WICHTIG! Reinigen Sie diesen Bereich mit einem Tuch
und Lösungsmittel (z.B. Aceton) um den vorhandenen
Lacknebel zu entfernen. Ohne diesen Schritt wird die
Frunkdichtung nicht halten!
IMPORTANT! Clean the marked area with a cloth and a
cleaner (e.g. Aceton) to remove the overspray paint.
Without this step the frunksealing will not stick and fall
off again!
Nehmen Sie die beiden Gewebe-Abdeckungen ab.
Kleben Sie an die Frunk Wanne einen Neopren-
Dichtstreifen mittig auf die schrägen Flächen. So, dass
später die Gewebeabdeckungen leicht aufliegen.
Remove the fabric covers on both sides. Stick a
neoprene stripe to all four sloping surfaces of the frunk
box. Stick them in a way that later the fabric covers will
slightly sit on top of them.
Setzen sie die Gewebe-Abdeckungen an beiden Seiten
wieder ein. Diese sollten jetzt auf die Neopren-
Dichtstreifen drücken. An manchen Stellen mehr, an
anderen weniger stark.
Reinstall the fabric covers on both sides. They should
now slightly press lay above the neoprene stripe. On
some areas more on others less firm.
Setzen Sie nun die Frunkdichtung mittig auf die Frunk
Wanne.
Place the frunk sealing in the middle of the frunk box.
Kleben Sie nun das Klettband gemäß der Skizze an die
entsprechenden Stellen des vorderen
Kofferraumdeckels. Als Hilfe können Sie einen Meter
gerade ansetzen um die Stelle leichter zu finden.
Stick the Velcro tape according to the draft to the
specified areas of the front boot flap. You can use a stick
or a ruler and place it straight on the frunk sealing to
better find the correct location.

Drücken Sie die Klettbandstreifen nochmals fest an und
entfernen Sie dann die zweite Folie von allen drei
Streifen. Abstände zur Mitte der Haube:
A = 23,5cm, B = 5,5 cm, C = 15,5 cm
Firmly press down all Velcro tapes to the front boot flap
again and then remove the second protective foil on all
three stripes. Distances to middle of the hood:
A = 23,5 cm, B = 5,5 cm, C = 15,5cm
Zentrieren Sie die Frunkdichtung nochmals so gut es
geht und achten Sie darauf, dass sie auch so weit wie
möglich hinten sitzt. Schließen Sie den vorderen
Kofferraumdeckel dann langsam, kräftig und
vollständig.
Carefully center the frunk sealing once again and try to
place it as far to the back as you can. Then slowly but
firmly close the front boot flap until it is completely
closed.
Lassen Sie die Frontklappe nun geschlossen und warten
Sie mindestens 10 Minuten bevor Sie diese wieder
öffnen, damit der Kleber des Klettbands sich gut
anheften kann.
Keep the front flap closed and wait at least 10 minutes
before you open it again to give the glue of the Velcro
tape time to completely attach to both surfaces.
Nachdem Sie den vorderen Kofferraum wieder geöffnet
haben, drücken Sie nochmals kräftig an den Stellen wo
sich das Klettband befindet und Sie sind fertig. Ihr Frunk
ist nun wasser- und schmutzdicht!
Firmly press the frunk sealing down on the flap in the
areas where the Velcro tape is located after you have
opened up the front boot flap again. Your frunk is now
water- and dirtproof.

Wichtiger Hinweis:
Um das Eindringen jeglicher, kleinster Stäube zu verhindern müssen Sie die
vorhandenen Löcher im Boden und der Front der Frunk Wanne verschließen.
Ansonsten kann weiter sehr feiner Staub eindringen.
Important note:
To seal your frunk against even the finest dust you need to close the holes in the
bottom and the front of the frunk box. Otherwise very fine dust is still able to
enter the frunk while driving.
