2 Assembly of the hand pallet truck with scale
2.1 Assembling hand grip
2.1.1 See Fig 1. Dismantle the spring pin (1) from the local of pin roll (2), and then
pull out the pin roll (2).
Fig 1 Fig 2
2.1.2 Put the hand grip (3) into location A. Couple the hand grip (3) and pump body
(4) with pin roll (2). In the portrait direction, the pin roll (2) should not be
mounted to the end and should turn freely.

3
2.1.3 Turn the pin roll (2), and make sure that the big hole of pin roll is in the
vertical position. Put the chain (5) of hand grip through the middle hole of pin
roll 2. See fig 2.
2.1.4 Take screw nut which is the end of chain (5) and hitch the groove of lever
board (6). See Fig 2 and Fig 5.
2.1.5 Turn the pin roll 2 to the primary position and pull to the end in the portrait
direction. Then put spring pin (1) across pin roll (2) to reset.
2.1.6 See Fig 3. Turn the hand grip to the level position, pull out pin (7) and save pin
(7) with care in order to use next time.
2.1.7 Try to pump the hand grip, and put the operation control handle knob (8) to the
different positions to check the lifting, free position and lowering. Ensure the
different positions are working properly or not. See Fig 4.
2.1.8 The screw (9) in Fig 5 is used to adjust the truck situation. When the truck
body lifts and then drops at once, you should turn the screw (9) a little
counter-clockwise. And then try to operate truck again. Do the action until
truck body lifts normally. When truck body lifts and won’t not drop, you
should turn the screw (9) a little clockwise. And then try to operate truck again.
Do the action until truck body could drops normally. The external hexagon nut
(10) of screw (9) plays the locking function in the truck. So you should undo
the external hexagon nut (10) before adjusting truck body. When you finish the
adjustment action, please remember to lock the hexagon nut (10).

3 Operation
3.1 On/Off key
Hold the key 2 seconds. All display segments will light. The
terminal will show software part number [178037] [L 1.00].
Then the terminal will show the normal weight.
In normal display state, Hold this key 2 seconds, the terminal
will show [ -OFF- ], then power off.
3.2 Zero
Zero the scale.
3.3 Tare
Tare the scale, the display will change to Net mode.
3.4 Clear
Clear the tare, the display will go back to gross mode.
4 Loading type and rated weight
4.1 The best loading type is when the cargo gravity center is in the middle of the
truck forks. The rated weight must be reduced when the cargo gravity center is
not in the middle of the truck forks. The rated weight is shown on the label.
4.2 See Fig 4. When the hand pallet truck with scale is used to weigh or carry
cargo, the handle knob (8) should be moved to the drop position then let the
truck forks down to desired position. When the hand pallet truck with scale
lifts cargo, the handle knob (8) should be moved to the lift position then pump
the hand grip and lift the truck forks to desired position.
4.3 During the process of moving cargo, the handle knob (8) should be on the free
position.
4.4 When parking the truck or before lifting cargo, make sure the parking brake is
engaged. The brake (12) and brake lock (13) should be on.
5 Oil
5.1 The capacity of oil needed for the oil pump is about 250ml (or 0.25kg/0.55lbs).
According to the ISO oil criteria, the choice of oil is 32# when the
environment temperature is 23~104F / -5~40℃. The choice of oil is low
temperature oil when the environment temperature is -31~23F / -35~-5℃.
5.2 Disposition of waste oil: Dispose the waste oil in terms of relative laws.

6 Maintenance
Only the manufacturer or authorized persons may operate or perform maintenance
operations. Only use approved spare parts.
The routine check is carried out everyday and any abnormal phenomenon should be
dealt with immediately. Please do not use a broken truck to prolong operational life
span or use the truck without clear marking and warnings. All the rotary joints should
be lubricated with motor oil every three months. Pay special attention to the areas
between the wheels and axle. Make sure there is not any string or other material
caught in order to keep all wheels running smoothly. Make sure the instrument display
is in proper working condition. If the hand pallet truck with scale will not be used for
a long time, the battery should be removed.
7 Working environment conditions
The hand pallet truck with scale is suitable for ordinary industry and business
environments. The operating temperature is in the range of 23~104F/-5℃~+40℃. The
requirement of relative humidity is 10-95%RH. The ambient lighting should be at
least 50 lux. The work surface must be flat, non slip, hard, level and without holes or
obstacles. The turning area needed is at least 6ft. The hand pallet truck with scale
should not be used in an area with explosive materials.
8 Warnings
8.1 Please read the operation manual before you operate the hand pallet truck with
scale. Read it carefully and learn about all the features of this type of hand
pallet truck with scale.
8.2 If you want to let the cargo down by controlling the hand grip, you should lift
the truck forks a little at first, and then let the truck forks down softly. Do not
rapidly drop the forks as that could damage both the hand pallet truck with
scale and cargo.
8.3 Do not pump the hand grip with a high speed and a high frequency. Pay
attention that the forces to operate the truck are varying with the value of the
load, the ground conditions, and the truck conditions.
8.4 Do not turn the hand grip at right angles to stop truck.
8.5 Do not load the cargo in a high speed.
8.6 Do not load higher than the rated weight. Over loading could keep the hand
pallet truck with scale from working properly.
8.7 The gravity center of cargo should be in the middle of truck forks. The offset
of cargo could cause the hand pallet truck with scale to lose balance. The
extremity of fork arms shall not be used as a lever to lift a load.
8.8 Cargo without pallets should not be weighed with this type of hand pallet truck
with scale.
8.9 Do not leave the cargo on the truck forks for a long time.

7
8.10 When not using the hand pallet truck with scale, make sure that the truck forks
are in the lowest position and the power should be off.
8.11 Do not load people and do not stand on the truck forks. Never put any part of
your body below the cargo.
8.12 Do not use this truck as a vehicle jack.
8.13 Use the hand pallet truck with scale on flat and hard ground. Do not use the
truck on sloping ground or where a risk of unintentional movement exists.
8.14 Do not use the hand pallet truck with scale in an insufficiently illuminated area,
in a rainy environment or in a potentially explosive atmosphere.
8.15 Do not try to repair the hand pallet truck with scale unless you have been
trained.
8.16 Once the battery is damaged or has been used up, it should be disposed
properly..
8.17 This type of hand pallet truck with scale is not suited to use for trade
settlement.
8.18 The operator should use safety shoes and gloves for protection. Keep feet out
from underneath load.
8.19 Do not contact the truck with food directly.
8.20 Do not use the truck when it is being transported.
9 Transporting the pallet truck with scale
9.1 See Fig 8. You should detach both the hand grip and steelyard stand before
hoisting and transporting the product. They are packed separately.
9.2 The hand grip and steelyard stand should be securely fixed to avoid shifting
and possible damage. Pack them in a case and transport by fork truck or
hoisting apparatus.
