It is a twin tub washing machine, which is developed on basic twin tub platform and
it differs from the AWT 62S model in the following respects:

Escutcheon
?Wash mode selection
There are three basic wash actions viz. Heavy, Normal and Soft.
Rotary knob in the control panel
?Spin time selection
Spin time of 2,3 and 5 minutes can be selected by pressing the "Spin time" button
?Drain Selector
This is a mechanical slide type knob with two positions Wash/Rinse and Drain. When set
at Wash/Rinse position the drain valve attached to the wash tub is closed and thereby
allowing water to be retained in the tub to perform Wash/Rinse. If the knob is pushed to
drain position the drain valve opens and the water is drained out.

?Spin shower
This is also a two position knob with two positions Wash tub and Spin shower. When set
at Wash tub position it allows the water to be filled in the wash tub. When set at Spin
shower position water flows in to the spin tub.
Spin shower option is generally used to aid the soap removal from the clothes. During
this process the clothes are loaded in the spin tub and the knob is set to spin shower
mode. Water is then let into the machine. This water gets sprayed over the clothes in the
spin tub. After two minutes of spraying the water supply needs to be cutoff and the spin
operation is to be continued for another 2 minutes. This removes suds from the clothes
effectively.

INSTALLATION PROCEDURE
?Before installing the machine make sure of the following facilities
?Electrical requirements
A 220 Volts, 5 Amps and 50 Hz, three pin socket with proper earth and fuse is
required.
DO NOT USE EXTENSION CORD WITH THE WASHING MACHINE. SUCH
USE MAY RESULT IN FILE, ELECTRICAL SHOCK OR OTHER PERSONAL
INJURY DUE TO IMPROPER OR INADEQUATE GROUNDING.
?Water source
A water tap suitable to the faucet coupler supplier with the machine is required
(Max. tap diameter 3/4").
?Drain facility
A drain at floor level to drain the used water form the machine by gravity is
required.
?Sturdy floor
The floor must be level and sturdy enough to support the machine weight.
?Installation Procedure
?Check the plug point to which the machine is to be connected for proper
earthing using a multimeter in voltage mode. The meter should read 220 Volts
between line and earth and line and neutral. Also the meter should read zero
volts between earth and neutral. If earthing is not proper advise the customer
to get the same corrected by an electrician before installing the washing
machine
?Cut the straps wound over the machine carton using stripper or a knife.
?Take out the corrugated packing material placed over the machine.
?Pull out the corner posts placed at the corner of the carton one by one.

?Take out the carton from the machine.
?Remove the polythene cover wrapped over the machine.
?Open the machine and take out the fill hose and other accessories from the
machine.
?The machine is on thermocole packing at the bottom, which is to be removed
by lifting the machine and make the machine rest on the castors.
?Move the machine to the place where it is to be installed.
?Connect the power cord to the electrical power supply.
?Operate the machine for one complete cycle and check for proper functioning
of the machine.
?Use the opportunity for giving a washing demonstration to the customer.
