The Affinity is so quiet you may never notice it running The QuietDrive System™in our
8T model, features a combination swept-wing fan design, isolated compressor compartment,
composite base pan, and two-stage heating and cooling that provides
quieter operation than conventional systems. It’s our quietest series ever.
All models include high-efficiency compressors, advanced composite
material and advanced fan design to minimize and reduce noise.
Exclusive Hot Heat Pump Technology
Unlike standard heat pumps, the 3S & 8T models incorporate
“Hot Heat Pump” technology to deliver higher discharge air
temperatures. Their innovative compressor and control technology
combine to eliminate initial cold drafts and lower energy costs.

efficiency, reduced noise, and even comfort levels.
Designed to outperform
Our 8T model is engineered with a two-stage compressor. The result
is a smoother, nearly continuous cycle that delivers a more efficient,
quieter operation with improved reliability. During cooler days it can
operate at a part-load capacity or when needed, ramp up to full
capacity for increased humidity and temperature control. You’ll hardly notice the system is there as it gives
you years of dependable operation.

1. Seasonal Energy Efficiency Ratio (SEER) is a measure of air-cooling efficiency. A higher SEER rating indicates
a more energy-efficient unit. The government’s established minimum rating for air conditioning is 10.
2. Heating Season Performance Factor (HSPF) is a measure of air-heating efficiency. A higher HSPF rating
indicates a more energy efficient unit.

To Use The Map and Chart:
Using the map, locate the zone you live in. Determine the
SEER/HSPF of your current system. Cross-reference your zone and
current SEER/HSPF in the table to determine your approximate
annual cooling/heating costs. The difference between your current
cost and that of a higher-SEER/HSPF unit is your estimated annual savings.
