1. Dome Installation Steps (The camera in the package is already assembled.)
Mount the bracket before the
installation.
A. Assure the mounted
surface is solid enough to
support the weight of the
whole camera hardware
B. Drill holes through the
mounting surface for
allowing cables through.
C. Install the Camera Housing. (See page 3)
D. Mount the camera inside the housing. (See page 3)
E. Mount the speed dome cover.

10
2. Install the Camera Housing
Coat the cables with the foam cylinder first before connecting the cables.
The cylinder which coats the cables should be placed through the hole, joining
the dome cover and the bracket for preventing insects or dust. See page 2 for
more details.
3. Mount the Camera Inside the Housing
A. Mount the base on the wall by using
the screws.
B. There is a safety strap equipped to
secure the camera while it is being
hung from above with the bracket. You
can adjust the interior parts, install, or
uninstall the IP camera without any risk
of the camera falling off.

11
C. Loosen the screws A, C, D before mounting the camera device unto the bracket.
Screw B is purposed to hold the strap, therefore it is meant to be tightened at all
times.
D. Keep the blue arrow side of the camera aiming at the blue arrow side of the dome
housing. Place the camera edge unto the screws A, C, D. B is meant to hold the clip
chain, it is not meant to fit any gap. The big knob is a screw which aims for screw E,
that fixes firmly the whole camera into the housing. This knob must be tight on the
final step of the installation only.

12
E. Follow the mini steps from the pictures:
1. Aim to make the gaps fit
the screws.
2. Pull the edge against the
other side for avoiding the
screws to get stuck in the
gaps.
3. Tighten the screws with
the screw driver.
4. Check the flexibility and stability of the installation. Be sure the camera can turn and
rotate firmly with no resistance inside the dome cover. After this tight, please tight
the big knob (screw E)

13
4. Connector Instruction
The camera connectors are as below. Connect the power and the
Ethernet cable with the camera, and set it according to your network
environment.
5. PoE (Power Over Ethernet) (Optional) 802.3af, 15.4W PoE Switch
is recommended
Power over Ethernet (PoE) is a technology that integrates power into a
standard LAN infrastructure. It enables power to be provided to a
network device, such as an IP phone or a network camera, using the
same cable as that used for network connection. It eliminates the need
for power outlets at the camera locations and enables easier
application of uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) to ensure 24 hours
a day, 7 days a week operation.

c. Dial-up (PPPoE)
4. Execute IP Scanner
5. For Windows XP SP2 or above, a Windows Security Alert may pop up.
Choose the network type based on your surveillance environment, and
