Lift the lever to allow the paper to move freely. If the
paper comes out at the front in the print area,
carefully tear off and remove the part of the paper
which is jammed; alternatively,remove the paper
from the print mechanism by pulling it upwards.
Alzate la levetta, rimuovete la carta dal meccanismo
di stampa tirandola verso l’alto. Se la carta fuoriesce
davanti nella zona di stampa, occorre prima
strappare
e rimuovere con cura questa parte di carta
inceppata.
Relever le levier pour permettre le passage du
papier. Si le papier sort par l’avant dans la zone
d’impression, l’arracher et retirer avec soin les
parties du papier restées coincées.Dans le cas
contraire, retirer le papier du système d’impression
en le tirant vers le haut.

GB Carefully remove all scraps of paper from the cutter
zone. If you have difficulty in doing so, use
tweezers. DO NOT insert any kind of object inside
the cutter.

FEED and Key PRINT and turn power on at
the same time.
2. The printer should print all list of the
parameters:
- Printer emulation: CITIZEN, MARTEL
- Protocol(1): No Addressable* or Addressable
- Baud Rate(1): 57600, 38400,19200 *,9600,
4800, 2400, 1200.
- Data length(1): 7, 8 bits/chr *.
- Parity(1): None*, even or odd.
- Handshaking(1):XON/XOFF* or Hardware.
- Autofeed: CR disabled* or CR enabled
- Panel keys: Enabled* or disabled.
- Print mode: Normal* or Reverse.
SETUP With “MARTEL“ :
Chars / line: A=32 / B=42 col. * or

select whether the Busy signal is activated
when the printer is both in Off Line status and
the buffer is full, or only if the reception buffer

Einstellen der Emulation
Ab Werk ist die am meist verwendete Emulation MARTEL eingestellt.
Es kann aber auch die Emulation CITIZEN eingestellt werden. Damit kann der Drucker auch an Geräte
angeschlossen werden, die den Martel Treiber nicht beinhalten.
Es sind dies folgende Geräte:
Wicometre Professional, Watch Expert, Watch Expert II, Q Test 6000.
Die Geräte müssen direkt mit dem schwarzen Adapterkabel (Zubehör Nr. 95.13.202) an den Drucker
angeschlossen werden.
Vorgehen
Emulation CITIZEN einstellen:
•Drucker ausschalten.
•
Print
und
Feed
Tasten gedrückt halten und Drucker einschalten. Tasten gedrückt halten bis das
* PRINTER SETUP * ausgedruckt wird.
•Taste
Print
drücken (Printer Emul.: MARTEL) Taste
Print
nochmals drücken (Printer Emul.: CITIZEN).
Taste
Feed
13-mal nacheinander kurz drücken. Dabei nach jedem Drücken der entsprechende
Parameter ausgedruckt (Parameter nicht ändern!). Die Einstellung wird am Schluss mit dem
Ausdruck * PRINTER SETUP * CITIZEN bestätigt.
Emulation MARTEL einstellen:
•Gleiches Vorgehen wie oben beschrieben.

A la livraison l'imprimante est configurée avec l'émulation MARTEL, qui est généralement la plus utilisée.
Il est aussi possible de configurer l'émulation CITIZEN. Par là il est possible de brancher l'imprimante aux
appareils qui ne contiennent pas le pilote Martel.
Concerné sont les équipements:
Wicometre Professional, Watch Expert, Watch Expert II, Q Test 6000.
Les équipements doivent être directement branchés à l’imprimante avec le câble adaptateur noir
(accessoire no. 95.13.202) .
Procédé
Configurer l'émulation CITIZEN:
•Déclencher l'imprimante.
•Tenir les touches
Print
et
Feed
pressées et enclencher l’imprimante. Tenir les touches pressées jusqu'à
ce que * PRINTER SETUP * est imprimé.
•Presser la touche
Print
(Printer Emul. : MARTEL) presser encore une fois la touche
Print
(Printer
Emul. : CITIZEN). Presser brièvement la touche
Feed
13 fois de suite. Le paramètre correspondant est
imprimé à chaque pression (ne pas modifier les paramètres!). À la fin * PRINTER SETUP *
CITIZEN est imprimé pour confirmer la configuration.
Configurer l'émulation MARTEL:
•Même procédure qu’en haut.

Setting the Emulation
The default setting of the printer comes with the MARTEL emulation setting.
It is also possible to set the CITIZEN emulation. This setting allows connecting older, no more produced
equipment’s, which are not fitted out with Martel driver.
It concerns the following equipment’s:
Wicometre Professional, Watch Expert, Watch Expert II, Q Test 6000.
The equipment’s must be directly connected to the printer with the black Adapter Cable (accessory no.
95.13.202).
Procedure
Setting the CITIZENemulation:
•Switch the printer OFF.
•Press and hold the
Print
and
Feed
buttons and switch ON the printer. Keep
Print
and
Feed
buttons
pressed until the * PRINTER SETUP * is printed.
•Press the button

again (Printer Emul.: CITIZEN).

shortly 13 times in succession. After each pressing the appropriate parameter is
printed out (Do not modify Parameters!). Finally the setting is confirmed by with the print out of
* PRINTER SETUP * CITIZEN.
Setting the MARTEL emulation:
•Same procedure as described above.

Di fabbrica è impostata l'emulazione MARTEL, che è la più utilizzata.
Tuttavia può essere impostata anche l'emulazione CITIZEN, che permette di collegare la stampante anche agli
apparecchi non dotati di driver Martel.
Si tratta dei seguenti apparecchi:
Wicometre Professional, Watch Expert, Watch Expert II, Q Test 6000.
Gli apparecchi devono inoltre essere collegati direttamente alla stampante mediante il cavo adattatore nero
(accessorio n° 95.13.202).
Procedura
Impostazione dell'emulazione CITIZEN:
•Spegnere la stampante
•Tenere premuto il tasto

simultaneamente accendere la stampante. Tenere i tasti

Premere il tasto FEED per 13 volte consecutive aspettando pero che dopo ogni volta che viene premuto
il tasto saranno stampati i parametri (essi non devono essere cambiati).
L’emulazione sarà confermata con lo stampo * PRINTER SETUP * CITIZEN.
Impostazione dell'emulazione MARTEL:
•Vedi spiegazioni sopra.
