MIXER START UP AND SHUT DOWN
FOR THE ABEL MIXER: ELECTRIC-POWERED MODEL
To Start:
•Ensure no people are in the vicinity of the mixer unit
•Ensure mixer is on level ground and the wheels are chocked
•Ensure the mixer and power lead/s are safe and not on damp or wet
surfaces
•Ensure RCD is operable and connected
•Ensure electrical lead is connected and the correct length
•Turn on/off switch to the ‘on’ position
To Shut Down:
•Ensure the mixer drum is in stowed position (drum facing ground)
•Turn on/off switch to the ‘off’ position
•If the mixer is no longer to be used, switch off power supply
FOR THE ABEL MIXER: PETROL-POWERED MODEL
To Start:
•Ensure no people are in the vicinity of the mixer unit
•Ensure mixer is on level ground and the wheels are chocked
•Turn the fuel tap on
•Turn choke on
•Pull the recoil rope gently until there is resistance
•Release and pull the recoil rope swiftly to start and then switch off
choke
•Increase RPM to applicable range
To Shut Down:
•Ensure the mixer drum is in stowed position (drum facing ground)
•Decrease RPM to idle
•Turn on/off switch to the ‘off’ position
•Switch off fuel tap

WARRANTY / TERMS AND CONDITIONS OF SALE
WARRANTY PERIOD/S:
•2-year Manufacturer's Warranty on Build (Defects in material and
workmanship)
•2-year on electric motor
•3-year Manufacturer’s Warranty on HONDA engines (see Honda
Owner’s Manual and website for details).
Responsibility of the Consumer under this Limited Warranty:
•Mixer to be serviced every six months or 100 hours whichever comes
first
•Mixer to be maintained and repaired when required, not to be used
with a known fault
•Mixer bowl to be cleaned after use
•Engine maintenance to be carried out to manufacturer’s
recommendations (proof required)
