Determining Proper Span Gain
The span gain parameter, accessed from keyword F2 in the System Keyword Setup Mode, is
directlyrelatedtotheanalogtodigitalintegrationtime. Therefore,thelowerthespangainnumber,
thehigherthe measurementspersecond. Disregardingthe digitalfilterlength,a spangainof25
produces about 25 to 30 measurements per second, while a span gain of 200 produces only 3 or 4
measurementspersecond.
