intotheUSBsocketontherearofthereceiver.Thisallowscharging
oftwomicrophonesatanyonetime.PlugtheotherendoftheUSB
chargingleadintothesocketonthebaseofthemicrophone.
Duringnormaloperatingconditions,thebatteryindicatorwill
illuminategreen,turningtoredwhenthebatteryrunslow.
Whencharging,thebatteryindicatorLEDwillashcontinually,
andilluminatepermanentlywhenfullycharged.Allowthe
microphonestochargefullybeforeremovingthecharginglead.
Chargetimefromemptyisapproximately5hours.Ifmicrophones
arenotgoingtobeusedforanextendedperiodoftimeplease
removethebatteriestopreventdamageandcorrosion.
Important:Donotleavethemicrophonespluggedintocharge

Operating instructions
Connecting the receiver and operating system:
1.Pushandturntheantennaplugintotheantennasocketonthefrontofthereceiver,repeatforsecond
antenna.Pointbothantennasupwardsinaverticalposition.
2.Ensureyourmixer/amplieristurneddownbeforeconnectingthereceiver.
3.ConnectthereceiverusingtheMixoutputwiththesupplied1/4inchTRS(unbalanced)lead.
ThisshouldgototheMIC INonyourmixeroramplier.Controlofindividualmicrophonechannellevels
isviatheindividualchannelvolumecontrolsonthefrontofthereceiver.Alternatively,ifyouareusinga
multi-channelmixer,youcanconnectthereceiverusingtheindividualchanneloutputsusingXLR
(balanced)leads(notsupplied).
4.PlugtheDCpoweradaptorintotheDCsocketontherearofthereceiver.Plugtheotherendinto
asuitableACoutlet.
5.PressthepowerswitchonthefrontpanelofthereceivertoI.AllfourchannelpowerindicatorLEDs
shouldlightred.
6.Ensureallthechannelvolumecontrolsareturneddowntominimum.Turnyourchosenmicrophone
onusingthepowerswitch.TheLEDstatusindicatorwillashredbrieytoindicateitisON.
7.WhenamicrophoneisturnedonthestatusLEDonthecorrespondingchannelonthereceiverwill
alsolightup.Theradiofrequency(RF)indicatorwillturnyellowtoshowasignalisbeingreceivedfrom
themicrophone.Theaudiofrequency(AF)indicatorwillturngreentoshowaudioisbeingreceived
(i.e.itwillpulsewithyourvoiceasyouspeakintothemicrophone).
8.TurnthemicrophonepowerswitchtomuteorOFFwhenyouhavenishedspeaking/singingintothe
microphoneandbeforeyouplaceitdownonatable.
Thereceiverhas4separatevolumecontrols,oneforeachmicrophone.Usethisinconjunctionwiththe
controlsonyourmixer/ampliertoadjustthesoundlevelrequired.Ifthesoundisdistortedcheckthe
volumelevelcontrolsonthereceiverandthemixer/amplier.Ifsoundcontinuestobedistortedmove
themicrophonefurtherawayfromyourmouthandalsocheckthebatteryisfullycharged.
Thereceivercanbemountedintoastandard19”rackmountcase/rackusingthesuppliedrack-mount
brackets.Fixoneofthesetoeachsideofthereceiverusingthesuppliedscrews,andthenttheunitin
toyourrack.Themicrophoneshaveamaximumeffectiverangeofaround100m,dependingonthe
environmentinwhichthesystemisbeingused.Thiscanbereducedto60minmanysituations.Ifthe
soundbecomesintermittentmovethemicrophonesclosertothereceiver.Interferenceisoccasionally
possiblewhenthedistancebetweenamicrophoneandthereceiverislessthan1.5m.Toachievethe
bestpossiblesystemperformance,pleasekeepthemicrophonesatleast1.5mawayfromthereceiver.
Also,foroptimumreception,extendtheantennafullyandorientatevertically.Receptionmaybe
impairedbyobstaclesbetweenthetransmitterandreceiver.Highpowerelectricalequipmentcan
causeunwantedinterference.
