1. SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS
When using an electrical appliance, basic precautions should always be followed, including
the following:
WARNING – To reduce the risk of re, electric shock or injury:
• Cables damaged through crushing or splitting can be dangerous if used and should be
replaced immediately.
• Do not connect the machine to an unearthed socket.
• Make sure the assembly area is rm, so the Air Scrubber does not tip over.
• Risk of pinching when handling the toggle fastener.
• The machine must not be used in environments where explosive gases may be present.
• The machine should be turned off at the switch before releasing the power lead from the
wall outlet. If the switch is in the on position, a spark can occur between the contact of the
power lead.
• Remove the plug from the wall socket when carrying out maintenance work.
• Dust that is hazardous to health can be spread when the coarse lter and the absolute lter
are replaced. Accordingly, the user should wear protective glasses, protective gloves, and a
breathing mask conforming to protection class FFP2
• Do not puncture the HEPA ler. Risk of dust dispersion.

2. FUNCTION
Connect the power cord to the power outlet, attach the outlet hose if available. Start the
machine by pressing the 3-position switch to I or II position.
The ATMOS 2000 Air Scrubber has two speeds (position I or II on the 3-position switch).
The ATMOS 2000 separates material in two stages: The rst stage uses a pre-lter. It captures
the bigger particles and acts as protection for the main lter. The pre-lter should be changed
on a daily basis. The secondary, or, HEPA lter, separates the unhealthy dust that is invisible to
the eye.
PRE-FILTER CHARACTERISTICS
The coarse lter is strong and easy to change. It has low pressure drop and good separation
capability. The coarse lter takes care of big particles and acts as protection for the HEPA lter.
HEPA FILTER CHARACTERISTICS
The HEPA 13 lter is individually tested with eciency >[email protected]. It is designed for ne, dry
dust and should be preceded by a pre-lter.
CAUTION
• The operating life of the HEPA lter decreases and can be completely damaged if exposed to
water.
• The HEPA cannot be cleaned and must be replaced when full.
FILTER INDICATOR
ATMOS 2000 has two lter indicators connected to a warning light which measures the pressure
drop over the lter. If the pressure drop is too high, an orange lamp will light up, indicating
that the lter is clogged and should be changed. Using the Air Scrubber when warning light is
showing will reduce the effectiveness of the machine. When the pressure drop is too low, a red
lamp will light up, indicating that the HEPA lter is leaking or punctured and needs to be replaced
immediately. On start-up, the unit will beep twice, and the red lter warning light will also light up
twice to indicate that the fan is getting up to speed. This is normal and not a warning.
FAN
The Air Scrubber is equipped with a single, 1-phase fan.
