FireWIN pellet flue-connected boiler
InfoWINplus
The lighting/display is initially switched on for 10 min. by briefly pressing a button. The corresponding function
is then started by pressing the button again.

Pressing the corresponding menu button enables the boiler to be operated with 30 % (= part load) or 100 % output.
The operating time is reset to 45 min. when the Manual operation / chimney sweeper function button is pressed
again.
Chimney sweeper function
Starting: Briefly press the Manual operation / chimney sweeper funktion button (the lighting/display is switched
on), press the button again briefly, the boiler temperature is set to about 60 °C for 45 min.
Removing ash and cleaning boiler and burner
Note!
The ash may be loaded with heavy metals. Heavy metals may affect soil fertility. Ash is not therefore
suitable as a fertiliser and should be disposed of with residual waste.
Attention!
Do not open the combustion chamber door during operation. Always switch the boiler off first with
the ON/OFF button and wait until burnout mode has finished.
Risk of fire if ash hasn‘t cooled! Store ash in lockable and non-combustible container on non-
combustible base for at least 48 hours.

The “Clean boiler and burner” cleaning request is displayed

The FireWIN is equipped with a cleaning interval display. The cleaning request for the combustion chamber and
burner pot is displayed on the InfoWINplus and must be reset after cleaning has finished.
Cleaning:
a) Take out the baffle plate and remove the ash.
b) Clean fly ash off the temperature sensor with a cleaning brush.
c) Cleaning the down chute.
d) Clean burner pot.
e) Empty the ash pan(s) or remove the ash from the heating surface duct.
f) Check that there is not too much dust in the FireWIN reserve supply container and that there is no bridge for-
mation – remove the dust.

Removing ash
FireWIN Klassik and Premium approx. every 400 kg pellets or FireWIN Exklusiv approx. every 1200 kg pellets
a) Connect the heating surface cleaning lever (FireWIN Klassik/Premium only) and move it backwards and for-
wards several times.
b) Empty the ash pan(s) or remove the ash from the heating surface duct.

Resetting the cleaning request
After the combustion chamber and burner pot have been cleaned, the operating hours counter for boiler cleaning
must be reset.

Press the Reset button or switch on the boiler at
the InfoWINplus. Wait for the self-test to finish,
press the Menu button and change to operator le-
vel. Select the „Boiler cleaning“ sub-menu in the
operator level and confirm by pressing Yes. The
counter is reset.
