nicht im Freien erlaubt.

Der Kontakt mit Feuchtigkeit, z.B. im Badezimmer u.ä., ist

unbedingt zu vermeiden. Eine andere Verwendung als zuvor

beschrieben führt zur Beschädigung dieses Produktes, darü-

ber hinaus ist dies mit Gefahren, wie z.B. Kurzschluss, Brand,

elektrischer Schlag etc., verbunden. Das gesamte Produkt

darf nicht geändert bzw. umgebaut und das Gehäuse nicht

geönet werden!

The oor lamp is designed for indoor living room use only and

should not be used outdoors.

Contact with moisture, in places like bathroom, must be avoi-

ded at all times. Any other use, than described above will lead

to damage of this product. If the oor lamp is exposed to ex-

tensive moisture, there is a possible danger of electrical shock

and short circuit. The product should not be modied and the

enclose not to be opened.

Jeder Schirm ist innen weiß. Somit wirkt das direkte Licht

gerade bei den natürlichen Stomaterialien sehr intensiv

und es entsteht eine warme Atmospähre.

Zusätzlich kannst Du bei den Chintz-Stoen einen weißen

oder metallisch goldenen Reektor auswählen. Somit er-

hältst Du einen modernen edlen Look durch indirektes Licht.

For the chintz material, a white or metallic gold coloured ref-

lector can be selected. You will therefore get a modern, stylish

1. Nehme das Basiselement und schraube das erste der

drei Beine mittels Innensechskantschlüssel mit einer

der drei Schrauben leicht an.

2. Schraube das zweite und dritte Bein an so dass es ein

Stativ ergibt.

3. Richten die 3 Beine aus und ziehe alle fest an.

4. Schraube den Gewindering von der Fassung ab und

setze den Lampenschirm auf.

5. Anschließend schraube den Gewindering wieder auf

die Fassung so das das Schirmgestell sich zwischen

Fassung und Gewindering bendet.

6. Die Stehlampe ist nun einsatzbereit.

7. Schraube ein geeignetes Leuchtmittel ein

Nehme die Stehlampe niemals gleich dann in Betrieb, wenn

diese von einem kalten Raum in einen warmen Raum ge-

bracht wurde. Das dabei entstehende Kondenswasser kann

unter Umständen das Gerät zerstören. Lasse die Stehlampe

ausgesteckt auf Zimmertemperatur kommen. Warten, bis

das Kondenswasser verdunstet ist, dies kann mehrere Stun-

den dauern. Vermeide den Betrieb unter widrigen Umge-

bungsbedingungen. Widrige Umgebungsbedingungen sind:

• Zu hohe Luftfeuchtigkeit (> 90 % rel. Luftfeuchtigkeit),

Nässe

• Staub und brennbare Gase, Dämpfe oder Lösungsmittel

• Zu hohe Umgebungstemperaturen (> +35 C), zu niedrige

Umgebungstemperaturen (< +10 C)

Um eine sachgemäße Inbetriebnahme zu gewährleisten,

lese vor Gebrauch unbedingt diese Bedienungsanleitung

mit den Sicherheitshinweisen vollständig und aufmerksam

durch!

Stecke den Netzstecker des Netzkabels in eine ordnungs-

gemäße Netzsteckdose (230V~/50Hz). Versuche nie, die

Stehlampe an einer anderen Spannung zu betreiben. Die

Leuchte wird über einen Wippschalter Ein -bzw. Ausgeschal-

tet, dieser bendet sich an der Fassung der Lampe.

1. Pick the base component and gently screw the rst of the three

legs on, using one of the three screws provided, using an

Allen key.

2. Screw on the second and third leg, to create a tripod.

3. Line up all three legs and screw them tightly.

4. Unscrew the ring nut from the socket and place the lamps-

hade on it.

5. Finally, screw the nut ring back on to the socket so that the

lampshade frame is positioned between the socket and

thread ring.

6. The oor lamp, is now ready to be used.

7. Add a suitable light bulb.

Don‘t use the oor lamp right after it has been moved from a

cold to a warm room. Under certain circumstances, the arising

condensation can destroy the unit. Allow the oor lamp to re-

ach room temperature whilst unplugged. Wait until the con-

densation has evaporated, this may take several hours. Please

avoid using the unit in unfavourable environmental conditions.

• High humidity (> 90% rel. Humidity), wet

• Dust and ammable gases, vapors or solvents

• High temperature (> +35 C), low temperature (<+10 C)

To ensure safe set up of oor lamp, it is important to read this

operating guide and its safety instructions thoroughly before

use.

Plug in the power cord into a suitable electrical outlet.

Please do not attempt to operate the oor lamp on a dierent

voltage. The light is operated by on/o button, this is located

near the top of the bulb socket.

Platziere die Stehlampe nur auf einem stabilen, waagrech-

ten Untergrund. Achte auch darauf, dass kein Gegenstand,

z.B. ein Vorhang, durch einen Luftzug die Stehlampe berüh-

ren oder in deren Nähe kommen kann. Es besteht ansonsten

Brandgefahr!

Die gesamte Stehlampe ist außerhalb der Reichweite von

Kindern aufzustellen, Kinder könnten die Leuchte umwerfen

und dadurch verletzt werden oder einen Brand verursachen.

Außerdem besteht die Gefahr eines elektrischen Schlages!

Stelle die Stehlampe auf den Boden. Die Aufstelläche darf

nicht leicht entzündlich sein. Die Aufstelläche muss waage-

recht sein, um ein Kippen der Stehlampe zu vermeiden. Die

Leuchte muss einen sicheren Stand haben.

Die Stehlampe ist nur für den Betrieb in geschlossenen,

trockenen Innenr umen zugelassen. Verlege das Netzkabel

immer so, dass keine Person darüber stolpern kann.

Überprüfe regelmäßig die technische Sicherheit des Gerätes,

z.B. auf Beschädigung des Netzkabels. Wenn anzunehmen

ist, dass ein gefahrloser Betrieb nicht mehr möglich ist, so ist

die Stehlampe

außer Betrieb zu setzen und gegen unbeabsichtigten Be-

trieb zu sichern. Es ist anzunehmen, dass ein gefahrloser

Betrieb nicht mehr möglich ist, wenn:

• die Stehlampe sichtbare Beschädigungen aufweist

• die Stehlampe nicht mehr arbeitet

• nach längerer Lagerung unter ungünstigen Verhältnissen

oder

• nach schweren Transportbeanspruchungen.

Bevor Du die Stehlampe reinigst oder wartesz, ziehe den

Netzstecker aus der Netzsteckdose. Warte, bis die Stehlam-

pe abgekühlt ist. Eine Reparatur, ein Leuchtmittelwechsel

oder ein önen der Stehlampe darf nur durch eine Fach-

kraft erfolgen, die mit den damit verbundenen Gefahren

bzw. einschlägigen Vorschriften vertraut ist.

Die Stehlampe ist für Dich abgesehen von einem Wech-

sel eines Leuchtmittels wartungsfrei, öne diese deshalb

niemals. Durch önen des Produkts erlischt der Garantie-

anspruch. Äußerlich sollte die Stehlampe nur mit einem wei-

chen, trockenen Tuch oder Pinsel gereinigt werden. Verwen-

den Sie auf keinen Fall aggressive Reinigungsmittel oder

chemische Lösungen, da dadurch das Gehäuse angegrien

oder die Funktion beeinträchtigt werden könnte.

Position the oor lamp on a stable, horizontal oor surface.

Ensure that no object, e.g. curtains, can touch or come close to

the oor lamp in case of a draught. The lamp must be placed

out of children‘s reach. This may cause the lamp to be kno-

cked over, resulting in injury or re.

Furthermore, there may be a possible risk of electric shock.

The oor should not be ammable. The surface on which the

oor lamp is placed should be at, to avoid the oor lamp

from tipping over. The oor lamp has to have a secure posi-

tion.

Whenever possible, place the power cable in a way to prevent

tripping over it.

Check the technical safety of the unit periodically, e.g. for da-

mage to the power cable.

If the oor lamp can no longer be used safely, then it should be re-

moved. The safe use of the oor lamp is no longer possible when:

• it shows visible sign of damage

• when is no longer functioning

• after prolonged storage under unfavorable conditions

• damage after heavy transportation impact

Prior to cleaning or servicing the oor lamp, disconnect the

power cord from the mains socket and allow for the lamp to

cool down. Any repair or opening of the oor lamp, may only

be carried out by a qualied electrician who is familiar with the

risk and relevant safety.

The oor lamp is maintenance free, except for light bulb

change. The warranty will expire by opening the product. The

lamp exterior should be cleaned with a soft, dry cloth or brush.

Never use aggressive cleaning or chemical products, as this

may damage the unit‘s body or aect its functionality.

Ziehe vor dem Wechsel des Leuchtmittels den Netzstecker

der Stehlampe aus der Netzsteckdose! Vorsicht, elektrischer

Schlag, Lebensgefahr! Wechsel das Leuchtmittel nur bei

völlig abgekühlter Stehlampe, warte nach dem Ausschalten

mindestens 10 Minuten! Prüfe vorsichtig die Temperatur des

Gehäuses. Verwende keinesfalls ein Leuchtmittel mit einer

höheren Leistung, da hierdurch die Stehlampe überlastet

wird, Brandgefahr!

Berühre das neue Leuchtmittel nicht mit der bloßen Hand,

das auf der Haut bendliche Fett würde bei Erhitzung des

Leuchtmittels dieses beschädigen bzw. die Lebensdauer he-

rabsetzen. Benutze weiche Stohandschuhe oder ein Tuch,

wenn Sie das Leuchtmittel berühren

Entsorge das unbrauchbar gewordene Gerät gemäß den

geltenden gesetzlichen Vorschriften.

Carefully check the casing temperature, warning there may

be a risk of electrical shock. Avoid using a high voltage light

bulb, as this might overload the lamp and may cause a risk

Avoid touching the new light bulb with bare hands. The grease

from the skin could damage the bulb and shorten its lifetime.

Wear soft fabric gloves or a towel when handling the bulb.

If the unit has become unusable, it must be discarded in accor-

dance with current legal regulations.

Das Produkt darf keinen extremen Temperaturen, starken

Beanspruchungen ausgesetzt werden. Schließen Sie das

Produkt nicht an Verlängerungsleitungen an. Eine schadhaf-

Elektrische Geräte gehören nicht in Kinderhände. Lassen Sie

in Anwesenheit von Kindern besondere Vorsicht walten, Kin-

oder die Leuchte umzuwerfen. Es besteht die Gefahr eines

lebensgefährlichen elektrischen Schlages! Der Netzstecker

darf nie mit nassen Händen ein- oder ausgesteckt werden,

es besteht ansonsten die Gefahr eines elektrischen Schla-

ges.

Ziehe den Netzstecker nie am Kabel aus der Netzsteckdose.

Zieh den Stecker immer an den dafür vorgesehenen seitli-

chen Grifächen aus der Netzsteckdose. Gieße nie Flüssig-

keiten über oder neben dem Gerät aus. Es besteht höchste

Gefahr eines Brandes oder lebensgefährlichen elektrischen

Schlages. Sollte dennoch Flüssigkeit ins Geräteinnere ge-

langt sein, ziehe sofort den Netzstecker aus der Netzsteck-

dose (vorher die Steckdose über den Sicherungsautomaten

Deines Hauses stromlos schalten) und wende Dich sich an

eine Fachkraft. Lasse das Verpackungsmaterial nicht acht-

los liegen, Kunststofolien bzw. -tüten, Styroporteile, etc.,

könnten für Kinder zu einem gefährlichen Spielzeug werden.

Beachte bei der Montage und beim Aufstellen der Stehlam-

pe, dass das Netzkabel nicht gequetscht oder durch scharfe

Kanten beschädigt wird. Ziehe immer den Netzstecker aus

der Netzsteckdose bevor Sie die Leuchte reinigen, bei Ge-

witter, wenn Sie die Leuchte für längere Zeit nicht benutzen

und beim Leuchtmittelwechsel.

Der Abstand zu beleuchteten Flächen muss mindestens

0.5m betragen. Bewege die Leuchte nur, wenn das Leucht-

mittel abgekühlt ist. Ein heisses Leuchtmittel ist sehr stoß-

empndlich!

Sollte Du dich über den korrekten Anschluss nicht im Klaren

sein oder sollten sich Fragen ergeben, die nicht im Laufe der

Bedienungsanleitung abgeklärt werden, so setz Dich bitte

mit uns

oder einem anderen Fachmann in Verbindung.

Wende Dich auch dann an eine Fachkraft, wenn Du Zweifel

über die Arbeitsweise oder die Sicherheit des Produktes

haben.

In the event that liquid spills inside the appliance, immediately

disconnect the power socket from the mains (rst switch o

the mains via the circuit breaker in your house) and contact

a qualied electrician. Avoid leaving the packaging material

unattended; plastic lms or bags, polystyrene parts, etc., could

become dangerous toys for children.

When assembling and setting up the oor lamp, make sure

that the power cord will not be damaged by sharp edges.

A minimum distance of 0.5m from lighted area is required. Mo-

ving the lamp should only be done after the lamp has cooled

down. The lamp may be sensitive to shocks while hot!
