Lire attentivement ce mode d’emploi avant d’utiliser l’appareil pour la première fois et le
conserver pour les utilisations futures.
- Utiliser l’appareil uniquement pour des usages domestiques, et uniquement pour de
l’alimentation, conformément aux indications de ce mode d’emploi.
- Ne jamais plonger l’appareil dans l’eau.
- Ne pas insérer l’appareil dans un micro-ondes.
- Ne pas surcharger la balance en dépassant la capacité maximale de 5kg, le capteur de
pesage risquerait d’être endommagé.
- Ne pas déposer des aliments chauds ou des récipients chauds tels que des casseroles
sur le plateau de pesage.
- Ne pas soumettre l’appareil à toute force excessive.
- Ne pas placer l’appareil à proximité d’un four ou de toute autre source de chaleur
directe.
- Ne pas nettoyer l’appareil avec des produits chimiques abrasifs.
- Ne pas laisser la balance au contact d’aliments aux couleurs prononcées ou d’acides
tels que le zeste d’agrumes, la surface plastique de la balance risquerait d’être
endommagée.
- Ne jamais réparer l’appareil vous-même. Vous perdriez le bénéfice de la garantie.
Comme tout appareil électrique, il doit être réparé par une personne qualifiée.

- In order to save the battery power, switch off the scale when not in
use by pressing the M/A/TARE button during 3 seconds.

- If there is nothing on the scale, it will switch off automatically after 30
seconds.

- Do not immerse the scale in water.
- Wipe over the scale with a damp cloth.
- Do not use abrasive or chemical agents to clean.

- If a negative weight appears (example: « -81 »), press once more the M/A/TARE button.
- If « E » appears on the display, you have overloaded the scale. Remove the weighed item
and press the M/A/TARE again.
- If « Lo » appears on the display, change the battery and take the used ones to a battery
collection point.

fournies. Enlever la languette de protection des
piles située au dos de la balance avant de la
faire fonctionner.

- Press the M/A/TARE button. 88888 appears on the screen, then 0g or 0lb
0oz (depending on the unit of measurement chosen).
- To change the unit of measurement, press the
button G/oz.
TO WEIGH

- Press the M/A/TARE button, 88888 will appear. Wait until 0g or 0lb 0oz appears and then
place the item on the tray. Weight will be
displayed on the screen.
TO ADD AND WEIGH
TO ADD AND WEIGH
- Put the bowl on to the tray and its weight will appear on the screen. Press again
M/A/TARE button and the display will reset to 0g or 0lb 0oz. If you take out the bowl the
screen will show the negative weight of the bowl, press the button M/A/TARE, display
will return to « 0 ».
- Put into the bowl the item to be weighed. Display will show the weight (without the
weight of the bowl).
- This operation can be repeated until the maximum capacity of the scale is reached.

- Appuyer sur le bouton M/A/TARE. L’écran affiche 88888 et puis 0g ou 0lb
0oz (selon l’unité de mesure choisie).
- Pour changer l’unité de mesure,
appuyer sur le bouton G/oz.

- Appuyer sur le bouton M/A/TARE pour allumer la balance.
- Lorsque l’affichage indique « 0 », placer
l’élément à peser sur le plateau. Le poids
s’affiche sur l’écran.
AJOUT ET PESÉE

- Placer le bol vide sur le plateau de pesage. L’afficheur indique le poids du bol.
- Appuyer sur le bouton M/A/TARE et l’afficheur indique de nouveau « 0 ».
- Si vous retirez le bol du plateau, l’afficheur indique le poids du bol en négatif. Appuyez
sur le bouton M/A/TARE, l’afficheur indique de nouveau « 0 ».
- Placer l’ingrédient à peser dans le bol.
- L’afficheur indique le poids des ingrédients uniquement (sans le poids du bol).
- Vous pouvez maintenant ajouter le prochain ingrédient à peser. Cette opération peut être
répétée jusqu’à ce que la capacité maximale soit atteinte.

READ ALL THESE INSTRUCTIONS CAREFULLY BEFORE USING THIS PRODUCT.

- Do not leave the scale in contact with strongly coloured food or acid as the zest from
citrus fruits, the surface could be damaged.
- Should interventions be made by a non-qualified person, guarantee conditions would be
cancelled. As all electrical products, a competent electrician must repair it.
