Before starting
the equipment
Notes on installing
•Check the equipment for damage which may have occurred in transit.
Report any damage immediately to the transport company which was
used to deliver the compressor.
•Install the compressor in the vicinity of the point of consumption.
•Avoid long air lines and supply lines (extension cables).
•Make sure that the intake air is dry and dustfree.
•Do not install the compressor in a damp or wet room.
•The compressor may only be used in suitable rooms (with good ven-
tilation and an ambient temperature from +5 °C to 40 °C). There must
be no dust, acids, vapors, explosive gases or inammable gases in the
room.
•The compressor is designed to be used in dry rooms. It is prohibited
to use it in damp conditions.
Mains connection
Before you use the machine, make sure that the mains voltage complies
with the specications on the rating plate. Long supply cables, extensi-
ons, cable reels etc. cause a drop in voltage and can impede motor start-
up. At low temperatures below +5°C, sluggishness may make starting
dicult or impossible.

Operation
ON/OFF switch (4)
To switch on the equipment set the On/O switch (4) to position 1. Move
the On/O switch (4) to position 0 to switch o the equipment.
Important. This equipment is not designed for continuous use.
To prevent the motor from overheating, use the compressor only as fol-
lows:
Within an operating period of 10 minutes the equipment is allowed to
be operated for only 15% of the time, i.e. 1.5 minutes, at its rated perfor-
mance level. For the rest of the time the equipment must be allowed to
cool down (8.5 minutes cooling phase).
Compressed air hose with quick-lock coupling (3)
Connecting:
Insert the nipple of the air tool into the quick-lock coupling, the sleeve
will spring forward automatically.
Disconnecting:
Pull back the sleeve and remove the tool.
Important. When releasing the quick-lock coupling, be sure to hold the
coupling piece to protect yourself against injury from the rebounding
hose.
Tyre pressure gauge with adapters (Fig. 2/Item 6)
Working pressure in bar: 0-8
Range of applications:
The tyre pressure gauge allows you to inate car tyres easily and exactly.
Use the pressure gauge to check the tyre pressure. If the tyre pressure is
too high, you can reduce the pressure with the integrated relief valve (8).
The tyre pressure gauge comes with a valve adapter for car tyre valves.
Important! The pressure gauge is not calibrated! Please check the
tyre pressure immediately after lling with air, for example at your
lling station.
