Introduction
Thank you for purchasing this quality product. To minimize the risk of injury by means of fire or
electric shock we urge that our clients take some basic safety precautions when using this
device. Please read the operation instructions carefully and make sure you have understood its
content.
Always use a grounded power connection with the appropriate mains voltage. You can find the
corresponding mains voltage on the type plate. If you have any doubts about the connection being
grounded, have it checked by a qualified professional. ever use a faulty electric cable.
Do not inspect the electrical part of the pressure pond filter in a wet or damp environment or when you
are wet yourself and protect it from direct sunlight. Install this device in a safe location so that nobody
can step on the cable, fall over or damage it. Disconnect the power plug before cleaning it and use
only a damp cloth for cleaning. Avoid using cleaning agents and make sure that no liquid enters the
electrical part of the pump.
The electric part of the device contains no parts that can be inspected or serviced by the user. Leave
the maintenance, adjustment and repair to qualified technical personnel. In case of unauthorised
intervention the 2-year warranty is no longer valid! Keep these operation instructions safe.

OPERATION MANUAL
SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Your safety and the safety of others is important to us. Please follow all safety instructions and warn-
ings outlined in this manual, on the product and product packaging. Please read this manual in its
entirety before attempting to operate the shredder.
1) KEEP CHILDREN AND PETS A AY FROM THE SHREDDER. SERIOUS INJURY COULD
OCCUR.
2) Read all instructions before use. Save these instructions for future reference.
3) ever insert your hand or fingers into the shredder feed opening. Serious injury could occur.
4) This shredder is intended to shred paper, CD/DVD, credit card and staples only. Do not shred
paper clips or other hard materials. Do not shred labels or envelopes. Doing so will damage
the cutting system.
5) Do not use for heavy or commercial use. Do not exceed the recommended shred capacity. Do
not shred continuous forms. Do not operate for extended periods of time.
6) The shredder should never be places near or over a radiator, heat register or water.
7) Always turn off and unplug the shredder prior to moving, cleaning, servicing or any other ac-
tion other than normal operation.
8) The housing may be cleaned with a soft, damp cloth. Do not use solvents, degreaser or any
other chemical to clean the shredder. Unplug before cleaning!
9) Do not alter or deface the shredder or its housing in any way. Doing so could cause injury and/
or void the warranty.
10) Do not remove warning stickers / labels from the shredder.
11) Do not rest any object on the power cord. Do not place shredder in an area where persons
may walk on the power cord.
12) If an extension cord is used, ensure that the total ampere ratings of the products plugged into
the extension cord do not exceed the extension cord ampere rating. The total of all items
plugged into the wall outlet must not exceed 15 amperes.
13) Socket outlet should be installed near by the machine and should be easily accessible.
14) The power cord serves as the disconnect function for the shredder. Please be sure the cord is
easily accessible at all times. The power cord cannot be replaced. If the cord is damaged in
any way, the shredder should be discarded immediately.
15) Do not attempt to service the shredder yourself. Opening and/or removing covers could ex-
pose you to dangerous voltage points and/or other serious risks. This action will also void the
shredder warranty.
16) Use only approved shredder lubricant and cleaning products. Do not use common household
cleaners, lubricants or alcohol on or near the shredder. Do not use aerosols or any product
marked flammable. Some agents may combust causing serious injury.
17) ever use any type of compressed air or air dusters to clean the shredder housing, basket,
feed entry or shredder head. This might lead to serious injuries. Do not use any product that is
marked flammable.
18) This shredder should only be operated with an operator in attendance.
19) Empty the waste receptacle frequently for smooth, trouble-free operation.
20) The waste basket should not be tilted more than 10 degrees when emptying.

ARNINGS
1) Do not shred continuously for more than 3 minutes.
2) Do not use solvents, cleaning degreasers or any other chemicals to clean the shredder.
3) Shred paper, CD/DVD, credit cards and staples only.
4) Do not exceed the shredder intake capacity.
5) Avoid touching the document feed opening with hands or other body parts. ever insert hand
or fingers into the opening.
6) Always unplug the shredder before removing excess paper shreds/debris from the head or be-
fore performing any other action than normal shredding. Always unplug the shredder and
make sure the main switch is in “off” position while not in use to prevent any possible acci-
dents.
7) Do not operate the unit with a power damaged power supply cord.
8) Do not use compressed air or spray any liquid into the shredder. Doing so could be haz -
ardous.
9) Product is not intended for use by children (product is not a toy). Keep children and pets away
from the shredder at any time.
10) Avoid hair touching the document feed opening. Keep hair/face away from the opening!
11) Keep aerosol products away from the shredder. Do not use flammable, petroleum-based or
aerosol cleaners on or near this product. Some agents may combust causing serious injury.
12) Avoid contact of your clothes with the feed opening. Keep personal and loose objects (jew-
ellery, ties, etc.) away from the feed opening.

OPERATION
SHREDDING
1) Plug the shredder into the electrical outlet.
2) Slide the power switch into the auto position (to the right).
3) To shred paper or credit card: insert straight into the intake throat.
4) Empty the paper bin frequently to avoid jams.
For all safety purposes, always turn of the shredder when not in use.
EMPTYING PAPER BIN
The shred level in the bin should be checked frequently to avoid jams and damaging to the cutter
mechanism.
1) Slide the power switch into the off position and unplug the cord from the electrical outlet.
2) Lift the shredder head by the handles to remove from paper bin. Empty contents into the trash
or recycle bin.
3) Securely place the shredder head back on the paper bin.
4) Plug the power cord back into the electrical outlet and slide the power switch into the auto po-
sition to resume normal operation.
OVERHEATING
The overheat indicator will turn red and the machine will shut off if the motor becomes too hot
after shredding for more than 2 minutes.
Let the shredder cool until the overheat indicator turns off (about 30 minutes).
Turn the shredder OFF and O again and continue shredding as normal.
CLEARING A JAM
The shredder will automatically stop when a jam occurs.
To clear jam:
◦Move the power switch to the reverse position (to the left).
◦Grasp the excess paper.
◦Pull paper out.

◦Move the power switch to the auto position.
◦Let shredder run for about 5 seconds.
▪If jam does not clear, move the power switch to the reverse position and run for five
seconds. Repeat this procedure until the jam is cleared.
▪If the jam still does not clear, unplug the machine and remove paper manually.

implemented in the law related to electrical and electronic equipment and appliances.
All WilTec electric devices that fall under the WEEE regulations are labelled with the crossed-out
wheeled waste bin logo. This logo indicates that this electric equipment must not be disposed with the
domestic waste.

Disposal of used electrical and electronic appliances
(intended for use in the countries of the European
Union and other European countries with a separate
collection system for these appliances).
The logo on the article or on its packaging points out
that this article must not be treated as normal
household waste but must be disposed to a recycling
collection point for electronic and electrical waste
equipment. By contributing to the correct disposal of
this article you protect the environment and the health
of your fellow men. Environment and health are
threatened by inappropriate disposal.
Materials’ recycling helps reduce the consumption of raw materials.
