Rocker 440
Air Supply System

This instrument is designed for laboratory usage only. Please read this manual carefully before
installing or operating this equipment. The instrument shall not be modified in any way. Any
modification will void the warranty and may result in potential hazard. We are not responsible for
any injury or damage caused by any non-intended purposes and modifying the instrument without
authorization.
1. Check the voltage specified on the name-plate and ensure it matches the line voltage in your
location.
2. The Compressor is not corrosion-proof. Please do not operate it with corrosive gases directly.
3. Install the instrument in a clean, dust-less and ventilated area under 40℃.
4. To avoid shutdown from overheating, please take a 15-20 minutes break per 30-40 minutes
working when use the pressure function.
5. The filter cartridge is used to absorb moisture and dust. Please replace the cartridge to
maintain proper pumping efficiency when it is saturated.
6. To avoid damaging the Compressor easily, please vent the Compressor before starting the
Compressor.
7. This Compressor has a thermal protection device that automatically shuts-off when it
becomes overheated.
8. The temperature of the surface of Compressor is very high after use or during work, please
don’t touch it to avoid being burnt.
9. Do not use any lubricant, which may damage the Compressor.
10. Never spray flammable or toxic materials.
11. If the supply cord is damaged, Please contact the manufacturer or your service agent for
replacement to avoid hazard.

When unpacking, notice if the Compressor is in good situation. If not, please contact the distributor

Unpacking

Introduction
1 The system consists of a compressor Rocker 420, air tank , drain valve (Regulator)
and moisture trap .
2 Air is pumped into air tank by Rocker 420, then goes through pressure regulator / moisture
trap. After regulating and filtrating, air goes to where you connect.
3 Stain-less steel air tank possesses a Auto stop switch . It is set to turn on when
pressure is lower than 40psi and off when pressure reaches 60psi.
4 Air tank and moisture trap are built in a drain valve . Please open valve to drain the
water away when water is accumulated in the air tank and moisture trap.
Operating procedure
1. Press on/off button to activate the compressor after making sure all tubing are well
connected.
2. To setup pressure, adjust the drain valve (Regulator) .
How to replace cartridge
1. First, remove the moisture trap cup by rotating it counterclockwise. Second, remove the
cartridge in the same way then replace a new one.
2. Pour the water out of the moisture trap cup when it is filled with water.
