Pterodriver is a two-channel tube guitar preamp built with
two 12AX7 (ECC83S) vacuum tubes. Its flexible settings provide a
full range of tones from a warm and clean crunch to an aggressive
PD-7
distortion. Comparing to its predecessor (PD-5), has a
dedicated EQ for each channel, an effects loop and a Bright switch,
all of these features making more versatile for live usage.
Due to its more traditional and ergonomic design, the preamp
can be positioned more precisely on the pedalboard.

GENERAL INFO
 Do not store and/or use this apparatus in highly humid con-
ditions (More than 80%).
 After storage/transportation in case of low temperature please
let the equipment warm up to room temperature for 2 hours at least
 Protect the equipment from falling, impacts and letting any
obstacles, dirt, liquids or precipitations inside.
 Use only the original power supply (included) to avoid any
unwanted noises and to provide proper performance of the
device.

is powered by an E318E12 12V AC-DC power supply
(included). PD-7 has separate GAIN (9,12) and VOLUME controls
both for clean (21) and overdrive (20) channels. Switching
between channels is done using the CH 1/CH2 button switch. A
separate 3-band equalizer (BASS, MIDDLE, TREBLE –
PD-7
3,4,6,15,16,17) is located before the overdrive section for CH 1
and after the overdrive section for CH 2 Switching between CH 1
and CH 2 is indicated by a dedicated LED (10). It is green when
CH 1 is active and orange when CH 2 is being used. The input
sensitivity is selected by a LO/HI button switch (16).
When LO mode is engaged, the dedicated LED (11) lights
green and when running the HI mode the LED lights red.
CH 1 has a special BRIGHT (13) switch that allows to obtain a
more bright and sparkling tone. Its performance is mostly
noticeable when the GAIN 1 control is turned half-way or less.
OUTPUT (1) jack uses two modes that are selected with the
CAB.SIM (19) switch.

The OFF mode is used when the is connected to an
amp’s return jack or to an IR player (e.g. iRon Cab). The ON
mode engages speakersimulation and the can be connected

Operation environment should be 10 – 40° C and no more
than 80% air humidity. Keep this stompbox no closer than 1 m
from the heating devices when using it. After a low-temperature
storage/transportation let the equipment warm up to room
temperature for at least 2 hours before using it. Protect the
equipment from falling, impacts and letting any obstacles, dirt,
liquids or precipitations inside. In any case of damage/malfunction

WARRANTY
A limited warranty period is 12 months from the date of pur-
chase. During this period the owner can get
free of charge repairs/service if any manufacturing defect takes
place (a fulfilled warranty card is
necessary). Please contact the retail seller you bought this
equipment from.
Attention!
If the date of purchase/retailer stamp is missing in the warranty
card, the warranty period starts with the date of production.
Warranty void if:
- The device is mechanically damaged
- The malfunction/damage is caused by improper usage
- In case of disassembly/unauthorized service/modification
