Thank you for purchasing this quality product. To minimise the risk of injury we urge that our clients
take some basic safety precautions when using this device. Please read the operation instruc-
tions carefully and make sure you have understood its content.
Keep these operation instructions safe.
Attention! Abide by the information and instructions found within this operation manual to minimise the
risk of injury and property damage. – Only for domestic use. Not for commercial use.
Important! Read these instructions carefully and thoroughly. Keep these instructions to refer to them
later. If you give the product to anyone else, make sure you also to pass on this manual.
Keep small parts out of the reach of children. Pay special attention when unpacking it. Keep plastic bags
and other packaging away from children. Danger of suffocation!
Check all elements and parts for incompleteness and damages. Despite careful checks, even the best
product could be damaged during transport. In this case, do not assemble it. Damaged parts can en-
danger your health.
Never modify the product! Changes will void the warranty and the product may be unsafe or even dan-
gerous.
For cleaning use a sponge and warm soapy water. Do not use solvent-based cleaners of detergents,
e.g., bleach. They can damage the product.
Intended use
•The extension cord reel serves as a multi-extension to provide 230 V voltage where there are
no power outlets. Only use the cable drum in closed rooms. Contact with moisture must be
avoided.
•Only use the product for its intended purpose of use. Any modification applied by the customer
will have an impact on its safety and cause danger. No responsibility will be taken for damage
caused by improper handling or unappropriated use.
Safety instructions
•Before use, check that the power supply corresponds to that which is stated on the nameplate
of the device. Avoid unintentional starting.
•Do not allow water of other liquids to get into the appliance. Do not expose it to rain.
•Do not use the appliance of the plug, the mains cable or other components are damaged. If the
mains cable is damaged have the repair carried out by a qualified electrician to avoid a hazard.
Never try to repair the appliance yourself. Risk of electric shock!
•Avoid pulling the cord when removing the plug from the socket. Hold the plug instead.
•Never plug in or unplug the mains plug when your hands are wet.
•The device is not intended for use by persons with physical, sensory, or mental restrictions or a
lack of experience and/or knowledge of use unless they are supervised by a person responsible
for their safety or have received instructions from that person on how to use the device. Children
should be supervised to make sure that they do not play with the device.
Operation
If the cord drum is overheated, the built-in thermo-switch switches the whole cord drum off. Then dis-
connect the cable drum from the mains and disconnect the consumer load. Let the cable drum cool
down, then press the thermo-switch on the cord drum.

Maintenance and care
•Clean the wire and main housing with a damp cloth.
•Do not spray water or any other liquid into the reel.
•Only have the reel repaired by a specialist. Check all parts for signs of wear. If any problems
are detected, do not use the product. Always replace all damaged parts with original spare parts.
•If the product is not properly cared for and maintained, it can become unsafe and be damaged.
This can lead to dangerous situations. Regular maintenance on the product helps to keep it safe
and to increase its lifespan.
•Store the reel in a clean and dry place, out of the reach of children.

Installation
1. Choose a location free of electrical wiring or other obstructions, making sure that the surface
will be able to hold the hose reel.
2. Position the mounting bracket against the surface where you will fix it. Mark the holes for screw-
ing the expansion bolts on the surface. It is advised to fix the reel at least 80 cm away from the
floor.
3. Drill holes on the spots marked and ensure that the holes fit the expansion bolts.
4. Fix the mounting bracket to the wall with the expansion bolts provided.
5. Check that the hose extends and retracts smoothly.

Disposal regulations
EU guidelines regarding the disposal of scrap electric appliances (WEEE, 2012/19/EU) were imple-
mented in the law related to electrical and electronic equipment and appliances.
All WilTec electric devices that fall under the WEEE regulations are labelled with the crossed-out
wheeled waste bin logo. This logo indicates that this electric equipment must not be disposed with the
domestic waste.
The company WilTec Technik GmbH has been registered in the German registry EAR under the WEEE-
registration number DE45283704.
Disposal of used electrical and electronic appliances
(intended for use in the countries of the European Un-
ion and other European countries with a separate col-
lection system for these appliances).
The logo on the article or on its packaging points out
that this article must not be treated as normal house-
hold waste but must be disposed to a recycling collec-
tion point for electronic and electrical waste equipment.
By contributing to the correct disposal of this article you
protect the environment and the health of your fellow
men. Environment and health are threatened by inap-
propriate disposal.
Material recycling helps reduce the consumption of raw materials.
