Battery Maintenance:

When cleaningbatteries use a solutionof baking
sodaandwater. (Do not allow cleaningfluidto enter
inside batterycells.)
2.) Keepa properelectrolytelevelinbatterycells.
3.)
Wipe downthe batterytops at least once a
week.
If
a
cell
shouldaccidently overflow, clean
immediately.
4.)
Test batteryconditionwith a hydrometerat least
once as week.
5.)
Ensurethat allconnectionsare tight andthat all
corrosionis removed.
6.) Every
4
to 6 months remove batteriesfrom the
machineandcleanthe batterycompartment.

Always chargethe batteries beforeoperating.

Use
a 36 volt, 20 amp maximumoutput, D.C.
charger which turns itself off, when the batteries are
fully charged. The charger must have a connector
that matchesthe machines batteryconnection.
2.)
Readthe instructionsandwarnings providedby
the batterycharger manufacturer.
3.)
Setthe charger inawell ventilatedareaon a
lev

surface. Makesure cords will easily reach outlets
on bothmachineandwall.
4.)
Connect charger to
D.C.
outlet on machine
first.
5.)
Connectthe
A.C.
power cordto properly
groundedwallsocket.
