5. At the sling bar end of the existing strap join the
new strap to it using two pieces of 1” wide x 9” duct
tape. Leave a ¾” gap between the two straps. Ensure
that the tape extends about an inch beyond the sewn
junctions of the straps.
6. Pull the new strap into place using the existing
strap by pulling on the anchor end of the existing
strap while feeding the new strap from the sling bar
end. Ensure the strap follows the route of the existing
strap and that it does not twist or have excessive
slack.

7. Secure the new strap at the anchor end using the
upper most strap anchor mounting holes.
8. Attach the sling bar.
LIFT STRAP ADJUSTMENT
Over time the lift strap may stretch to a point that
when the lift arm is fully raised the sling bar cannot
be raised completely to the arm. This can be corrected
by moving the strap anchor to either the middle or
lower position. Each position increases the lift strap
upward travel by 4”.
1. Raise the lift arm to its maximum up position.
2. Raise the sling bar. If it does not go all the way to
the arm move the strap anchor as needed.
NOTE: There must be at least 4” of lift strap exposed
between the sling bar and the arm to move the strap
anchor one position. If there is not 4” of lift strap
exposed use the manual lowering until there is before
moving the strap anchor.
