Sky Speaker-I Megaphone
Introduction
Sky Speaker-I is a megaphone designed for SUAS,can be installed on multirotor and
fixed wing platforms.Based on digital wireless transmission technology,it can play
recorded sound sources and do real-time broadcasting.In this case,it will be very
helpful in missions like broadcasting over crowds,fire fighting,police
negotiation,rescue etc.
Compared with normal analog signal transmission based megaphone,Sky Speaker-I
uses advanced digital sound coding technology,which enable the speaker to avoid
analog sound disturbing in the air.
Sky Speaker-I has 2 working modes:play SD card recorded sound and real-time
broadcasting.You are able to switch the modes easily on handheld intercom.Another
big feature for Sky Speaker-I is its lightweight design,simple structure and small
size,which makes the drone to carry it easily and fly with low resistance in the air.

[4]REC button,press this button to play SD card recorded sound file in a loop,stop
playing if press the button again(you can press PTT button to speak when it is playing
recorded sound.Loosen PTT button,then speaker play recorded sound from the
beginning)
[5]Power switch.Turn it on,then indicator light [10]PWR will light up.Please turn down
the power if intercom is not in use to save energy.
[6]USB charge port.Battery voltage range is 3.7V-4.2V,please use 1C charger.When it
is in charging process,indicator light [7] CHG is red.If charging is completed,[7]CHG
turned green.
[7]Charging indicator CHG.
[8]PTT indicator.The indicator will light up if PTT button is pressed.
[9]REC indicator.The indicator will light up if REC button is pressed.
[10]Power indicator PWR
[11]MIC area.Please speak at the right front of MIC area,2CM distance is the best.
[12]Channel switch.The system supports 4 channels,please make sure the speaker
and the intercom at the same channel.

System installation steps
1)Install the speaker to the drone,try to keep it away from compass,GPS magnetic
sensitive components.
2)Install speaker antenna,keep it at the same channel with wireless intercom.
3)Connect to LIPO battery with XT60 connector
4)Turn the intercom power on,wait for seconds until REC indicator light up one
time,then intercom initialization complete.Make it at the same channel with speaker.
5)Keep the intercom at least 20 meters away from the speaker,press PTT button,PTT
indicator light up,wait for at least 0.5 second,speak to MIC area,you can hear your
voice if everything is ok.
6)Loosen PTT button and then press REC button,REC indicator light up,speaker start
to play recorded sound is everything is ok.
