the power cable is damaged, please ask a skilled electrician to change it.
Plumbing
The plumbing must be in good state. In Case of doubt, please change it.
We advise the use of pre-filter upstream the installation.
Note : All electrical & plumbing should be done in accordance to all local codes.

•Setting the time "Replaces" and saves the
changes in memory

•switches between capacity, time, and OXYMA
consumption and displays the next display in the
program code

into regeneration

•changes variables from display to display in

Time of day
Time display- „REGEN TODAY“ will alternate with
current header if regeneration is expected today.
*Water meter detects water flow.
Push to go to the next parameter.
Remaining capacity
Remaining capacity Display- Each push on
button decrease capacity by 0.01 M3.
Push to go to the next parameter.
Number of days until next regeneration
Display the number of days until next regeneration
occurs
-Each push on button decreases days by 1.
Push to go to the next parameter.
Flow
Flow rate display.
Push to go to the next parameter.

3.3 Setting Time of Day
The user can also set the time of day. Time of day should only need to be
set after power outages lasting more than 24 hours, if the battery has
been depleted and a power outage occurs or when daylight saving time
begins or ends. If a power outage lasting more than 24 hours occurs, the
time of day will flash on and off which indicates the time of day should be
reset. If a power outage lasts less then 24 hours and the time of day
flashes on and off, the time of day should be reset and the non-
rechargeable battery replaced

3.4 Proxima System Cycle Sequence
Proxima System instructions allows the end user to set the order of the
cycle. The Proxima System Setup allows the end-user to set how long
cycles will last. The end user may choose any cycle order from available
number of cycle.
END must be used as the last cycle option.
The following is an example of how to set a valve so that when
regeneration is initiated BACKWASH occurs first, FILL occurs second,
DRAW occurs third, and BACKWASH occurs fourth, RINSE occurs fifth.

3.5 Proxima system setup
In Proxima System Setup the Watch control valve chooses the time for
the cycles selected in Watch Cycle Sequence and specifies other operating
parameters for the system. The upper and lower limits of the allowable
values for the cycles are as follows:

Step 8-VOLUME CAPACITY Off
If you would like to set up the regeneration
process based on Volume, than you can
mention the m3 Volume once this valve
reaches to zero, System will go into
regeneration at given (set up) time of day.

3.6 Time control regeneration setup

STEP 1 - Press and simultaneously
for 3 seconds.
STEP 2 –Day Override: When volume capacity is
set to oFF, sets the number of days between
regenerations. When volume capacity is set to
AUTO or to a number, sets the maximum number of
days between regenerations. If value set to oFF,
regeneration initiation is based solely on volume
used. If value is set as a number (allowable range
from 1 to 28) a regeneration initiation will be called
for on that day even if sufficient volume of water
were not used to call for a regeneration. Set Day
Override using or :
•number of days between regeneration (1 to 28); or
•oFF.
See Setting Options Table for more detail on setup.

hour of day for regeneration using or .
buttons. The default time is 2:00. This display will
show “on 0 m3”if “on 0”is selected in Set
Regeneration Time Option in WatchProxima
System Setup. Press to go to step 4 Press

STEP 4 –Next Regeneration Time (minutes): Set
the minutes of day for regeneration using or
. . This display will not be shown if “on 0”is
selected in Set Regeneration
Time Option in WatchProxima System Setup.
Press to exit Installer Display Settings. Press
.to return to previous step.
To initiate a manual regeneration immediately, press
and hold the button for three seconds.
Return to the system will begin to regenerate
immediately. The control valve may be stepped
through the NORMAL MODE various regeneration
cycles by pressing the button.
