One (1) Year Limited Warranty Terms and Conditions
This warranty applies to repair or replacement if a product is found to be
defective in material or workmanship. This warranty does not apply to
any damage resulting from commercial, abusive and/or unreasonable
use or supplemental damage. Defects as a result of normal wear and
tear will not be considered manufacturing defects under this warranty.
Read the instruction manual before attempting to use this product.
WindChaser Products, Inc. is not liable for incidental or consequential
damages of any nature. Any implied warranty of merchantability or
fitness for a particular purpose on this product is limited in duration to
the duration of this warranty. Some states do not allow the exclusion or
limitation of incidental or consequential damages or limitations on how
long an implied warranty lasts, so the above limitations or exclusions
may not apply to you. This warranty gives you specific legal rights, and
you also may have other rights which vary from state to state. This
warranty applies only to the original purchaser of this product.

IMPORTANT INSTRUCTIONS
Read and save these important safety instructions before using this unit. When
using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always be followed
including the following:
1) Use this unit only as described in this manual. Other uses not recommended
may cause fire or electric shock.
2) This product is intended for household use ONLY and not for commercial,
industrial or outside use.
3) To protect against electrical shock, do not place unit in window, immerse unit,
plug or cord in water, or spray with liquids.
4) Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or
near children.
5) Unplug the unit from the outlet when not in use, when moving from one
location to another and before cleaning.
6) Do not operate the unit in the presence of explosive and/or flammable fumes.
7) Do not place the unit or any parts near an open flame, cooking or other
heating appliance.
8) Do not operate the unit with a damaged cord, plug, after a malfunction or
if dropped or damaged in any manner.
9) Avoid contact with moving parts.
10) To disconnect, grip the plug and pull it from the wall outlet. Never yank
the cord.
11) The use of attachments is not recommended and may cause hazards.
12) Always use on a dry level surface.
13) Do not operate if the unit housing is removed or damaged.
14) This appliance has a polarized plug (one blade is wider than the other).
To reduce the risk of electric shock, this plug is intended to fit in a
polarized outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet,
reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician.
Do not attempt to defeat this safety feature.
15. WARNING: Do not use this unit with any AC/DC adapter that is not
approved by Windchaser. This may damage the unit or cause a hazard.
16. FOR INDOOR USE ONLY
SAVE THESE INSTRUCTIONS
1. Turn the control to “OFF” and unplug the unit before cleaning.
2. Use only a soft, damp cloth (not dripping wet) to clean the exterior.
A vacuum or can of compressed air can be used to clean the interior.
DO NOT OPEN THE UNIT HOUSING. Spray air through the side and
front grills with the can of compressed air to loosen dust, then vaccum inside
and around the unit.
NOTE: Can of compressed air can be purchased at a local computer store or
any store that sells computer accessories.
3. Do not immerse the unit in water and never allow water to drip into
the housing.
4. Do not use gasoline, paint thinner or other chemicals to clean the unit.
5. Store the unit in it’s original box in a cool, dry place.
NOTE: If a problem is experienced, please return the unit to the place
of the original purchase or see the warranty. To avoid electric shock,
do not open the unit housing. There are no user-serviceable parts inside.
Any repair work must be done by a qualified technician appointed by
WindChaser Products. Opening the unit housing may void the
warranty and cause damage to the unit or personal injury.
CLEANING AND STORAGE
1. Always turn the unit to the “OFF” position when not in use.
2. Avoid using the AC/DC power adapter in wet or damp places,
and position it in areas where the air ventilation is good.
3. Keep the front inlet and the top outlet grills free from air blocking
materials such as clothing, plastic bags or papers.
4. If the unit has been properly connected and no power is flowing,
contact WindChaser Products Customer Service (see warranty).
5. Always keep the unit at an upright position to avoid water leakage.
6. The thumb should be placed at the top center of the unit while lifting
by the carry handle (7), to avoid tilting. At the same time, the other
hand should hold the base to secure the unit.
MAINTENANCE

1. Plug the DC power jack (12) of the AC/DC power adapter to the DC
power socket (8) on the back of the unit, then connect the AC plug
(14) of the power adapter to an available outlet.
2. Press the “ON/OFF” button (Fig. 1) up to the “ON” position and
the Mini Dehumidifier will begin to operate. The green indicator
light will be illuminated. Listen and feel for the air blowing from
the dry air outlet (6).
3. To switch off the unit, press the “ON/OFF” button (Fig. 2) down
to the “OFF” position.
4. When the water tank (5) is full, the Hydraulic Cut-Off (10) will shut
the unit off automatically and the Yellow Indicator Light (3) will be
illuminated. Press the “ON/OFF” button to the “OFF” position. Pull
the water tank out of the unit and drain the water through the water
drainage hole (9). Place the tank back into the unit. To continue
dehumidifying, press the “ON/OFF” button to the “ON” position.
