CHARGING THE RADIO
A. Solar Power
Place the radio (solar panel) directly in or near sunlight.
When charging, the LI-ION charge indicator ( ) will have a
strong blue glow. The less light the solar panel receives the
more dim the blue glow will be. The 4000mAh LI-ION power
bank will take 25-30 hours to be fully charged. The solar
panel life span lasts a minimum of 25 years (with an average
radio use of 6 hours a day).
B. USB
Use the Micro USB cable provided to charge the radio
(connect to a USB power source like a computer or wall
adapter). The LI-ION charge indicator ( ) will keep blinking
blue while being charged, and will turn a solid blue when
fully charged.
Note: The LI-ION charge indicator will glow blue from
sunlight or any light source (natural light, interior lighting,
etc) which indicates that the radio is charging, however direct
sunlight will charge the radio the fastest.
