Airkos Maintenance

Charging can be operated in 2 ways :
- Directly on the Airkos at the back of the blower unit.
- On a removed battery

Any damage on the hose could alter the electronic alarms linked to the airflow.
The length of the hose must not be altered.
Any modification of the length of the hose would :
•Alter the calibration of the blower unit and alter the alarms levels
•Void any warranty claims
Airflow tester
- On a weekly basis, check the airflow calibration of the Airkos blower unit
Remove the air hose
Insert the airflow tester directly into the hose connection on the top of the
blower unit.
Use a fully charged battery
Use a new filter and new prefilter
Select the minimum 180l/m airflow
The blue ball must be above the minimum reference, as shown below.
If the blue ball is below the minimum level, please contact your local dealer.
Proscriptions
Never use the Airkos blower unit :
- in an enirionment with less than 17% oxygen
- in a confined area
- nearby flames and projections
- without any filter and prefilter
