Belangrijke aanwijzing voor de inbouw!
Deze cilinder is uitgerust met een vocht-
bescherming tegen tijdelijke onderdompeling
(IP67). Controleer voordat u de buitenkap
monteert of de afdichtingsringen niet beschadigd
zijn.
Voor een goede werking van de cilinder dient
de gebruiker na de montage van de cilinder
deze te controleren. De buitenknop mag niet
aanlopen tegen het beslag.
De bevestigingsschroef moet volgens SKG
normen 10mm langer zijn dan de doornmaat van
het te gebruiken slot. De beiliegened schroef
mag alleen worden gebruikt tot een doornmaat
van 55mm.
Bij toepassing in houten deuren dient een anti-
manipulatie voorziening worden aangebracht.

Important installation information!
This cylinder has got a protection against temporary
submersion (IP67).
Ensure that the cylinder is well closed and that the
gaskets are well.
The user has to make sure that the door is correctly
locked and the outside knob is coupled out after the
usage of the cylinder.
The cylinder fixing screw must be 10mm longer
than the backset of the used lock. The included
screw may only be used for locks with a backset
up to 55mm.
In case of application in wooden doors must an
anti-manipulation protection be mounted.
Montage van de batterij
1. Het montagegereedschap achter de knop
plaatsen en de kap tegen de richting van de
klok opendraaien. De knopkap aftrekken.
2. De batterij inleggen (op de polen volgens de in
de behuizing geprinte tekst aanbrengen)
3. De knopafdekking over de knop schuiven.
Daarbij op de correcte positie van de
codeerneus letten.
4. Met het montagegereedschap de moer
vasthouden en de knopkap in de richting van
de klok vastdraaien.
Belangrijke aanwijzing voor de inbouw van
de batterij
De cilinder werkt met een batterij maximum 3-4 jaar (bij
gering gebruik per dag) resp. tot 80.000 sluitingen(< 3
jaar, binnenshuis bij kamertemperatuur). Buiten resp. bij
lage temperaturen is de levensduur van de batterij
geringer. Batterijen zijn producten wiens kwaliteit en
levensduur aan schommelingen onderhevig zijn.
Deze producten zijn niet de verantwoordelijkheid van de
firma WILKA Schließtechnik GmbH.
Om de correcte werking van de cilinder te garanderen,
moet de eindgebruiker zich verzekeren dat er voldoende
spanningsverzorging is, en dit ook te controleren.
Bij afnemende batterijspanning weerklinkt tijdens de
bediening een akoestisch intervalsignaal. De batterij moet
dan onmiddellijk vervangen worden.
Uitsluitend nieuwe batterijen gebruiken.
Let op: valt de batterij volledig uit blijft de cilinder in de
laatste technische staat (gesloten of open). De gebruiker
moet zich na elke sluiting ervan overtuigen dat de
buitenste cilinderknop weer vrij gedraaid kan worden.
Aanbevolen batterijtype:
Duracell CR2
Bij andere batterijtypes kan de levensduur soms
aanzienlijk geringer zijn.
Montage van de cilinder
Een niet geprogrammeerde cilinder werkt op alle Mifare
ID codes. Voor de montage dient de cilinder eerst
geïnitialiseerd te worden via de software. (zie ook het
gebruikershandboek voor de programmeersoftware).
Daarna vindt de montage als volgt plaats:
1. De batterij, zoals in het vorige hoofdstuk
onder punt 2-4 beschreven, aanbrengen
2. De cilinder vanaf de buitenkant in het deurblad
steken (de cilinder moet eenvoudig ingeschoven kunnen
worden). De M5-bevestigingsschroef moet zorgvuldig
handmatig met een courant in de handel verkrijgbare
schroevendraaier (geen accuschroevendraaier)
ingeschroefd worden. Daarna moet gecontroleerd
worden of de sluitneus soepel werkt !!
3. De mechanische binnenknop op de as steken en
centreren.
4. De mechanische binnenkop op de cilinderas
bevestigen door de stifttap met een L- sleutel in te
draaien.

Battery replacement
1. Place the mounting tool at the backside of the knob
and turn the knob cap counter clockwise to release
the cap. Then pull off the metal cover from the
knob.
2. Insert the battery into the knob. Please take care
that the polarity of the battery (+/-) is like printed in
the battery case.
3. Place the metal cover back on the knob and make
sure that the mark is in the right position.
4. Use the mounting tool to hold the nut and turn the
cover clockwise on the knob.
Important information for the battery usage
The cylinder is designed to work with one battery for a
maximum of 3-4 years (with less openings a day) or up to
80.000 openings (< 3 years, indoor use, room
temperature). For outdoor usage the lifetime of the battery
may be less especially with low temperatures.
Batteries are products whose quality and durability are
subject to enormous fluctuations. These products are not
the responsibility of WILKA Schließtechnik GmbH.
To ensure the proper functioning of the cylinder, the end-
user must ensure adequate power supply and control. In
case of decreasing battery voltage an acoustic signal is
heard during operation. It is necessary to replace the
battery immediately.
Please use only new batteries (note the expiry date of the
batteries).
Caution: in case of total failure of the battery the cylinder
will remain in the last technical condition (closed or open).
After closing operation the user has to insure himself that
the outer cylinder knob turns freely.
Recommended battery:
Duracell CR2
Batteries from other manufactures may have a shorter life
cycle.
Assembling the cylinder
A new cylinder will give access to all ID media presented
to it. Please prepare the cylinder’s no. with the
programming software and load the locking plan to the
cylinder before installing it into the door. (see also the
manual of the Programming Software)
Follow the instructions below for proper assembly :
1. Insert battery as described in the previous chapter
point 2-4.
2. Insert the cylinder through the door from outside
and fix it with M5 screw to the door hand-tight.
3. Add mechanical knob to axis and adjust it.
4. Fix the inside knob by turning in the headless screw
with the L- tool.
