Mount the rack positio-
ning template using the
subframe existing holes
Note: there are two
spacers to use around
the bolts underneath
the sub frame.

Using the template mark
the holes of the cut outs
and clearance holes
underneath.

edge of the cut out
according to the
sharper angle of the
template side

After marking cut the
holes.
Note: there's an inside
wall which shoyld be
modified to have enough
clearance.

Remove the templateas-
semble the steering rack
fasteners to the template
and mount it back again.
Point weld the
fasteners and remove
the template. Note:
grind town the template
point welds to be able
to remove the template.

Seamweld the fasteners
and cut off the rest of the
material including the
holes for template fixing.

IMPORTANT!
6. Checking the clearance
When everything installed check:
1. That the tire wouldn’t rub against wheelwell at full bump through out all
range of steering
2. That the rim and tire wouldn’t rub against spring
3. That the rim wouldn’t rub against tie rod at full lock
4. That the rim wouldn’t rub against A-arm at full lock
5. That the shock shaft top nut and adjuster wouldn’t touch the edges of
the drilled hole
6. If the coilover has an adjuster at the top, then check if it’s not touching
the hood structure, when hood is closed.
7. After alignment check if the tie rod has enough threads inside of the rod end.
