1 Wichtige Hinweise
Bitte lies vor Gebrauch diese Bedienungsanleitung sorgfältig durch,
um eine sichere und ordnungsgemäße Verwendung des Produkts zu
gewährleisten und bewahre sie zum späteren Nachschlagen gut auf.
2 Sicherheitshinweise
 Die LEDs können nicht ersetzt werden. Versuche nicht, sie aus
der Lichterkette zu entfernen.
 Verwende nur die Lichterkette mit der auf dem Etikett angege-
benen Modellnummer des Transformators.
 Setze die Lichterkette keiner direkten Hitze oder Flamme aus
und tauchen Sie sie nicht in Wasser.
 Schließe die Lichterkette nicht an ein anderes elektrisches Gerät
an.
 Schließe die Lichterkette niemals an den Transformator an, wenn
sie sich noch in der Verpackung befindet.
 Bedecke die Lichterkette niemals mit Stoffen oder anderen
Abdeckungen, welche die Luftzirkulation um die Lichterkette
herum beeinträchtigen.
 Wickele die Lichterkette ab, bevor Sie sie an den Transformator
anschließen und den Strom einschalten.
3 Anschließen
Bevor Du die Lichterkette an dem gewünschten Ort anschließst,
musst Du sie vollständig abwickeln und sie am Adapter anschlie-
ßen, um eine ordnungsgemäße Funktionsweise sicherzustellen.
Wenn Du die Lichterkette vor der Installation für kurze Zeit der
Sonne aussetzt, wird sie biegsamer und lässt sich leichter ver-
wenden.
Überprüfe Deine neue Lichterkette, um sicherzustellen, dass keine
Risse in der Isolierung oder freiliegende Drähte vorhanden sind;

wenn dies der Fall ist, darfst Du das Produkt nicht verwenden und 
musst es an den Hersteller zurückgeben.
In den folgenden Jahren sollte die Lichterkette vor der Installation
überprüft werden.
Verwende Kabelbinder oder andere Befestigungen, um die Lich-
terkette zu fixieren.
Verwende niemals Nägel oder andere scharfe Befestigungsmittel,
die durch das Kabel der Lichterkette gesteckt werden müssen, um
sie zu befestigen.
Die Lichterkette sollte nicht über scharfe Gegenstände geführt
werden, die die Isolierung durchdringen könnten.
4 App herunterladen
Scanne den unten dargestellten QR-Code. Lade und installiere an-
schließend die essentials App für IOS- oder Android-Systeme.
5 Anlernen in der App
Die App unterstützt zwei Konfigurationen: Manuelles Hinzufügen und
automatischer Suchlauf.
Manuell hinzufügen
1. Schalte das Gerät ein und halte die Taste „L“ auf der Kontrollbox
gedrückt, bis die WLAN-Anzeige auf „Rot/Schnelles blinken“
wechselt.

2. Wähle Dein WLAN-Netzwerk aus, gebe das WLAN-Passwort ein
und klicke auf „Bestätigen“, um mit der Konfiguration fortzufah-
ren.
Hinweis: Das Gerät ist nur mit 2,4-GHz-Netzwerken kompatibel.
3. Die Konfiguration erfolgt wie in Abbildung 1 dargestellt in der
App. Nach erfolgreicher Konfiguration (Abbildung 2) kannst Du
das Gerät beliebig benennen. Außerdem kannst Du das Gerät
einem Raum zuordnen.

Automatischer Suchlauf
1. Schalte das Gerät ein und halte die Taste „L“ auf der Kontrollbox
gedrückt, bis die WLAN-Anzeige auf „Rot/Schnelles blinken“
wechselt.
2. Klicke auf „Auto Scan“ (automatischer Suchlauf) in der oberen
rechten Ecke der App. Die App scannt die Umgebung nach ver
fügbaren Geräten.
Hinweis: Das Gerät ist nur mit 2,4-GHz-Netzwerken kompatibel.

3. Die Konfiguration der App wird wie in Abbildung 3 dargestellt
abgeschlossen. Klicke auf „Weiter“, um die Konfiguration abzu-
schließen (Abbildung 4). Nach erfolgreicher Konfiguration kannst
Du das Gerät beliebig benennen. Außerdem kannst Du dem Ge-
rät einem Raum zuordnen.

6 App Startbildschirm
Die App hat 9 vorprogrammierten Modi, 7 Farben sowie die Funktio-
nen Bunt, Timer‚ An/Aus.

Timer
Du kannst den Timer folgendermaßen einstellen:
 Freie Wahl der Wochentage
 Frei Wahl der Uhrzeit,
 Timerfunktion: Ein-/Ausschalten
Die Timer-Taste leuch-
tet nach Abschluss der

7 Kontrollbox
 Die WLAN-Kontrollleuchte blinkt ROT im Kopplungsmodus (EZ,
Bluetooth)
 Die WLAN-Kontrollleuchte blinkt GRÜN, während eine Verbin-
dung zum Internet hergestellt wird.
 Die WLAN-Kontrollleuchte leuchtet konstant GRÜN, wenn eine
Verbindung zum Netzwerk hergestellt wurde.
 Die WLAN-Kontrollleuchte blinkt GRÜN, wenn am WLAN-Router
ein Netzwerkfehler vorliegt.

8 Fehlersuche
Wenn die Lichterkette nicht leuchtet:
 Vergewissere Dich, dass der Netzstrom eingeschaltet ist.
 Vergewissere Dich, dass die Lichterkette richtig an den Trans-
formator angeschlossen ist.
 Vergewisser Dich, dass die WLAN-Funktion auf Deinem Smart
phone aktiviert ist.
 Vergewisser Dich, dass die LED an der Box leuchtet.

 Schalte die Steckdose aus, entferne den Transformator und
schließe ihn an eine andere Steckdose an, von der bekannt ist,
dass sie funktioniert.
 Wenn die Lichterkette immer noch nicht funktioniert, schalte
den Strom aus, schließen die App und setze das Gerät zurück.
9 Entsorgung
Entsorge Deine Elektrogeräte nicht als unsortierten kommu-
nalen Abfall, sondern nutze spezielle Sammelstellen. Wende
Dich an Deine Gemeindeverwaltung, um Informationen über
die verfügbaren Sammelsysteme zu erhalten. Wenn Elektro-
geräte auf Mülldeponien oder Müllkippen entsorgt werden, können
gefährliche Stoffe ins Grundwasser und in die Nahrungskette gelan-
gen und Deine Gesundheit und Dein Wohlbefinden beeinträchtigen.

1 Important instructions
Please read the manual below to ensure safe and proper use of the
product.
2 Safety instructions
 The LED’s cannot be replaced, do not attempt to remove them
from the light chain.
 Only use the Light Chain with the transformer Model Number no
minated on the Light Chain label.
 Do not expose the light chain to direct heat or flame, never
submerse in water.
 Do not connect the light chain to any other electrical device.
 Never connect the light chain to the transformer whilst it is in
the box.
 Never cover the light chain with any fabric or other form of cover
that will reduce air circulation around the light chain.
 Uncoil the light chain before connecting to transformer and
turning power on.
3 Installation
Before installing into the desired location fully uncoil the light
string and connect it to adaptor to ensure that it is operating
correctly. Leaving the light string exposed to the Sun for a short
period before installation will make it more pliable and easy to
position.
Inspect your new light string to ensure there are no cuts in the
insulation or exposed wires, if there are, do not use, and return to
Purchase platforms or marketplaces.
In subsequent years, the light string should be inspected before
installation.
Use cable ties or other Christmas light fixing items to secure the

light string in position. Never use nails or other sharp fasteners
inserted through the light string cable to secure in position.
The light string should not be passed over any sharp objects that
could wear through the insulation.
4 Download App
Scan the QR code as below, get and install essentials Smart Home
App for IOS and Android system.
5 Configuration
The App supports two configurations: Add Manually & Auto Scan.
Add Manually
1. Turn on the power, long press the button “L” on the control box
until the wifi indicator light change to ‘Red/Quick Flash’.
2. Select the Wi-Fi in the work area of a device that can enable
successful Internet connection, enter the Wi-Fi password, and
click „Confirm“ to proceed to configuration.
Hinweis: The device is only compatible with 2.4 Ghz networks.

3. App configuration will be completed as shown in Fig. 1. Success-
ful configuration will appear as shown in Fig. 2. Names of devices
that have been configured successfully can be changed, and the
locations of the rooms where the corresponding devices are can
be selected.

Auto Scan
1. Turn on the power, long press the button “L” on the control box
until the wifi indicator light change to ‘Red/Quick Flash’.
2. Click “Auto Scan“ at the top right corner of the App page, App
will start to scan the devices.

The APP comes with 9 pre-programmed modes, 7 color and multi co-
lor, Timer, Power on/off.

7 Controller box
 The Wifi indicator light blinks RED in pairing mode (EZ, Blue-
tooth)
 The Wifi indicator light blinks GREEN during connecting to the
Internet.
 The Wifi indicator light is steady GREEN on after connected to
the Network.
 The Wifi indicator light blinks GREEN when the wireless router
has Network error.

8 Troubleshooting
If light chain does not light up:
 Check to confirm that the mains power is switched on.
 Check to confirm that the light chain is correctly plugged into the
transformer.
 Ensure that Wifi function is active on your phone.
 Check to confirm that the LED is illuminated on the box.
 Turn off power point and remove transformer and plug it into
another power point that is known to be working. If light chain
still doesn’t work, turn off power and close app, reset the device.
9 Light Chain
Do not dispose of electrical appliances as unsorted muni-
cipal waste, use separate collection facilities. Contact your
local government for information regarding the collection
systems available. If electrical appliances are disposed of in
landfills or dumps, hazardous substances can leak into the groundwa-
ter and get into the food chain, damaging your health and well-being.
