•When using the Jackhammer, always make sure to wear antiskid footwear, safety glasses,
hearing protection as well as appropriate work clothes. Further, a dust mask and safety helmet
should be worn, if the Jackhammer is being operated for a longer period of time.
•Always operate the Jackhammer with both hands and make sure to have a safe stand at any
given point.
•Do not smoke while using the machine and do not operate it, if you are under the influence of
alcohol, drugs or medicine.
•Always start out at a slow pace and steadily increase the same in order to minimize the strain
on the Jackhammer as well as the risk of accident.
•Keep bystanders out of the Jackhammer's working area as its usage may cause fragments,
gravel or rubble to be flung around.
•A medium speed setting of 3 or 4 is recommended as it allows for ideal results to be achieved
•Do not apply pressure to the machine as it is used and instead utilize its own weight. High
efficiency and ideal results do not require expenditure of energy.
•Always make sure to keep the handles dry, clean and free from oil and fuel residue.
•Make sure to stop the engine whenever you take a break or finish working.
•Always ensure that all screws are tightened properly before each usage. If a screw should be
loose, make sure to tighten it before operating the device.
•It is prohibited to use pure petrol (without oil for two-stroke engines) as fuel for the
Jackhammer. Therefore, always make sure to stick to the mix ratio for petrol and two-stroke
engine oil found in this manual.
•The Jackhammer's fuel should only be replenished in well ventilated areas and far away from
ignition sources as petrol is extremely flammable. Always make sure to stop the engine and to
allow the machine to cool down before refuelling it. Be careful not to overfill the tank and do
not store the fuel tank close to the machine. If fuel should spill, remove the residue or wait for
it to volatilize before starting the engine.
•Always ensure to properly close the tank cap after fueling the Jackhammer and check the tank
cap as well as the tank itself for signs of damage or wearing. In case of the tank or its cap
being damaged or worn out, make sure to replace the affected parts before turning the device
on again.
•Only store fuel in areas without ignition sources that could cause fire, explosions or sparks.
•When using the Jackhammer in closed working areas, make sure use a sufficient supply of
fresh air in form of a fan, air pipe or smoke outlet as the exhaust fumes contain dangerous
carbon monoxide.
•Avoid rapid acceleration as well as abrupt deceleration as the strain of these drastic changes
in working speed might damage the device.
