WARNING: When using electric appliances, basic
safety precautions should always be followed to
reduce the risk of fire, electric shock, or injury to
persons, including the following:
WARNING! Use the accessory or attachment
approved by the manufacturer,The use of any other
accessory or attachment might increase the risk of
injury.
DANGER! Do not use hands to unclog chute. Stop
motor before removing debris. Do not walk in front
of running machine. Do not direct discharge at
bystander.
CAUTION! Use for snow removal only.
WARNING! To reduce the risk of injury, do not
operate without guards in place.
FOR ALL SNOW THROWERS
1) Do not use on graveled surface unless the
snow thrower is adjusted for such a surface in
accordance with the operator’s manual.
2) Keep Children Away– All visitors should be kept a
safe distance from work area.
3) Dress Properly – Do not wear loose clothing or
jewelry.They can be caught in moving parts.
4) Wear rubber boots when operating the snow
thrower.
5) Operation of the snow thrower in the hand-held
position is unsafe, except in accordance with the
special instructions for such use provided in the
operator’s manual.
6) Avoid Accidental Starting–Don’t carry snow
thrower with finger on switch. Be sure switch is
off when plugging in battery.
7) Keep hands away from moving parts.
8) Keep guards in place and in working order.
9) Don’t Force SnowThrower – It will perform better
and safer at the rate for which it was designed.
10) Don’t Overreach – Keep proper footing and
balance at all times.
11) If the snow thrower strikes a foreign object follow
these steps:
i) Stop snow thrower. Release the switch.
ii) Remove the battery pack.
iii) Inspect for damage.
iv) Repair any damage before restarting and
operating the snow thrower
12) Disconnect SnowThrower–Remove battery
pack from the machine when not in use, before
servicing, when changing accessories, and the
like.
13) Store Idle SnowThrowers Indoors – When not in
use, snow thrower should be stored indoors in
dry, locked-up place – out of reach of children.
14) Maintain SnowThrowers With Care – Follow
instructions for lubricating and changing
accessories.
FOR ALL BATTERY–OPERATED APPLIANCES:
1. Prevent unintentional starting. Ensure the switch
is in the off-position before connecting to battery
pack, picking up or carrying the appliance.
Carrying the appliance with your finger on the
switch or energizing appliance that have the
switch on invites accidents.
2. Disconnect the battery pack from the appliance
before making any adjustments, changing
accessories, or storing appliance. Such
preventive safety measures reduce the risk of
starting the appliance accidentally.
3. Recharge only with the charger specified by the
manufacturer .A charger that is suitable for one
type of battery pack may create a risk of fire when
used with another battery pack.
4. Use appliances only with specifically designated
battery packs. Use of any other battery packs may
create a risk of injury and fire.
5. When battery pack is not in use, keep it away from
other metal objects, like paper clips, coins, keys,
nails, screws or other small metal objects, that
can make a connection from one terminal to
another. Shorting the battery terminals together
may cause burns or a fire.
6. Under abusive conditions, liquid may be ejected
from the battery; avoid contact. If contact
accidentally occurs, flush with water. If liquid
contacts eyes, additionally seek medical help.
Liquid ejected from the battery may cause
irritation or burns.
7. Do not use a battery pack or appliance that is
damaged or modified. Damaged or modified
batteries may exhibit unpredictable behavior
resulting in fire, explosion or risk of injury.

8. Do not expose a battery pack or appliance to fire
or excessive temperature. Exposure to fire or
temperature above 130°C may cause explosion.
9. Follow all charging instructions and do not charge
the battery pack or appliance outside of the
temperature range specified in the instructions.
Charging improperly or at temperatures outside
of the specified range may damage the battery
and increase the risk of fire.
10. Have servicing performed by a qualified repair
person using only identical replacement parts.
This will ensure that the safety of the product is
maintained.
11. Do not modify or attempt to repair the appliance
or the battery pack (as applicable) except as
indicated in the instructions for use and care.
Safe Operation Practices for Walk-Behind
Snow Throwers
Training
1. Read, understand and follow all instructions on the
machine and in the manual before operating this
unit. Be thoroughly familiar with the controls and
the proper use of the equipment. Know how to
stop the unit and disengage the controls quickly.
2. Never allow children to operate the equipment.
Never allow adults to operate the equipment
without proper instruction.
3. Keep the area of operation clear of all persons,
particularly small children.
4. Exercise caution to avoid slipping or falling,
especially when operating the snow thrower in
reverse.
Preparation
1.Thoroughly inspect the area where the equipment
is to be used and remove all doormats, sleds,
boards, wires, and other foreign objects.
2. Do not operate the equipment without wearing
adequate winter garments. Avoid loose fitting
clothing that can get caught in moving parts.
Wear footwear that will improve footing on
slippery surfaces.
3. Adjust the collector housing height to clear gravel
or crushed rock surface.
4. Never attempt to make any adjustments while
the motor is running (except when specifically
recommended by manufacturer).
5. Always wear safety glasses or eye shields during
operation or while performing an adjustment or
repair to protect eyes from foreign objects that
may be thrown from the machine.
Operation
1. Do not put hands or feet near or under rotating
parts. Keep clear of the discharge opening at all
times.
2. Exercise extreme caution when operating on or
crossing gravel drives, walks, or roads. Stay alert
for hidden hazards or traffic.
3. After striking a foreign object, stop the motor,
remove the battery pack from the machine,
thoroughly inspect the snow thrower for any
damage, and repair the damage before restarting
and operating the snow thrower.
4. If the unit should start to vibrate abnormally, stop
the motor and check immediately for the cause.
Vibration is generally a warning of trouble.
5. Stop the motor whenever you leave the operating
position, before unclogging the auger housing or
discharge chute, and when making any repairs,
adjustments or inspections.
6. When cleaning, repairing or inspecting the snow
thrower, stop the motor and make certain the
auger and all moving parts have stopped.
Remove the battery pack from the machine to
prevent someone from accidentally starting the
motor.
7. Exercise extreme caution when operating on
slopes.
8. Never operate the snow thrower without proper
guards, and other safety protective devices in
place and working.
9. Never direct the discharge toward people or areas
where property damage can occur. Keep children
and others away.
10. Do not overload the machine capacity by
attempting to clear snow at too fast a rate.
11. Never operate the machine at high transport
speeds on slippery surfaces. Look behind and use
care when operating in reverse.
12. Disengage power to the auger when snow
thrower is transported or not in use.
13. Use only attachments and accessories approved
by the manufacturer of the snow thrower (such as
wheel weights, counterweights, or cabs).
14. Never operate the snow thrower without good
visibility or light. Always be sure of your footing,
and keep a firm hold on the handles. Walk; never
run.
Clearing a Clogged Discharge Chute
Hand contact with the rotating auger inside the
discharge chute is the most common cause of injury
associated with snow throwers. Never use your hand
to clean out the discharge chute.
To clear the chute:
1. SHUTTHE MOTOR OFF!
2. Wait 10 seconds to be sure the impeller blades
have stopped rotating.
3. Always use a clean-out tool, not your hands.
Maintenance and Storage
1. Check bolts at frequent intervals for proper
tightness to be sure the equipment is in safe
working condition.
2. Always refer to operator’s manual for important
details if the snow thrower is to be stored for an
extended period.
3. Maintain or replace safety and instruction labels,
as necessary.
4. Run the machine a few minutes after throwing
snow to prevent freeze-up of the auger.

b) Do not expose battery pack to heat or fire.
Avoid storage in direct sunlight.
c) Do not short-circuit a battery pack. Do not
store battery packs haphazardly in a box
or drawer where they may short-circuit
each other or be short-circuited by other
metal objects. When battery pack is not in use,
keep it away from other metal objects, like paper
clips, coins, keys, nails, screws or other small
metal objects, that can make a connection from
one terminal to another. Shorting the battery
terminals together may cause burns or fire.
d) Do not remove battery pack from its original
packaging until required for use.
e) Do not subject battery pack to mechanical
shock.
f) In the event of battery leaking, do not allow
the liquid to come in contact with the skin
or eyes. If contact has been made, wash
the affected area with copious amounts of
water and seek medical advice.
g) Observe the plus (+) and minus (–) marks on
the battery back and equipment and ensure
correct use.
h) Do not use any battery pack which is not
designed for use with the equipment.
i) Keep battery pack out of the reach of
children.
j) Seek medical advice immediately if a cell or
battery has been swallowed.
k) Always purchase the battery pack
recommended by the device manufacturer
for the equipment.
l) Keep battery pack clean and dry.
m) Wipe the battery pack terminals with a
clean dry cloth if they become dirty.
n) Battery pack needs to be charged before
use. Always use the correct charger and
refer to the manufacturer’s instructions
or equipment manual for proper charging
instructions.
o) Do not leave battery pack on prolonged
charge when not in use.
p) After extended periods of storage, it may
be necessary to charge and discharge
the battery pack several times to obtain
maximum performance.
q) Battery pack gives its best performance
when it is operated at normal room
temperature (20 °C ± 5 °C).
r) When disposing of battery packs, keep
battery packs of different electrochemical
systems separate from each other.
s) Recharge only with the charger specified by
WORX. Do not use any charger other than
that specifically provided for use with the
equipment. A charger that is suitable for one
type of battery pack may create a risk of fire when
used with another battery pack.
t) Retain the original product literature for
future reference.
u) Use only the battery pack in the application
for which it was intended.
v) Remove the battery pack from the
equipment when not in use.
w) Dispose of properly.

IMPORTANT
When only one light is
illuminated, at least one
battery is almost depleted
and needs to be charged,
even though the snow
thrower may still be capable
of cutting grass. Continuing
to operate your snow
thrower with the battery in
this discharged condition
may reduce the life and
performance of your battery.
When no light is illuminated,
at least one battery is not
fully installed or battery may
be defective, please double
check the batteries are fully
seated into position.

LED lights
To turn on the light, with one
hand press and hold the lock-off
button, with the other hand
squeeze the operating bail
towards the upper handle. When
you release the operating bail,
the light will be off.
LED lighting increases visibility -
great for dark or enclosed area.

BATTERY STATUS (See Fig.J)
Before starting or after use, press the button beside
the power indicator light on the machine to check
the battery capacity. During operation, the battery
capacity will be indicated automatically by the
battery power indicator.
The indicator constantly senses and displays the
battery condition as follows.
For the machine with 2 battery packs with different
power, the power indicator light displays the battery
condition with the lower one of the two batteries.

HOW TO CLEAR A DRIVEWAY/EXPERTS OFFER
TACTICAL TIPS (See Fig. L)
SNOW THROWER (NON-WINDY CONDITIONS)
(1) Cut a path straight down the middle of the drive-
way with the discharge chute facing left.
(2) Without adjusting the discharge chute, turn ma-
chine around 180 degrees.
(3) Return to driveway’s start.Turn machine the same
direction as before.
(4) Continue making circles outward in this direction
until the driveway is clear.
MAINTENANCE
Important: All electrical repairs should be
performed only by an Authorized Service
Dealer.
NOTE: Determine the left and right sides of the
machine from the normal operating position.
WARNING: If the extension cord is
plugged into the snow thrower, someone
could accidentally operate snow thrower while
you are performing maintenance on it, causing
serious personal injury.

any maintenance.
1. GENERAL MAINTENANCE TIPS
(1) Do not attempt to repair the machine unless
you have the proper tools and instructions for
disassembly and repair of the machine.
(2) Check bolts at frequent intervals for proper
tightness to ensure that the equipment is in safe
working condition.
(3) After each snow removal session, run the snow
thrower for a few minutes to prevent the auger from
freezing. Shut off the motor, wait for all revolving
parts to stop completely, and wipe residual ice and
snow off the unit. Rotate the chute rotation handle
several times to remove any excess snow.
2. REPLACING THE SCRAPER (See Fig. M)
The scraper (17) is located at the base of the snow
thrower beneath the rotor housing.
(1) Detach the worn scraper from the snow thrower
by removing the 3 screws that hold it in place.
(2) Install the new scraper and fasten it securely to
the snow thrower with 3 screws.
3. REPLACING THE AUGER (See Fig. N1-N3)
(1) Remove the screws (a) that secure the right side
cover (b) to the frame of the snow thrower by using a
spanner. Remove the nut (c).
(2) Remove the screws (d) that secure the left side
cover (e) to the frame of the snow thrower by using a
spanner. Remove the belt (f).
(3) Using a socket wrench to remove the large pulley
(g).
(4) Remove the screws (h) that secure the left side
plate (i) and remove the left side plate.
(5) Pull the axle (j) and remove the old auger (14).
Install the new auger.
(6) Reinstall the left side plate, large pulley, belt and
left side cover.
(7) Reinstall the nut and the right side cover.
STORAGE
1. Allow the motor to cool and clean the snow
thrower before storing or transporting. Be sure to
secure the unit while transporting.
2. Remove the battery pack from the snow thrower.
3. Inspect the snow thrower carefully for worn,
loose, or damaged parts. Check connections and
screws and tighten if necessary. For repairing or
replacing parts, contact yourWORX dealer.
4. Store the unit, along with the removed battery
packs, in a locked, dry place out of the reach of
children to prevent unauthorized use or damage.
Cover loosely with a tarp for added protection.
5. To aid storage, release the handle locking knob,
and fold the upper handle as shown in Fig. O1,
O2.
For battery tools
The ambient temperature range for the use and
storage of tool and battery is 0°C-45°C (32°F-113°F).
The snow blower may not properly start if its battery
temperature is -4°F (-20°C) or less. If unit doesn’t
start, remove the battery from the snow blower and
allow it to warm indoors for 10 minutes or longer.
Reinstall the battery and try again.
The recommended ambient temperature range for
the charging system during charging is 0°C-40°C
(32°F-104°F).
TROUBLE SHOOTING
The following table gives checks and actions that you can perform if your machine does not operate correctly.
If these do not identify and correct the problem, contact your service agent.
WARNING: Switch the machine off and remove the battery prior to any troubleshooting.
PROBLEM POSSIBLE CAUSE SOLUTION
The handle is not in position. Handle locking knobs are not
secured. Make sure that the knobs are fully tightened and closed.
The snow thrower doesn’t start.
Lock-off button is not
depressed.
The operating bail is defective.
Battery capacity is low.
The battery is not attached to
the motor.
Press the lock-off button and then
squeeze the operating bail.
Have the switch replaced by an
authorized service center.
Charge the battery.
Check the connection between the
motor connector and the battery.
The motor is on, but the auger
does not turn. The belt is worn or damaged. Replace the belt.
The snow thrower leaves a thin
layer of snow behind. The scraper is worn. Please refer to “REPLACINGTHE
SCRAPER” section in this manual.

POUR TOUS LES APPAREILS
1) N’utilisez pas sur une surface de gravier à moins
que la souffleuse à neige soit ajustée pour
une telle surface conformément au manuel de
l’opérateur.
2)Tenez les enfants éloignés –Tous les visiteurs
devraient être tenus éloignés de l’aire de travail.
3) Habillez-vous convenablement – Ne portez pas des
vêtements lousses ou des bijoux. Ils peuvent se
prendre dans des pièces en mouvement.
4) Portez des bottes en caoutchouc lorsque vous
utilisez la souffleuse à neige.
5) L’utilisation de la souffleuse à neige en hauteur est
dangereux, sauf si cela est fait conformément aux
instructions spéciales fournies dans le manuel de
l’opérateur.
6) Évitez un démarrage accidentel – Ne portez
pas la souffleuse à neige avec un doigt sur
l’interrupteur. Assurez-vous que l’interrupteur
est à la position Arrêt lors du branchement sur la
batterie.
7) Éloignez vos mains de toute pièce en mouvement.
8) Maintenez les gardes en place et en bon ordre de
fonctionnement.
9) Ne forcez pas l’appareil.-Il va faire un meilleur
travail et avec moins de risques de blessure en
travaillant au taux de charge pour lequel il a été
conçut.
10) N’essayez pas d’utiliser l’appareil hors de votre
portée normale.-Gardez votre équilibre et les
pieds bien ancrés en tout temps.
11) Si la souffleuse à neige frappe un corps étranger,
procédez comme suit :
i) Arrêtez la souffleuse à neige. Relâchez
l’interrupteur.
ii) Retirez la batterie.
iii) ) Inspectez pour dommages possibles.
iv) Réparez tout dommage avant de redémarrer et
d’opérer la tondeuse à gazon.
12) Débranchez la souffleuse à neige – Retirez la
batterie de la machine lorsqu’elle n’est pas
utilisée, avant tout entretien, lors du changeant
d’accessoires, etc.
13) Entreposez à l’intérieur les appareils qui ne
sont pas utilisés.-Lorsqu’inutilisés, les appareils
devraient êtres entreposés à l’intérieur dans un
endroit sec, élevé et gardé sous clef, hors de la
portée des enfants.
14) Entretenez les appareils avec soins. –Suivez
les instructions pour lubrifier et changer les
accessoires.
POUR TOUS LES APPAREILS ALIMENTÉS PAR
BATTERIE :
1. Pour éviter le démarrage non intentionnel,
s’assurer que le bouton de démarrage est en
position d’arrêt avant de brancher l’appareil au
chargeur ou de le prendre ou de le transporter.
Un accident pourrait arriver si vous vous
promenez avec l’appareil avec le doigt sur
l’interrupteur ou sur le dispositif de charge dont
l’interrupteur est en position de charge.
2. Débranchez le bloc de batterie de l’appareil
avant de faire des réglages, de remplacer des
accessoires ou de ranger l’appareil. De telles
mesures de sécurité réduisent les risques de
démarrer l’appareil accidentellement.
3. Rechargez le bloc batterie uniquement avec le

chargeur spécifié par WORX. Un chargeur adapté
à un type de batterie peut entraîner un risque
d’incendie lorsqu’il est utilisé avec une autre
batterie.
4. Utilisez les appareils uniquement avec les
batteries spécifiquement indiquées. L’utilisation
de toute autre batterie pourrait créer un risque de
lésions et d’incendie.
5. Lorsque la batterie n’est pas utilisée, tenez
la à l’écart d’autres objets métalliques, tels
que les trombones, les pièces de monnaie, les
clefs, les clous, les vis ou d’autres petits objets
métalliques, qui peuvent établir la connexion
d’une borne à l’autre. Court-circuiter les bornes
de la batterie peut provoquer des brûlures ou un
incendie.
6. Dans des conditions d’utilisation abusive, du
liquide pourrait s’éjecter de la batterie; évitez
tout contact. Si vous entrez accidentellement en
contact avec le liquide, passez la partie du corps
touchée sous le robinet. Si vos yeux entrent en
contact avec le liquide, vous devez consulter
immédiatement un médecin. Le liquide expulsé
de la batterie peut causer des irritations ou des
brûlures.
7. Ne pas utiliser une batterie ou un appareil qui
est endommagé ou modifié. Les batteries
endommagées ou modifiées peuvent présenter
des comportements imprévisibles entraînant un
incendie, une explosion ou le risque de blessures.
8. Ne pas exposer une batterie ou un appareil au feu
ou à une température excessive. L’exposition au
feu ou à une température au-dessus de 130ºC
pourrait causer une explosion.
9. Respecter toutes les consignes de charge et ne
pas charger la batterie ou l’appareil en dehors
de la plage de température indiquée dans les
consignes. Mal charger ou à des températures en
dehors de la plage indiquée peut endommager la
batterie et accroître le risque d’incendie.
10. Faites faire le service par un technicien de
réparation compétent qui ne doit utiliser que des
pièces de rechange identiques. Ceci maintiendra
la sécurité du produit.
11. Ne pas modifier ou essayer de réparer
l’appareil ou la batterie (selon le cas) sauf comme
indiqué dans les consignes d’utilisation et
d’entretien.

CONSIGNES DE SÉCURITÉ
1. Lisez, comprenez et suivez toutes les instructions

d’utilisateur avant d’utiliser cet appareil.

l’utilisation adéquate de l’appareil.
2. Ne laissez jamais les enfants utiliser l’outil.
3. Tenez toutes les personnes, en particuliers les
jeunes enfants,à distance de votre lieu de travail.
4. Soyez très attentif à ne pas glisser ou tomber,
particulièrement lorsque vous reculez.
Préparation
1. Inspectez soigneusement le lieu dans lequel vous
allez utiliser l’appareil et retirez-en les pierres, les
bâtons, les fils, les os et autres objets.
2. N’employez jamais la tondeuse pieds nus ou en
ne portant que des sandales. Évitez de porter des
vêtements trop amples qui pourraient se coincer
dans les pièces mobiles. Portez des chaussures
qui améliorent l’adhérence sur les surfaces
glissantes.
3. Réglez la hauteur du châssis du collecteur au-
dessus de la surface de gravier ou de roches.
4. N’essayez jamais de faire des réglages pendant
que le moteur est en marche (sauf si cela est
spécifiquement recommandé par le fabricant).
5. Portez toujours des lunettes de sécurité ou
un masque facial pendant l’utilisation de la
souffleuse ou lors d’un ajustement ou d’une
réparation pour protéger vos yeux des objets qui
peuvent être projetés par la machine.
OPÉRATION
1. Ne mettez pas les mains ou les pieds près de ou
sous les pièces rotatives de l’appareil. Ne restez
jamais à proximité de la zone d’éjection.
2. Soyez très attentif lorsque vous utilisez la
machine ou que vous traversez des surfaces, des
chemins ou des routes de graviers. Soyez alerte
des dangers cachés et du trafic.
3. Si vous heurtez un objet étranger, arrêtez le
moteur, retirez la batterie de la machine,
examinez minutieusement la souffleuse à neige
pour déceler d’éventuels dommages, puis
réparez les dommages avant de redémarrer et
d’utiliser la souffleuse à neige
4. Si la souffleuse commence à vibrer de façon
anormale, arrêtez le moteur et vérifiez
immédiatement la cause. Une vibration indique
généralement un problème.
5. Arrêtez le moteur chaque fois que vous quittez
la position d’utilisation, avant de débloquer
le boîtier de la vis à granules ou la goulotte
de déversement, et avant d’effectuer toute
réparation, tout ajustement ou toute inspection.
6. Avant de nettoyer, de réparer ou d’examiner la
souffleuse à neige, arrêtez le moteur et assurez-
vous que la foreuse et toutes les parties mobiles
sont arrêtées. Retirez la batterie de la machine
pour éviter que quelqu’un ne démarre pas
accidentellement le moteur.
7. Soyez extrêmement prudent lors de l’utilisation sur
des versants.
8. N’utilisez jamais la souffleuse à neige sans des
protecteurs et d’autres équipements de sécurité
et de protection appropriés en place et qui
fonctionnent.
9. Ne jamais orienter la décharge vers les personnes
ou les zones où les dommages matériels peuvent
se produire.Tenez les enfants et d’autres à l’écart.
10. Ne surchargez pas la machine en tentant de
déneiger trop vite.
11. Ne poussez jamais la machine trop vite sur une
surface glissante. Regardez derrière vous et faites

attention en reculant.
12. Débranchez l’alimentation électrique lors du
transport de la foreuse à neige ou lorsqu’elle
n’est pas en cours d’utilisation.
13. Utilisez uniquement des accessoires et pièces
approuvés par le fabricant de la souffleuse à
neige (comme des masselottes d’équilibrage, des
contrepoids, une cabine ou autre).
14. N’utilisez jamais la souffleuse si vous n’avez
pas une bonne visibilité ou un bon éclairage.
Regardez toujours où vous posez les pieds et
tenez fermement les poignées. Marchez, ne
courez pas.
Nettoyage d’une goulotte de déversement
bouchée
Le contact des mains avec la foreuse tournante à
l’intérieur de la goulotte de déversement est la cause
la plus courante de blessures liée aux souffleuses à
neige. N’utilisez jamais votre main pour nettoyer la
goulotte de déversement.
Pour nettoyer la goulotte :
1. ÉTEINDRE LE MOTEUR!
2. Attendez 10 secondes pour vous assurer que les
aubes du rouet ont arrêté de tourner.
3. Utilisez toujours un outil de nettoyage, pas vos
mains.
ENTRETIEN/ Entreposage
1. Vérifiez fréquemment que les boulons sont bien
serrés pour s’assurer que l’équipement soit en
condition de bon fonctionnement.
2. Consultez toujours les instructions du guide
de l’opérateur pour savoir comment ranger
la souffleuse à neige pendant une période
prolongée.
3. Conservez ou remplacez les étiquettes
d’instructions et de sécurité le cas échéant.
4. Faites tournez la machine pendant quelques
minutes après avoir jeté la neige pour éviter le
gel de la foreuse.
Consignes générales de sécurité concernant
la batterie
a) Ne pas démonter, ouvrir ou déchiqueter le
bloc batterie.
b) Ne pas exposer le bloc batterie à la chaleur
ou au feu. Evitez de ranger la batterie dans
un endroit exposé à la lumière directe du
soleil.
c) Ne pas court-circuiter une batterie. Ne
stockez pas les blocs batterie en vrac
dans une boîte ou un tiroir où ils peuvent
se court-circuiter ou être court-circuités
par d’autres objets métalliques. Lorsque
le bloc batterie n’est pas utilisé, conservez-le
loin d’autres objets métalliques, tels que des
trombones, des pièces de monnaie, des clés, des
clous, des vis ou d’autres objets métalliques de
petite taille, qui pourraient établir une connexion
d’un terminal à l’autre. Le fait de créer un court-
circuit entre les bornes de la batterie peut causer
des brûlures ou des incendies.
d) Ne pas retirer la batterie de son emballage
d’origine avant utilisation dans l’appareil.
e) Ne pas soumettre la batterie à des chocs
mécaniques.
f) En cas de fuite de la batterie, ne pas laisser
le liquide entrer en contact avec la peau ou
les yeux. Si un contact a été effectué, laver
la zone touchée avec beaucoup d’eau et
consulter un médecin.
g) Respecter les marques plus (+) et moins
(-) sur le bloc batterie et sur l’appareil et
veiller à bien le positionner.
h) Ne pas utiliser de batterie qui n’a pas été
conçue pour être utilisée avec cet appareil.
i) Maintenez la batterie hors de portée des
enfants.
j) Consultez immédiatement un médecin si une
cellule ou une batterie a été avalée.
k) Achetez toujours une batterie recommandée
par le fabricant de l’appareil.
l) Conservez le bloc batterie propre et sec.
m) Essuyez les bornes de la batterie avec un
chiffon propre et sec si elles deviennent
sales.
n) La batterie doit être chargée avant son
utilisation. Utilisez toujours le chargeur
adapté et reportez-vous aux instructions
du fabricant ou au manuel de l’équipement
pour suivre les instructions concernant la
procédure de charge.
o) Ne laissez pas le bloc batterie en charge
prolongée lorsqu’il n’est pas utilisé.
p) Après de longues périodes de stockage,
il peut être nécessaire de charger et de
décharger la batterie plusieurs fois pour
obtenir des performances optimales.
q) La batterie offre de meilleures performances
lorsqu’elle est utilisée à température
ambiante normale (20 °C ± 5 °C)
r) Lors de l’élimination des batteries,
conservez les blocs batteries de différents
systèmes électrochimiques séparés les uns
des autres.
s) Rechargez le bloc batterie uniquement
avec le chargeur spécifié par WORX.
N’utilisez pas un chargeur autre que celui
spécifiquement conçu pour être utilisé avec
l’équipement. Un chargeur adapté à un type
de batterie peut entraîner un risque d’incendie
lorsqu’il est utilisé avec une autre batterie.
t) Conservez la documentation originale du
produit pour référence ultérieure.
u) Utilisez uniquement la batterie dans
l’application pour laquelle elle a été prévue.
v) Retirez la batterie de l’équipement lorsqu’il

w) Éliminez la batterie de façon adéquate
