Safety instructions:
•Do not use the control if it is visibly damaged or malfunctions.
•Make sure that the electrical system is adequate for the control system.
•An earth current leakage breaker must be included in the electrical installation.
•Electrical installation (cable connections) must only be performed by an authorised electrician.
Installation / function
Connect the control to a power supply, either via a power point or via the main control panel for the
spa bath or swimming pool. Install the control in an accessible location.
Float sensors or capacitive sensors may be used with the control. One, or two, sensors of each type
may also be used. The circuit board must be set for one, or two, sensors by switching the SW2 jumper
on the circuit board to the left or right (if one sensor is used, switch the jumper to the right).
Time lag
The control has a time lag in order to prevent turbulence in the spa bath or swimming pool from
activating the sensor(s) prematurely. The length of the time lag can be adjusted at R2 on the circuit
board.
The signal lamp lights constant green when the control unit calls for top-up water. 230 V output Un.
The signal lamp flashes green when filling is complete (standby).
Filling time (safety mechanism)
The control has a safety mechanism, in the form of a programmed maximum filling time, which
ensures that water cannot be supplied indefinitely should sensors, cables or circuit board fail. Filling
time is the maximum length of time the customer wishes the solenoid valve to remain open. Filling
time can be adjusted at R1 on the circuit board. See Fig 1 and 2.
The maximum permissible time is 240 min. Pressing the reset button during filling zeroes the filling
time. This may be relevant if large sand filters for swimming pools are to be backwashed.
The signal lamp flashes red if the maximum filling time is exceeded. Reset the control unit manually
by pressing the reset button.
