ACCORDANCE WITH THE FOLLOWING CODE:
GREEN-AND-YELLOW : EARTH
BLUE : NEUTRAL
BROWN : LIVE
As the colours of the wires in the mains lead of this apparatus may
not correspond with the coloured markings identifying the terminals in
your plug, proceed as follows:
The wire which is coloured GREEN and YELLOW must be
connected to the terminal in the plug which is marked by the letter E
or by the safety earth symbol or coloured GREEN and YELLOW.
The wire which is coloured BLUE must be connected to the terminal
which is marked with the letter N or coloured BLACK.
The wire which is coloured BROWN must be connected to the
terminal which is marked with the letter L or coloured RED.
* This applies only to products distributed by YAMAHA KEMBLE
MUSIC (U.K.) LTD.

replaced with parts having specification equal to those originally installed.

1. Top Cover (Time required: 1 minute)
1-1 Remove the eleven [11] screws marked [480].The
top cover can then be removed.(Fig. 1)
2. CM-1 Assembly (Time required: 2 minutes)
2-1 Remove the top cover.(See Procedure 1.)
2-2 Remove the four (4) screws marked [400a].The CM-
1 assembly can then be removed. (Fig. 2)
When removing the CM-1 assembly, use care so as
not to bend connector pins of CN402 and CN403.
3. MAIN Circuit Board (Time required: 3 minutes)
3-1 Remove the top cover.(See Procedure 1.)
3-2 Remove the CM-1 assembly. (See Procedure 2.)
3-3 Remove the nine (9) screws marked [400b]. The
MAIN circuit board can then be removed. (Fig. 2)
4. AES2 Circuit Board (Time required: 3 minutes)
4-1 Remove the top cover.(See Procedure 1.)
4-2 Remove the four (4) screws marked [470] fixing the
circuit board, four (4) hexagon lock screws marked
[250] from the rear panel and two (2) jack sockets
marked [190].The AES2circuit board can then be
removed. (Fig. 2)

1-1. ネジ[480]11本を外し、トップカバーを外します。

2. CM-1Ass'y（所要時間:2分）
2-1. トップカバーを外します。（1 項参照）
2-2. ネジ[400a]4 本を外し、CM-1Ass'yを外します。
(Fig. 2)
※CN402、403のコネクタピンを曲げない様、注意し
て外して下さい。
3. MAIN シート（所要時間:3 分）
3-1. トップカバーを外します。（1 項参照）
3-2. CM-1Ass'yを外します。（2 項参照）
3-3. ネジ[400b]9本を外し、MAIN シートを外します。
(Fig. 2)
4. AES2 シート（所要時間:3 分）
4-1. トップカバーを外します。（1 項参照）
4-2. シートを止めているネジ[470]4本と、リアパネルの
六角ロックネジ[250]4本、ジャックソケット[190]2
本を外し、AES2シートを外します。(Fig.2)

5-1 Remove the top cover. (See Procedure 1.)
5-2 Remove the AES2 circuit board.(See Procedure 4.)
5-3 Remove the six (6) screws marked [400a] fixing the
circuit board and the AES circuit board angle.Also,
remove the four (4) hexagon lock screws marked
[250] from the rear panel and two (2) jack sockets
marked [190].The AES1 circuit board can then be
removed. (Fig. 3)
6. PN-JACK Circuit Board (Time required: 2 minutes)
6-1 Remove the top cover. (See Procedure 1.)
6-2 Remove the two (2) screws marked [400b] from the
circuit board, , three (3) screws marked [460] and
one (1) screw marked [410] from the rear panel.The
PN-JACK circuit board can then be removed.(Fig. 3)
7. Power Unit (Time required: 2 minutes)
7-1 Remove the top cover. (See Procedure 1.)
7-2 Remove the four (4) screws marked [400c] from the
circuit board.The power unit can then be removed.

5. AES1 シート（所要時間:6 分）

5-3. シートを止めているネジ[400a]6 本を外し、AES
シートアングルも外します。リアパネルの六角ロッ

6-1. トップカバーを外します。（1 項参照）
6-2. シートのネジ[400b]2 本、リアパネルのネジ[460]3
本とネジ[410]1 本を外し、PN-JACK シートを外し
ます。(Fig.3)
7. 電源ユニット（所要時間:2 分）
7-1. トップカバーを外します。（1 項参照）
7-2. シートのネジ[400c]4本を外し、電源ユニットを外

rear panel.The AC INLET assembly can then be
removed. (Fig. 3)
9. PN-LED Circuit Board (Time required:2 minutes)
9-1 Remove the top cover.(See Procedure 1.)
9-2 Remove the two (2) screws marked [480] from the
front panel and then remove the front panel
assembly.
9-3 Remove the seven (7) screws marked [400] from
the circuit board.The PN-LED circuit board can then
be removed. (Fig. 4)
10. PN-PSW Circuit Board (Time required: 2 minutes)
10-1 Remove the top cover. (See Procedure 1.)
10-2 Remove the front panel assembly. (See Procedure
9-2.)
10-3 Remove the PSW knob.
10-4 Remove the two (2) screws marked [470] fixing the
switch and one (1) screw marked [400d] fixing the
circuit board.The PN-PSW circuit board can then
