The uniform dispersion (105° conical pattern) of the Diva™ 8 makes it easy to place the speakers
where you need them, rather than trying to rearrange the room to accommodate the sound system.
Mount the speakers above head level to get the full effect of the system and cover the most people.
The Diva™ 8 is an excellent background music speaker. It comes complete with an extraordinary
state of the art wall mounting system to make installation easy and safe. It can be mounted on a
wall or ceiling in a vertical or horizontal position. Utilizing the mounting system that is included with
every Diva™ 8, installation is quick, safe and easily adjustable.

CONNECTIONS / WIRING
LOW-IMPEDANCE(8-OHM)SYSTEM:
The Diva™ 8 features an internal line-matching transformer with a switch to congure the system
in the most suitable way. For low impedance systems turn the tap selector to the 8-ohm position.
Keep in mind the capability of the amplier working safely with loads less than 4 Ohms. If you need
more speakers, you would be wise to create a Constant Voltage System that allows the use of
many more speakers with a single channel of amplication.
HIGH-IMPEDANCE/CONSTANT-VOLTAGESYSTEM:
The Diva™ 8 features an internal line-matching transformer with four power/impedance selections
for 70/100-volt line. In speaker systems, anything over 32Ω is considered high impedance. Smaller
wire can be used without excessive power loss.
The switchable power taps are:
• 7.5W, 15W, 30W and 60W (70 volt)
• 15W, 30W, 60W (100 volt)
You connect your speaker cable from the 70v or 100v output of your amplier (or to an external
line transformer if you are using a low impedance amplier and want to use it as a constant voltage
amplier) to the input terminals of the speaker. You will then adjust the wattage of the transformer
using the rotary switch under the logo medallion, to the correct setting.
As you would with any audio system, you gure out how many speakers you want to use and then
divide that into the wattage of your power amplier - you should not exceed that load.
