1. Allgemeine Angaben / Informations générales / General Information

1.01 Allgemeiner Hinweis / Indication générale / General description

Beim Betrieb der Crimp-Box TT 1416 gemäss vorliegender Betriebsanleitung ist die

TT 1416 Crimp-Box betriebssicher.

Werden die Sicherheitsbestimmungen nicht strikte befolgt und eingehalten, können jedoch

Gefahren vom Crimpgerät TT 1416 ausgehen (siehe Seite -06- Sicherheitsbestimmungen).

Die pneumatische Crimp-Box TT 1416 darf nur mit MONTIERTER Sicherheitsabdeckung

eingesetzt werden!

Die pneumatische Crimp-Box TT 1416 CA kann OHNE Sicherheitsabdeckung eingesetzt

werden!

Si la presse à sertir TT 1416 est utilisée conformément au mode d'emploi, la presse

pneumatique TT 1416 présente toutes les caractéristiques de sécurité d'exploitation.

Si les prescription de sécurité ne sont pas respecter strictement, la machine à sertir TT 1416

peut pourtant présenter des dangers (voir -06- Prescription de sécurité).

Utilisez la presse pneumatique à sertir TT 1416 seulement avec la protection de sécurité

MONTEE!

La presse pneumatique à sertir TT 1416 CA est utilisable SANS la protection de sécurité !

When the pneumatic Crimping-Box TT 1416 is used in accordance with the instruction manual,

the crimping-unit TT 1416 is safe to operate.

If the safety precautions and the warnings are not strictly observed the employment of the

crimping- unit could be dangerous (see -06- Safety Regulations).

Use the pneumatic Crimping-Box TT 1416 only with INSTALLED safety guards!

The pneumatic Crimping-Box TT 1416 CA can be used WITHOUT safety guards!

1.02 Produktebeschreibung / Description du produit / Product description

Das TT 1416 ist ein druckluftgetriebenes, als Tischgerät konzipiertes Crimpgerät für das WDT Crimp-System.

Die meisten handelsüblichen Presskabelschuhe werden mit dem pneum. Crimpgerät TT 1416 und dem

auswechselbaren WDT Crimpwerkzeug-System verarbeitet.

Jede andere Einsatzart der Crimp-Box TT 1416 ist nur mit schriftlicher Zustimmung des Herstellers

zulässig.

Jede nicht bewilligte Einsatzart des TT 1416 gilt als nicht bestimmungsgemäss. Für allfällige

Schäden lehnt der Hersteller jede Haftung ab.

machine à table.

La machine à sertir TT 1416 est prévu pour la sertissage de la plupart des cosses à sertir avec le système à

sertir interchangeable WDT.

Pour toutes autres utilisations de la machine à sertir pneumatique TT 1416, il faut demander

l'accord écrit du constructeur.

L'utilisation de la machine TT 1416 non autorisée par le constructeur est non-déterminer et le

The TT 1416 is a pneumatic crimping machine for the WDT interchangeable crimping system built as a

complete table top unit.

With the TT 1416 the most common terminals on the market can be crimped with the WDT interchangeable

crimping system.

All other applications of the pneum. Crimping-Unit TT 1416 are only permitted with a written

permission of the manufacturer.

For all unauthorised applications of the pneum. Crimping-Unit TT 1416 the manufacturer shall not

be liable for any resultant damage or injury.

1.03 Funktion / Fonction / Function

Passend zum Presskabelschuh wird ein auswechselbares WDT Crimpwerkzeug montiert.

Die Presskabelschuhe werden mit der WDT Einschubvorrichtung und dem passenden Führungsteil

wiederholgenau in das WDT auswechselbare Crimpgesenk eingeführt.

Durch das pneum. Fusspedal wird der Crimpvorgang ausgelöst und der Presskabelschuh verarbeitet.

Bei demontierter transparenter Schutzabdeckung aus Makrolon ist das Crimpgerät TT 1416 automatisch

blockiert.

La matrice interchangeable du système WDT est sélectionnée selon le type de la cosse à sertir.

Les cosses à sertir seraient positionnées correcte et réitérant par le guide et le support tiroir WDT dans la

matrice interchangeable WDT.

La machine TT 1416 sert les cosses à sertir par la commande à pied pneumatique.

Ci la protection transparente en Macrolon est relevée, la machine TT 1416 est bloqué.

Select the appropriate interchangeable WDT crimping die according to the type of terminal being processed.

With the WDT push-in device and the right locator the terminals are positioned correctly and repetitive in the

WDT crimping die.

The terminal is crimped by pressing and holding the foot pedal. Once the dies are completely closed, release

the foot pedal.

If the transparent Macrolon safety guard made of Macrolon is not installed, the pneum. Crimping unit TT 1416

is disabled.

2.01 Verantwortlichkeiten / Responsabilités / Responsibilities

Der Betreiber der Crimp-Box TT 1416 trägt die Verantwortung, dass jede Person, die sich mit der Installation

oder der Instandhaltung des pneum. Crimpgerätes TT 1416 befasst, anhand der vorliegenden Betriebsanleitung

genauestens instruiert worden ist.

Der Betreiber der Crimp-Box TT 1416 trägt ferner die Verantwortung für die Ausbildung des Bedienpersonals,

welche folgende Punkte beinhalten muss:

•Verwendungszweck der Maschine

•Gefährdungsbereich

•Sicherheitsbestimmungen

•Funktion der verschiedenen Elemente der Maschine

•Bedienung der Maschine

Um zu gewährleisten, dass die Einweisung und Instruktion des Gerätes verstanden worden ist, muss die

Schulung in der Sprache des Bedienpersonals erfolgen.

Notwendige Qualifikation der Personen, die mit dem Einsatz des TT 1416 miteinbezogen werden:

Inbetriebnahme

Instruktion

Technische Fachkräfte, die nebst der deutschen, englischen oder der

französischen Sprache, die Sprache des Bedienpersonals beherrschen.

Bedienung Durch technische Fachkräfte geschulte, qualifizierte Personen

Unterhalt

Service Technische Fachkräfte, die Deutsch, Englisch oder Französisch beherrschen.

Die Sicherheitsvorschriften und die einschlägigen Hinweise in den einzelnen Abschnitten müssen durch die

Betreiber und Benützer zwingend eingehalten werden.

L'exploitant de la machine TT 1416 est responsable de ce que toutes personnes chargées de l'installation ou de

l'entretien du dispositif TT 1416 connaissent avec précision le contenu du mode d'emploi accompagnant la

machine.

Il est en outre responsable de la formation du personnel de service, qui doit couvrir les points suivants:

•Domaine d'utilisation de la machine

•Zones de danger

•Prescriptions de sécurité

•Fonctionnement des différentes éléments de la machine

•Maniement de la machine

Pour garantir une bonne compréhension de la formation concernant la machine, il convient que cette formation

soit données dans la langue du personnel de service.

Qualifications nécessaires de la personnel pour l'opération de la machine TT 1416

Personnel qualifié technique parlant la langue Allemand, l'Anglais ou Français

et la langue du personnelle de service

Maniement Employés qualifiés, instruit par personnel qualifié technique

Maintenance

Service Techniciens spécialisés, parlant la langue Allemand, l'Anglais ou Français.

Les consignes de sécurité et les indications relatives à la sécurité figurant dans le mode d'emploi doivent être

rigoureusement respectées par l'exploitant et l'utilisateur

The user of the machine is responsible for making sure that all person in any way involved in the installation or

maintenance of the TT 1416 have been thoroughly familiarised with the system with the aid of this instruction for

use.

The user is also responsible for the training of operators, and such training must include the following aspects:

•Purpose of the machine

•Hazard zones

•Safety rules and regulations

•Functionality of the various components of the machine

•Proper operation of the machine

To assure full familiarisation with the system, the training must be conducted in the native language of the

operators involved.

Staff qualifications required in conjunction with the use of the TT 1416:

Set-up

Instruction

Technical personnel with language proficiency in either English, French or German,

in addition to the native language of the operator

Operation Through qualified personnel trained as indicated above

Maintenance

Service Technical personnel with proficiency in English, French or German

The safety instructions, warnings and precautions contained in the individual chapters must be strictly observed

by all users and operators.

2.04 Sicherheitsbestimmungen / Prescription de sécurité / Safety Regulations

Die pneum. Crimp-Box TT 1416 ist gemäss den CE-Sicherheitsnormen für Personen über 14 Jahre ausgelegt.

Es ist strikte untersagt, jüngeren Personen Zutritt zum pneum. Crimpgerät TT 1416 zu gewähren.

•Bei eingeschaltetem pneum. Crimpgerät TT 1416 ist allgemein Vorsicht geboten.

•Das Geräte darf nur in trockenen, staubfreien Räumen betrieben werden.

•Das TT 1416 muss auf einer festen Unterlage aufgestellt werden.

•Tragen Sie bei Arbeiten mit dem TT 1416 keine lose Kleidung, losen Schmuck oder lange, offene Haare,

welche sich in den Teilen des TT 1416 verfangen können.

•Vergewissern Sie sich vor der Inbetriebnahme, dass das TT 1416 auf einer festen Unterlage steht und

dass das TT 1416 vor dem Umkippen geschützt ist.

•Trennen Sie das TT 1416 vom Druckluftnetz, bevor Sie irgendwelche Unterhaltsarbeiten vornehmen.

•Ändern Sie das TT 1416 nicht ab und setzen Sie das TT 1416 nur für den vorgesehenen

The TT 1416 was designed in accordance with CE-Norms and EU Safety Standards for people over 14 years

of age. Allowing younger people access to the machine is strictly prohibited.

•Exercise caution at any time when the TT 1416 is connected to the air supply.

•Operate the TT 1416 in a dry, dust free environment only.

•Install the TT 1416 only on a sturdy stand or bench.

•When working with the TT 1416, do not wear loose clothing, jewellery or long, loose hair that can get

caught in the TT 1416.

•Prior to starting up the TT 1416, make sure it is firmly positioned to prevent it from tipping over.

•Disconnect the TT 1416 from the air supply before attempting any maintenance work

•Do not modify the TT 1416 nor use it for any purpose for which it was not intended.

•Do not operate the TT 1416 until you have studied and fully understood all instructions described in this

instruction manual.

•Maintenance work may be performed only by authorized and properly trained personnel.

mit den Dokumenten. Bewahren Sie die Original-Verpackung für einen späteren Versand auf.

un transport futur, conservez l'emballage spécial.

Upon receipt, unpack the TT 1416 Pneum. Crimping Unit carefully and check that you have received all

components against the packing slip. We recommend that you retain the packing for further dispatch.

Die TT 1416 ist mit einer Sicherheitssteuerung mit transparenter

Schutzabdeckung zum Schutze des Anwenders ausgerüstet. Bei

demontierter Schutzabdeckung ist die TT 1416 automatisch blockiert.

ACHTUNG:Bitte beachten Sie die jeweils gültigen

Sicherheitsbestimmungen im Einsatzland.

5. Inbetriebnahme / Mise en service / Installation

5.01 Druckluft-Anschluss / Raccordement air comprimé /

Compressed Air Connection

Das pneum. Crimpgerät TT 1416 und TT1416 CA nur mit

aufbereiteter (geölter und gereinigter) Druckluft betreiben.

Anschluss P von Fusspedal mit Druckluftnetz verbinden.

Betriebsdruck: max. 6 bar

Utilisez la presse pneum. TT 1416 et TT 1416 CA seulement

avec d'air comprimé conditionné (huilé et filtré). Relier le raccord

P de commande à pied avec le système d'air comprimé.

Air comprimé: max. 6 bars

Use the pneum. Crimping Unit TT 1416 and TT 1416 CA only

with conditioned air (lubricated and filtered). Connect P from

the foot pedal with the compressed air supply.

5.02 Fusspedal-Anschluss / Raccordement commande à

Pneum. Fusspedal A mit PU Druckluftschlauch Ø 8mm mit

Steueranschluss A des pneum. Crimpgerätes TT 1416 oder

Set-up procedure: Dies & Guides

6.01 WDT-Gesenk / Matrices WDT / WDT Dies

WDT Gesenk Paar auswählen und Gesenkschrauben entfernen.

Untere und obere Gesenkhälfte auf Backen schieben und mit

Spezial-Gesenkschrauben festziehen

ACHTUNG: Richtige Position der einzelnen

Gesenkhälften kontrollieren.

Choisir les matrices WDT et dévisser les vis spéciales des

mâchoires. Placer les mâchoires inférieures et supérieures dans

les matrices et serrez-les avec les vis spéciales.

ATTENTION: Contrôlez la position correcte

des mâchoires.

Choose the correct die set and remove the special screws from

the dies. Place the lower and upper die onto the jaw and tighten

it with the special mounting screw.

ATTENTION: Check the correct position of the

die halves.

6.02 WDT-Einschubvorrichtung / WDT Support tiroir / WDT

Push-in device

WDT Einschubvorrichtung auf linke oder rechte Seite des

Gesenkträgers schrauben.

Monter le support coulissant WDT sur la matrice inférieure sur

le côté droite ou gauche et serrer le support tiroir avec la vis.

Mount the WDT push-in device onto the lower die-holder on the

right or left side and secure the push-in device with the screw.

6.03 Führungsteil / Guidages / Locators

Führungsteil passend zu WDT-Gesenk und Presskabelschuh

auswählen und in die WDT Einschubvorrichtung montieren.

Führungsteil auf richtige Höhe und Distanz positionieren und mit

Schraube fixieren.

Presskabelschuh auf Führungsteil aufschieben.

Choisir le guidage qui correspond aux mâchoires WDT ainsi que

les cosses à sertir et introduisez le guidage sur le support tiroir.

Positionner le guidage à l’ hauteur et distance correcte et

serrez-le avec les vis. Placer la cosse à sertir sur la tôle du

guidage.

Choose the correct locator corresponding to the WDT dies and

connectors and mount it onto the WDT push-in device.

Position the locator to the correct height and distance and

tighten it with the screws.

Slide the terminal onto the locator.

6.04 Crimp-Position / Position de sertissage / Crimp

ACHTUNG: Richtige Crimpposition des

Presskabelschuhes kontrollieren und

Führungsblech entsprechend positionieren.

ATTENTION: Contrôler la position correcte

de la cosse à sertir et ajuster la tôle du
