WiTi Anti Theft How to use

Anti Theft
Operation &
Installation
Guide
WiTi Anti-Theft System
In the event an attempt is made to steal the caravan or trailer, WiTi detects movement and ini-
tiates anti-theft mode. All the lights ash, the alarm sounds for 30 seconds and the brakes are
applied to bring the caravan or trailer to a complete stop, making it impossible to tow. The brakes
are applied for ve seconds and then released if there is no movement to prevent the battery
from discharging unnecessarily.
To activate the anti-theft press the button on the remote control and the lights will ash once fol-
lowed by a three second safety pause and then two ashes to indicate the system is armed. To
deactivate press the button on the remote control and the lights will ash once.
WiTi incorporates an advanced safety system to ensure the anti-theft system cannot be acci-
dently activated whilst the caravan or camper trailer is being towed. After activating the system,
if movement is detected during the three second safety pause the system will not arm. The lights
will not ash twice and the system must be deactivated again before another arming sequence
is initiated.
On initial power up WiTi Anti-Theft needs to be initialised. To do this press the button on the
remote control and the lights will ash once. The system is now initialised. This only needs to
be done on power up. If power is removed from WiTi Anti Theft then the system needs to be
initialised again.
WARNINGS & SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Anti Theft Installation
The unit must be installed vertically with
the wiring harness protruding from the bottom
of the unit. WiTi uses gravity to initialise the
anti-theft system and if not installed vertically
functionality could be compromised.
WiTi Anti Theft can be installed in any area
that makes practical sense, typically next to
or near the battery in the caravan or trailer.
WiTi can be secured to any at surface using
strong double sided tape.
The horn must be installed at least 1 metre
away from the Trailer Unit and on a di󰀨erent
mounting surface to prevent interference.
The caravan or trailer battery must be
connected to an acceptable charging circuit -
either solar panels, anderson plug or DCDC
charger.
