Assembly
Please read and follow all instructions to ensure that your M-750 is assembled properly and
ready for use. Be careful to prevent damage or scratches during assembly. All tools
required to assemble the bike are included in the tool kit supplied with your M-750.
General Considerations when Assembling and Disassembling the M-750
Your M-750 uses wiring harness connectors and quick releases to allow quick assembly and
disassembly. You should fully understand how to operate these components because they
are crucial to the safe operation of your M-750.
Wiring Harness Connections
The wiring harnesses route power and communications to various components on the
M-750. The wiring harnesses have connectors located at the front and rear of the M-750 to
allow removal of the wheels (see Figure 2 and Figure 3).

Always reinstall the supplied cable connector wraps over the wiring connections, or if not
available, secure them tightly with cable ties.
Wheel, Seat, and Frame Quick Releases
The M-750 is designed for quick folding and unfolding without the use of tools. Because
your M-750 relies on quick releases for folding and general assembly and adjustment, it is
crucial that you fully understand how to operate the releases.
WARNING: DO NOT RIDE YOUR BICYCLE WITHOUT ALL QUICK RELEASES
SECURELY LOCKED. DOING SO CAN RESULT IN SERIOUS INJURY OR DEATH.
The quick releases are:
•Seat post quick release lever (Figure 4 and item 4, Figure 1)
•Frame quick release lever (Figure 5 and item 6, Figure 1)
•Front wheel quick release lever (Figure 6 and item 16, Figure 1)
•Rear wheel quick release lever (Figure 7 and item 27, Figure 1)

Figure 7. Rear Wheel Quick Release Lever
The operation of each quick release on the M-750 is similar. Refer to the following
instructions when opening or closing any of the quick releases:
1. To release the lever, pull it away from the bike and toward you until it turns 180°
and the word “open” is visible facing the outside, away from the bicycle. If your
quick release lever is not marked “open” and “closed,” it is open when the lever
curves away from the bicycle.
2. The tightness of the lever is adjusted with the nut opposite the release lever and by
rotating the quick release lever. Turn the nut by hand to adjust the tension while
holding the lever stable. Adjust the nut so that resistance can be felt midway toward
the “closed” position.
3. To lock the release lever, push the lever up and over toward the bike frame until it
turns over 180°and the word “open” is no longer visible, or the lever curves toward

Assembly WaveCrest Laboratories
TidalForce M-750 High Performance Electric Bicycle Owner’s Manual 12
the bicycle. The lever is securely tightened when it leaves an imprint on the palm of
your hand from pushing it closed.
4. Once the lever is closed securely, you should not be able to move it unless you open
it again (Step 1). If you can easily move it, then open the quick release lever again
and tighten the nut another half turn clockwise. Continue with Step 3.
5. If you have adjusted the nut too tightly and cannot push the lever to the “closed”
position, open the quick release lever again and turn the nut a half turn
counterclockwise. Continue with Step 3.
CAUTION: USE EXTREME CARE WHEN OPERATING QUICK RELEASE LEVERS.
YOUR PERSONAL SAFETY DEPENDS ON PROPER AND SECURE OPERATION OF THE
QUICK RELEASE LEVERS.
If in doubt on the operation of quick releases, take your M-750 to a local TidalForce dealer
for instruction or contact the WaveCrest Customer Support Team at 888-880-1988.
