1 Operator Mode
1.1 Descripon of Operator mode
The operator mode is used to start automac inspecon process and monitoring results of inspecon. In the
operator mode is not available configure any seng of ThermoInspector. Aer start up the applicaon opens
main screen of operator mode (see Aachments p. 8, Figure 8.1). ThermoInspector automacally connects to
the camera and start capturing thermographic video.
1.2 Automac inspecon
Automac inspecon is started by pressing buon Start Inspecon (see Figure 1.1). Aer start up automac
inspecon applicaon waits for digital input signal which starts measurement and evaluaon.

Automac inspecon can be stopped by pressing buon Unlock (see Figure 1.2) which is locate in the boom
le corner of the screen. For terminang automac inspecon is necessary to enter administrator password.

If is in the applicaon set security start automac inspecon by password, is necessary enter operator password
before every start automac inspecon in dialog on Figure 1.3. Keyboard can be invoked by buon Keyboard in
dialog window. Entered password is confirmed by pressing buon OK.

The operator of applicaon in operator mode does not interfere to measurement or evaluaon, everything hap-
pens automacally. Automac inspecon can be stopped anyme by pressing buon.
Note: If the automac inspecon is stopped, applicaon will not start measurement even if input digital signal is
acve!
1.3 Descripon of individual components
Window with thermographic video signal
Window in the top right corner of the screen (see Figure 1.4) is used to display the current thermographic video
signal from camera. In image from camera is ploed measurement area, called ROI (Region of Interest) in which
is performed measurement. Every ROI element (line, rectangle, circle,…) has in right boom corner own numeric
idenfier and according seng of applicaon, ROI shows the current maximal and minimal temperature in this
area.

By click in the window with thermographic video signal is possible switch between the video signal and calibrated
color photo which are displayed ROI from thermographic image.

Status bar
Under the window with video signal is status bar, which display informaon about state of system (Live Stream,
measurement, etc.) on the le, in the middle, according to sengs in tab App. Sengs, informaon about
current zoom of video signal or temperature of camera or current value of frame per second and resoluon
of camera. On the right is indicator Time to Calib. which counts down the me to the next automac image
compensaon. During automac image compensaon is video signal paused for moment.
Temperature range and palee of thermographic image
To the right of window with video signal is temperature palee of thermographic image. All temperatures be-
tween maximal and minimal limits (right of palee) are connuously allocang color. From palee can be easy
read what temperature has specific area in the thermographic image.
Buon Full Screen
This buon will launch the Full Screen Mode, which is described in Chapter 3. This buon can be pressed only
when is acve streaming image from the camera and running inspecon. Because this applicaon is only display
and it is not possible to set anything or launch.
Table of definion of measurement area (ROI)
To the right of palee is table containing sengs for each defined measurement area. Each area in image (ROI)
corresponds to one row in the table. Table contains following columns:
ROI – Numeric idenfier which assigns row from table to specific ROI in image.
Trigger – Indicate which trigger is assigned to each ROI.
Stasc – Stasc which is evaluated in ROI. Stasc is calculated for all pixels in ROI.
Current Value – Current value of stasc in ROI.
Criterion – Criterion which is in stasc checked during the measurement.
Last Result – Value of criterion aer last measurement.
Operator – Comparison operator with which is evaluated Last Result against Criterion Value during mea-
surement.
Criterion Value – Set reference value of criterion.
Outputs 1-5 – In these columns are marked by cross linkage row to digital output of system. Etc. when all
condions are met, marked output is acve.
The table in Figure 1.5 is primary used to representaon current seng criterion, reference value, performing
operator and last measured value. If the last measured value of criterion met the condion of comparison op-
erator and reference value, whole row is colored green aer each measurement. Otherwise, row is colored
red.
In the last row of table on the le is displayed seng behavior of digital output. Are used two opon All and
One. First opon All indicate that for acvate output in the column (Outputs 1-5) have to be met condions in
all rows which have the cross in corresponding column (or row aer the measurement is green). Second opon
One indicate that for acve output in the column have to be met condions in at least of one rows which have
the cross in corresponding column.
Headers of individual column of outputs labeled 1-5 is lighted up yellow when the digital output is acve.

Producon data
Aer pressing buon Start Inspecon and start automac inspecon, instead of buon Start Inspecon is dis-
played Status bar with data about course of automac inspecon.

Inspecon Status – Displays the result of inspecon aer each measurement. If all condion are met in
the table (all row is green), the indicator lights green with the word All ROI OK. If one of condion are not
met in the table (at least one row is red), the indicator lights red with word All ROI NOK.
Running Time – Shows the elapsed me since start of automac inspecon.
Last Measurement Time – Compleon me of last measurement in automac inspecon.
Total Inspecons – The total number of inspecons from start of automac inspecon.
OK Inspecons – The number of inspecons when criterion is met (all row is green).
NOK Inspecons – The number of inspecon when criterion is not met (at least one row is red).
Number of Log Posion – Displays how many logs can be wrien on disc before filling.
Log Disc Space – Indicates a disc is full. If lights green with word Enough, there is enough space on disc. If
lights red with word Full, it is necessary archive logs and delete from disc.
Current Time – Current date and me.
Chart with course of the last measurement
In chart Disconnuous Chart (on the le of main screen, according to sengs in tab App. Sengs) are displayed

waveform stasc each ROI during the last measurement. Each course is labeled with corresponding numeric
idenfier of ROI le at the beginning of chart. If the condion defined in table is not met for any ROI this waveform
is in chart drawn with dash line. If the condion is met waveform is drawn solid line. Legend assigning a color of
line to each ROI is on the right next the chart.

Chart with course in me
In chart Connuous Chart (on the le of main screen, according to sengs in tab App. Sengs) are displayed
connuous waveform stasc each ROI in me (even outside measurement). In this chart, all waveforms are
drawn solid line. Legend assigning a color of line to each ROI is on the right next the chart.

Chart with temperature profiles
In chart Temperature Profiles (on the le of main screen, according to sengs in tab App. Sengs) are displayed

Manipulang chart
On the right next the chart is buon Autoscale On/Off to acvate or deacvate automac zoom of chart so
that each course of ROI will be displayed whole. Under buon Autoscale are buons which make it possible
manipulate chart. Buon with picture of loupe, zoom in and out different areas of the chart. Buon with picture
of hand moves zoomed chart.
Numeric outputs measured value
Numeric outputs (on the right of main screen) display value of 1-4 measured area either from current measure-
ment or connuously at me (depending on sengs). In the middle is displayed temperature value of measured
area, at the top is displayed capon of measured area and at the boom is displayed which stasc is within the
measured area evaluated.

On the le of thermographic video signal (image from thermographic camera) are columns of indicators that
connuously display the current state of digital inputs, the le column for Trigger 1 and right column for Trigger
2. If input is acve, his indicator lights green.
