WHERE TO USE

UV+SYSTEM
•Position the humidifier at least 30 cm away from walls and appliances to
prevent them from getting wet.
•Place the humidifier on a table or desk. Do not place it directly on the
floor or carpet.
•DONOTplacetheunitagainstwallsorobjectsorinareaswithpoorair
circulation. Doing so may result in improper readings produced by the
built-in humidity sensor.
•lf used in a closed (sealed) room without proper ventilation and no
heat exchange with outside air, water collection can occur when
the humidified air touches the cold surface. In such cases, it is
recommended to use in a lower mist level.

CONTROL PANEL
01. Power Button
•Plug unit into a AC 220V - 240 V electrical outlet.
Press the power button to turn unit on.
•If there is no water inside, the power button does not
work.
02. Warm Mist Setting
•To change the mist temperature from cool to warm
mist, press the warm mist button.
•Warm humidification mode is always OFF and is
heated only when the user operates the button.
03. Night Mood Light
•Press the Night Mood Light Display Button once to
turn on the Night Mood Light. The light at the bottom
of the water tank will turn on, illuminating the tank.
•The brightness of the light should be switched
OFF > 100% > 50% > 20% > OFF > Display light Off.
04. programmable Auto-Off Timer
•Keeppressingtheprogrammabletimerbuttonuntil
the desired timer setting is lit on the display.
•The programmable timer button will cycle through the
following settings: 0 hours, 2 hours, 4 hours, 8 hours,
and 12 hours. To cancel the timer at any time, press
the timer button until 0 hours is shown on the display.

05. Programmable Humidistat
•The default humidistat setting is CO. (continuous) The
programmable humidistat can be set in 5% increments,
from 40% to 60% humidity.
•Manual humidity is set in 40% > 45% > 50% > 55% > 60%
> CO order.
NOTE: When the set humidity level is reached, the
humidifier will cycle off until the humidity in the room
drops 5% below the set humidity level, then will cycle on
until the set humidity level is reached again.
06. Adjustable Mist Level
•Mistadjustsfromthelowestoutputtothehighest
output.
•The corresponding mist level will be lit on the display.
Each press will increase by one.
•Once you reach level 5, it will repeat at level 1.
07. LightCel™ (UV+)
•Displays the operation status of the UV-C LED that
sterilizes the flow path of the reservoir.
•Power of the product is activated and turned off when
no water is detected.
NOTE: LightCel

Technology Removes bacteria*
present in water, Ensuring a safe and sanitized mist for
you and your family.

08. Warm Light
•If you select warm humidification, it turns on.
09. Timer/Display Light
•When a time reservation is set, it turns on and displays
the time on the display.
10. Empty Tank Alarm
•If there is not enough water, the unit will stop and the
red LED indicator will continue to blink at the same
time.
11. Mist Level Indicator
•Displays the humidity level and goes up one step each
time the humidity level button is pressed.

•When the tank is empty, the unit will shut off
automatically.
Demineralization Capsules
•The Winix demineralization capsule will help reduce
the potential for white dust; a deposit of minerals left
behind from using hard water in your humidifier.
Installation Instructions:
1. Open the Water Tank Cap and fill the tank with water
up to 'Max'.
2. Remove demineralization capsule from the package.
3. Put the capsule into the tank and wait for 10 minutes.
4. Demineralization capsule cannot be reused. If you
want to place an order of our demineralization
capsule, please visit www.winixeurope.eu.
Pre-Soaked Aroma Pads & Aroma Pad Tray
•Includes 2 Pre-Soaked Aroma Pads. Use your favorite
essential oil to deliver aroma into the air.
Installation Instructions:
1. Turn off the humidifier.
2. Push the Oil Tray at the back of the base and pull it
out.
3. Tear the pouch at the notch to expose pad, insert pad
into the Aroma Tray.
4. Enjoytherefreshingaroma!Thescentlastsupto48
hours (2 full days).
CAUTION
1 ) Contact with exposed pad may cause eye irritation.
In case of contact with eyes, flush with water immediately.
If eye irritation persists, consult with a doctor.
2) If you want to remove the aroma pad or if the humidifier
has not been operating for a long time, clean and dry the
tray and put it back in place.
3) Never put the aroma pad in the water tank.

MAINTENANCE AND CLEANING
Read all instructions before installation and use
•Always place humidifier on a firm, flat surface.
A waterproof mat or pad is recommended for under
the humidifier. A finished floor may be damaged by
water or moisture exposure.
•Do not reach for a unit that has fallen into water.
Unplug it immediately.
•Always unplug the unit from the electrical outlet
immediately after using and before cleaning.
•Do not place or store the unit where it can fall or be
pulled into a tub or sink.
Wash the nozzle, cover separately, and let tank dry
in the shade
•Clean tank at least once or twice a week using clean
water.
•Naturally occurring stains inside the tank can be
cleaned using a soft cloth.
•Do not use chemicals such as bleach, abrasive, etc. to
clean.
Cleaning the ultrasonic transducer
•Clean the ultrasonic module of
the humidifier at least once or
twice a week.
•Tilt it in the direction of the air
hinge when disposing of
the water in the main body.
•Do not allow water into this
opening (air outlet).
•Never touch the transducer/ultrasonic membrane with
your fingers; the natural oil and cosmetics in the skin
can damage the surface.
•Never clean the ultrasonic membrane by scraping with
ahardobject.Scratchingthesurfaceofthevibrator
withasharpobjectmaycausetheMistOutputto
weaken or cause failure.
•Never submerge the base in water or any other liquid.
•In general, if the user touches the transducer/
ultrasonic membrane with their fingers, the natural oil
and cosmetics on the skin can damage the surface,
resulting in irregular mist output.
In order to have the unit run properly after this occurs,
you need to:
1. Wash the water tank and the base 2 ~ 3 times and
then restart the unit. In case the unit is not washed,
the unit will operate normally after running for 30 min
~ 1 hour on continuous mode.
2. If the water is not enough, the mist may not be
generated properly. (This may be a defect in the air
hinge or water valve) There should be at least 30 mm
of water in the base after removing the water tanks.
Guide bracket silencer
•Press down on the hook and lift it up.
•It is best to wash off with clean, running water.
•Dry and refit.
Deep cleaning (with vinegar)
•Before and after storing the humidifier for a long period
of time, be sure to dry the Mist Output completely and
wipe clean.
•Clean the tank, reservoir, tank cap, and transducer/
ultrasonic membrane with a 10:1 ratio mixture of
water and white vinegar.
•Fill the tank with diluted vinegar water to the maximum
level.
•Put roughly 400 ml of mixed water into the main body.
•Fill the water tank and main body with water and leave
for 30 to 60 minutes.
•Pour out mixed water and rinse with clean tap water
2 to 3 times.
•Dry the parts in a well-shaded place.
•Please reassemble the dried product.

INITIAL OPERATION
CAUTION: Before filling the tank with water, turn the power off and unplug the unit from the outlet.
NOTE: Always use 2 hands to carry the water tank.
1. Remove the water tank cap to fill the tank.
The convenient top-fill tank can be filled with a
pitcher or at the faucet.
2. Lift the water tank from the base by using the handle
located on the back of the unit.
3. Fill the tank with clean, room temperature water until
the water level reaches the MAX fill mark.
4. The water tank holds a maximum of 7.5 Liters.
Water level is visible from outside.
5. Plug in to outlet and turn appliance on. Always add
water to unit before connecting to power to avoid
burning the unit.
6. Always operate the humidifier with the tank cover
seated on the tank. Refill the water tank to continue
using the humidifier.
Replacing Aroma Pads
•Pre-Soaked Aroma Pads last 48 hours each.
•There are two Pre-Soaked Aroma Pad scents:
1 lavender and 1 eucalyptus.
Please don't put any other materials other than
Aroma Pads.

•This product is intended for household use only.

•Always keep the cord away from high temperature and

•Perform regular maintenance on the ultrasonic
membrane.
•Never use detergent to clean the ultrasonic membrane.

•Stop the unit if there is an unusual noise or smell.
•Unplug this unit when not in use for a long period of
time.
•Do not touch the water or any part of the unit that is

•Only use water in the tank.
•Never use any additives in the water.

children to use this unit without supervision.
•Do not use outdoors. For indoor use only.

or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a

Do not pull on the power cord when unplugging
the unit.
Do not tie or knot the power cord while unit is in
operation.
If the unit becomes submerged in water, unplug it
and contact customer service.
Do not unplug or move the unit while in operation.
Do not plug additional appliances into the same
outlet or power supply.
Do not touch the plug with wet hands.
Unplug the unit when not in operation for extended
periods of time.
Do not place around heating elements.
Do not use around mist or fumes from industrial oil
or around large quantities of metallic dust.
The cord can become damaged by forcefully
bending, pulling, twisting, bundling, pinching or
placingheavyobjectsonit.
Do not install in any sort of motor or transport
vehicle. (trucks, boats, ships, etc)
Do not place in an area with excessive amounts of
noxious gases.
Do not place near any flammable materials.
(aerosols, fuel, gases, etc)
Do not have the unit facing into wind or drafts.
Do not place below any electrical outlet.
Do not place in excessively humid areas where
the unit may become wet.
To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock,
do not use this fan with any solid-state speed
control device.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
Thank you for purchasing a Winix Ultrasonic Humidifier. This product is for household use only.
Please read all instructions carefully before operating.
•Do not repair or modify the unit. All repairs should be
completed by a qualified technician.
•Do not use if the power cord or plug is damaged or
the connection to the wall outlet is loose.
•Use AC 220 V - 240 V only.
•Do not damage, break, forcefully bend, pull, twist, bundle,
coat,pinch,orplaceheavyobjectsonthepowercord.
•Periodically remove dust from the power plug. This will
reduce the risk of shock due to humidity build up.
•Remove the power plug from the outlet before cleaning
the unit. When removing the power plug, grasp by holding
the plug itself, never hold by the cord.
•If the power plug is damaged, it must be replaced by
the manufacturer or a qualified technician.
•Remove the power plug from the outlet when not in use.
•Do not handle the power plug with wet hands.
•Do not operate the unit when using indoor smoke-
generating insecticides.
•Do not clean unit with benzene or paint thinner. Do not
spray insecticides on the unit.
•Do not use the unit where it is humid or where the unit
may become wet, such as the bathroom.
•Donotinsertfingersorforeignobjectsintotheairintake
or outlet.
•Do not use the unit near flammable gases. Do not use
near cigarettes, incense, or other spark-creating items.
•Unit will not remove carbon monoxide emitted from
heating appliances or other sources.
Pressing the power button does not work
•Insert the power plug carefully.
•Check to see if there is water in the water tank. If not, add
water to the tank.
There's no steam coming out
•Is the water tank empty?
-Please fill the tank with water more than halfway.
•Is the nozzle and cover well seated?
-Please install the cover correctly.
•Please clean the ultrasonic module.
It has a strong odor
•Make sure the inside of the humidifier and the water tank
is not contaminated.
-Clean the inside of the main body and the water tank.
•Did you leave water in the water tank and humidity
reservoir for an extended period?
-Dispose the remaining water from the main body and
the water tank from previous use. Refill the water tank
with new tap water.
The Empty Tank Alarm isn't turning off
•Is this happening right after you set up the water tank?
-After a few moments, the water in the water tank fills
the reservoir and the Empty Tank Alarm turns off.
•Is it tilted?
-Drain the water inside the humidifier and place it on a
flat, stable surface.

COMMANDES
01. Touche Power
•Brancher l’appareil à une prise électrique de 220
-240voltsCA.AppuyersurlatouchePowerpour

04. Minuterie d’arrêt automatique
programmable

Instructions d’installation :
1. Ouvrir le capuchon de réservoir d’eau et remplir le
réservoiravecdel’eaujusqu’aurepère«Max».
2. Ôter la capsule de déminéralisation de l’emballage.
3. Placer la capsule dans le réservoir et attendre 10
minutes.
4. La capsule de déminéralisation ne peut pas être
réutilisée. Si vous souhaitez passer une commande

Compresses d’arôme pré-humidifiées et Plateau
pour compresse d’arôme
•Inclut 2 compresses d’arôme pré-humidifiées. Utiliser
votre huile essentielle préférée pour en diffuser l’arôme
dans l’air.
Instructions d’installation :
1. Éteindre l’humidificateur.
2. Pousser le plateau d’huile à l’arrière du socle, puis
l’extraire.
3. Déchirer la pochette au niveau de la rainure pour
libérer la compresse, introduire la compresse dans le
plateau d’arôme.
4. Profitezdel’arômerafraîchissante!
L’odeurdurejusqu’à48heures(2jourscomplets).
ATTENTION
1) Tout contact avec la compresse nue risque d’irriter
les yeux. En cas de contact avec les yeux, les rincer
immédiatement. Si l’irritation persiste, consulter un
médecin.
2) Si vous souhaitez retirer la compresse d’arôme ou si
l’humidificateur n’a pas fonctionné depuis un certain
temps, nettoyer et sécher le plateau et le remettre en
place.

MAINTENANCE ET NETTOYAGE
Lire toutes les instructions avant installation et utilisation
•Toujoursplacerl'humidificateursurunesurfacerigideet
plane. Un tapis ou revêtement étanche est recommandé
sous l'humidificateur. Un sol fini risque d’être endommagé
en étant exposé à l’eau ou à l’humidité.
•Nejamaistenterderécupérerunappareiltombédansl’eau.
Le débrancher immédiatement.
•Toujoursdébrancherl’appareildelapriseélectrique
immédiatement après l’avoir utilisé et avant le nettoyage.
•Ne pas placer ni ranger l’appareil là où il risque de chuter
dans une baignoire ou un évier.
Nettoyer la buse et le couvercle séparément et laisser
sécher le réservoir à l’ombre
•Nettoyer le réservoir au moins une ou deux fois par
semaine à l’eau claire.
•Les tâches d’origine naturelle à l’intérieur du réservoir
peuvent être nettoyées à l’aide d’un chiffon doux.
•Ne pas utiliser des produits chimiques, comme l’eau de
javel,unabrasif,etc.pourlenettoyage.
Nettoyage du transducteur à ultrasons
•Nettoyer le module à ultrasons de
l’humidificateur au moins une ou
deux fois par semaine.
•L’incliner dans le sens du pivot d’air
lors de la mise au rebut de l’eau
dans le corps principal.
•Ne pas introduire d’eau dans cette
ouverture (sortie d’air).
•Nejamaistoucherletransducteur/lamembraneàultrasons
aveclesdoigts;l’huilenaturelleetlescosmétiquesprésents
sur la peau risquent d’en abîmer la surface.
•Nejamaisnettoyerlamembraneàultrasonsenlafrottant
avecunobjetrigide.Gratterlasurfaceduvibrateuravecun
objetpointurisquedefragiliservoiredecasserlasortiede
brume.
•Nejamaisimmergerlesocledansl’eauniaucunautre
liquide.
•En général, si l’utilisateur touche le transducteur / la
membrane à ultrasons avec les doigts, l’huile naturelle et
les cosmétiques présents sur la peau risquent d’en abîmer
la surface, causant la défaillance de la sortie de brume.
Pour que l’unité fonctionne ensuite correctement, vous
devez :
1. Nettoyer le réservoir d’eau et le socle 2 ~ 3 fois au
redémarrage de l’appareil. S’il n’est pas nettoyé, l’appareil
fonctionnera normalement après démarrage pendant 30
min ~ 1 heure en mode continu.
2. Si l’eau n’est pas suffisante, la brume risque de ne pas
être générée correctement. (Cela peut provenir d’un défaut
au niveau du pivot d’air ou de la soupape d’eau)
Il faut prévoir au minimum 30 mm d’eau dans le socle
après avoir retiré les réservoirs d’eau.
Silencieux de support de guide
•Enfoncer le crochet et le soulever.
•Il est préférable de le nettoyer sous l’eau claire.
•Sécher puis reposer.
Nettoyage en profondeur (avec du vinaigre)
•Avant et après avoir rangé l’humidificateur sur une longue
période, laisser sécher la sortie de buse complètement puis
essuyer.
•Nettoyer le réservoir, le récipient, le capuchon de réservoir et
le transducteur/la membrane à ultrasons avec un mélange
au ratio 10 : 1 d’eau et de vinaigre blanc.
•Remplir le réservoir avec de l’eau vinaigrée diluée au niveau
maximum.
•Verser environ 400 ml d’eau mélangée dans le corps
principal.
•Remplir le réservoir d’eau et le corps principal avec de l’eau
et le laisser reposer entre 30 et 60 minutes.
•Verser de l’eau mélangée et rincer à l’eau du robinet claire 2
à 3 fois.
•Sécher les pièces dans un endroit bien ombragé.
•Remonter le produit séché.

FONCTIONNEMENT INITIAL
ATTENTION : Avant de remplir le réservoir avec de l’eau, couper l’alimentation et débrancher l’appareil de la prise.
REMARQUE:Toujoursutiliserles2mainspourporterleréservoird’eau.
1. Retirer le capuchon de réservoir d’eau pour remplir le
réservoir. Pratique, le réservoir peut être rempli par le
haut avec une cruche ou directement au robinet.
2. Soulever le réservoir d’eau du socle à l’aide de la
poignée située à l’arrière de l’unité.
3. Remplir le réservoir avec de l’eau claire et à
températureambiantejusqu’àcequeleniveaud’eau
ait atteint le repère de remplissage MAX.
4. Le réservoir d’eau contient un maximum de 7,5 litres.
Le niveau d’eau est visible de l’extérieur.
5. Brancheràlapriseetallumerl’appareil.Toujours
ajouterdel’eaudansl’unitéavantdebrancher
l’alimentation pour éviter de court-circuiter l’appareil.
6. Toujoursopérerl’humidificateuraveclecouvercle
du réservoir bien en place sur le réservoir.
Remplir le réservoir d’eau pour continuer d’utiliser
l’humidificateur.
Remplacement des compresses d’arôme
•Les compresses d’arôme pré-humidifiées durent
48 heures minimum.
•Il existe deux sortes de compresses d’arôme pré-
humidifiées : 1 lavande et 1 eucalyptus.
Ne pas placer d’autres matériaux que les
compresses d’arôme.

•Ne pas réparer ou modifier l’appareil. Toutes les réparations
doivent être effectuées par un technicien qualifié.
•Ne pas utiliser l’appareil si le câble d’alimentation ou le
connecteur est abîmé ou si la prise murale est mal fixée.
•Utiliser uniquement CA 220 V - 240 V.
•Ne pas abîmer, casser, plier fortement, tirer, tordre,
empaqueter,couvrir,pincer,ouplacerdesobjetslourdssurle
câble d’alimentation.
•Enlever régulièrement la poussière de la prise d’alimentation.
Cela réduira le risque de choc en raison d’une accumulation
d’humidité.
•Débrancher la prise secteur de la prise d’alimentation avant
le nettoyage de l’appareil. Lorsque vous retirez la prise
d’alimentation, saisissez-la en tenant la prise elle-même, ne

-Veuillez installer le couvercle correctement.
•Veuillez nettoyer le module à ultrasons.
Une forte odeur se dégage
•S’assurer que l’humidificateur et le réservoir d’eau ne sont
pas contaminés.
-Nettoyer l’intérieur du corps principal et le réservoir d’eau.
•Avez-vous laissé de l’eau dans le réservoir d’eau et le
récipientd’humiditésurunepériodeprolongée?
-Jeter l’eau restante du corps principal et du réservoir
d’eau après sa précédente utilisation. Remplir le
réservoir en eau du robinet propre.
L’alarme de réservoir vide ne s’éteint pas
•Celaarrive-t-iljusteaprèsavoirconfiguréleréservoird’eau?
-Au bout de quelques instants, l’eau dans le réservoir
remplit le récipient et l’alarme de réservoir vide s’éteint.
•Est-ilincliné?
-Vider l’eau à l’intérieur de l’humidificateur et le placer sur
une surface plane et stable.
