Safety instructions/warnings
The owner and/or user must have read and understood the operating instructions of the device before
using it. Installed personnel should be cautious, competent, trained, and qualified in the safe handling
of the working equipment used when working with motors and their components. Warnings should be
read and understood.
•Be familiar with the application control, the application process, and the warnings.
•Before using the device, check it for completeness. Never operate the device if it is damaged
or seems inoperative.
•Make sure to know the contents of the instructions for use.
•This device is not intended to be used by persons (including children) with reduced physical or
mental abilities or with a lack of experience and knowledge, unless they be supervised and/or
instructed by a person responsible for their safety.
•Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the device.
•Ensure that no obstacles may hinder/prevent the lifting.
•Before lowering the jack, check that no persons or objects are in the danger zone.
•Secure the jack from unintentional lowering with the appropriate bolts.
•During lowering, keep your hands away from all mobile and moving parts. Risk of injuries!
•Make sure that the charge cannot shift or slide.
•Make sure that there is nobody near the charge.
•Warn persons about the charge lifted.
•Immediately contact your superior or your workshop if something unforeseen happens.
•Never exceed the maximum charge capacity.
•Never use damaged, inoperative jacks.
•Never use bent, damaged, or worn lifting devices.
•Never lift charges with obstacles possibly hindering.
•Stay concentrated and do not allow any distraction during the process.
•Never use lifting devices for lifting or transporting persons.
•NEVER LIFT CHARGES ABOVE PERSONS’ HEADS!
•Unsecured charges might lead to injuries of limbs or bones, event to fatal ones.
•Do not leave loads lifted unattended.
•Never try to extend or expand the lifting device.
•Do not use welding equipment near the jack.
•Always make sure that the workplace is well-lit.
•Make sure to wear solid shoes.
•Use a hair net for long hair.

•Before beginning to work on/under a vehicle, make sur that the vehicle is properly lifted and
secures (e.g., by engaging a gear or the “P” position and applying the parking brake).
•Bring the jack to its lowest position before refilling hydraulic oil. Only use high-quality hydraulic
oil, never use break liquid, alcohol, glycerine, cleaning agents, engine oil, water, dirty oil, or
other unsuitable liquids.
•The hydraulic cylinder is under pressure and must not be opened by force.
Control/inspection
•Before commissioning the jack, perform a visible inspection to find leaks, damages, loose, miss-
ing, or worn parts.
•Regularly control the oil level. Bring the jack to its lowest position before refilling hydraulic oil.
The oil level must exactly reach to the opening. If necessary, refill hydraulic oil. Change all the
oil one a year.
•Each jack must immediately be controlled if it has been overcharged or exposed to a violent
shock. This control should be done by a qualified person. It is advisable to have the jack in-
spected annually. Damaged parts must be replaced immediately. If this is not possible, the jack
must not be re-used.
•Regularly apply lubricant to all moving parts. Regularly check the jack for rust, cracks, and cor-
rosion. Clean the affected spots with an oily cloth.
•If the jack should be scrapped, the oil must be drained before and correctly disposed of; the rest
must be recycled.
Operation
•If the mounting surface is slippery or the ramp might slide on the surface, the ramp should be
secured with anchors; these are NOT included.
•Carefully drive the vehicle onto the ramp. The ramp should only be driven on with the non-
driving axle.
•If the ramp is driven on with the driving axle, be especially careful. The ramp might slide off
when being driven on if the force of the driving axle is too high. When being driven on with the
driving axle, the ramp must be secured towards the mounting surface from sliding off (the ma-
terial required is NOT included).
•Keep bystanders away from your working area.
•Close the valve with the pump lever by turning it clockwise. By slowly and regularly lifting and
lowering the pump lever, the charge is lifted.
•When the desired height has been reached, stop pumping and insert the fixing bolt into the
holes of the platform holms.
•To lower the charge, remove the fixing bolts and open the valve with the pump lever by
slowly turning it counter-clockwise. ATTENTION! Risk of injuries! During lifting or lowering,
make sure to keep your hands away from the ramp.
Assembly
Check all parts for completeness. They must not be damaged. Mount part 2 onto part 1. Centre part 3
between the holms of part 1. Insert the pump bar (part 5) into the lifting device (part 4).
ATTENTION: When using the jack, always respect the maximum capacity given.
ATTENTION:
Make sure that the charge is centred on the jack. Charges that are not centred may cause the jack to
tip over or to be damaged and lead to material damage and personal injuries. The jack is designed for
use on a level surface that can bear the load. Non-respect of these instructions may lead to the load
falling, to the jack being damaged, and to material damage or personal injuries being caused.
