strengthutilisingabargraph.Astheradiosignalreceivedisreduced,thebar
graphwillreduce.
2.AFLevel
TheAFlevelindicatorisavisualrepresentationofthe
audiosignalstrengthutilisinga10segmentbargraph.
Astheaudiosignaluctuatesbargraphwillindicatethis.
3.Channel/Groupindicator
DisplaysthecurrentRFchannelandgroupinuse
bythetransmitter/receiver.Note:for863-865Mhz
CH70thereisonlyonegroupof15channelsavailable
forselection.
4.Scan
Thereceiverfeaturesascanfunctiontoallowtheuser
toavoidfrequenciesalreadyinuse.Beforecommencing
thescanoperation,pleaseswitchonanytransmittersto
beusedinthelocalarea.Unlockthemenusystemby
pressingthepadlockbuttonuntilthewhiteunlocked
padlocksymbolappearsonthedisplay.PresstheSetup
buttonandthenscrolltohighlightSCAN,pressenter
againtoshowtheoptionsforscanningUPorDOWNto
searchforaclearfrequency.Afterthescaniscompleted,
thereceiverwillautomaticallychangethefrequency.
Aftercompletingthescan,theIRsyncmustbe
completedtosetthetransmittertothesamefrequency.
5.Lock
Thereceiverfeaturesalockfunctiontopreventaccidentalchangestothesettings.
PressandholdLOCKtounlockthemenusystem.Afterashortperiodofinactivity,
thedisplaywillautomaticallylockortheusermayquicklypressthelockbuttonto
activatethemenulock.
6.Mute
Thereceiverwillmutetheaudiooutputwhenatransmitterisswitchedoffor
outofrange.Theusermayalsomutethehandheldtransmitterbypressingthe
transmitterspowerswitchwithashortpress.Thebeltpackfeaturesanon/off
switchonly.
7.Volume
Theusermayadjustthemicrophonetransmittergainfromthereceiverusing
thesetupdialonlywhilethedisplayislocked.
8.IRSync
Duringsynchronisation,theIRSyncwillasharadiatingsymbol,oncethedata
hasbeentransmitted,theradiatingsymbolwillilluminatefully.Transmittersstore
thesettings,asaresultIRsyncisonlyrequiredafteranychangesandnotbefore
eachoperation.
9.BatteryLevel
Thereceiverdisplaysthecurrentbatterylevelinthetransmittersallowing
remotemonitoringofthetransmitter’sbatterylevel.

Operation:
• Carefully,lifttheantennaeintotheverticalposition.
• Connecttheincludedpowersupplytoasuitable240VAC~50Hz
mainsvoltageoutletandplugtheDCconnectorintotheDCPower
Inputontherearpanelofthereceiver(12VDC,1000mAminimum)
• Usingthesuppliedaudiocable,connecttheMIXOUTontherear
panelofthereceiverforbothaudiochannelstothemixer’saudio
lineinput.ThereceiveralsofeaturesbalancedXLRoutputs,
oneforeachchannel.
• Switchonthepowertothereceiver,checkingthedisplay
backlightilluminates.
• Openthebatterycompartmentonthetransmitter(Beltpack–
pressthecliponthefrontsideandpivottoopen.Handheld-un-
screwthelowerportion).Installtheappropriatebatteries(Handheld
-1x185003.7VLi-Ionrechargeabletype,Beltpack-2x1.5VAA
Alkaline
non-rechargeabletype)intothetransmitter,takingcaretoobserve
theorientationandpolarity.Onlyusehighqualitybatteries.Ret
thebatterycompartmentcovercarefully.
• Forbeltpacktransmitters,whenswitchedonthedisplayon
thetransmitterwillilluminate.Ifthedisplaydoesnotilluminateor
glowsdimly,thebatterieswillrequirereplacement.Forhandheld
transmitter’s,ashortpressisrequiredtopoweronormutethe
unit,alongpressisrequiredtoswitchoffthetransmitter.The
displayshouldilluminatewhenworkingfully,ifthedisplayis
ashingorisdim,thebatteriesmayrequirecharging.
• Adjustthevolumeonthefrontpanelofthereceiverforeach
ofthechannels.
• FollowtheIRSyncOperationfullytoensurethetransmittersare
linkedcorrectlytothereceiverunit.Failuretofollowthisfullywill
preventthemicrophonesystemfromoperatingcorrectly.
NOTE:
TheDM800Hsystemisshippedwithtwohandheldtransmitters.Thereceiver
inthissystemfeaturesadualchannelreceiverallowingbothhandheld
microphonestobeusedsimultaneously,anadditionalbeltpackkitmaybe
purchasedifrequiredtobeusedinplaceofthehandheldtransmitters.Each
receiverchannelinthissystemmayonlybeusedwithonetransmitteratany
onetime.Iftheuserattemptstopoweron,andusetwotransmitterswith
onereceiverthesystemwillmalfunctionandnotoperatecorrectlyasone
transmitterwillcutouttheRFRadiosignaltothesecondtransmitter.
